Feeling unsatisfied with his first bout of food Ian stood back up and headed back to the lunch line. He fiddled with his tail imaptiently until it started to move and he quickly filled his plate with seconds. As he reached the register he pulled out his wallet opening it up to reveal nothing but an empty dusty space. He childishly grinned at the lunch lady sweatdrop , who returned his smile with an un amused stare. He rifled through the many pockets in his baggy cargo pants trying to seperate the rubber bands, poket lint, wadded up paper, and loose change that where mixed up within. Finally he counted up enough to pay and looked once again for a spot to sit and eat.

The first morning rays of the sun seemed to greet Lenair, as well as Aramil as they continued to tread away from the church, which now basked within the coming sunlight. As they gradually traversed, the cathedral itself seemed not to shrink or lose its enormous stature in any way. It was truly one of the tallest buildings, aside from the tower which hosted as the girls' dormitory. But Lenair no longer focused upon the church, as her job had been complete there, she would only return for possibly another night or morning. The end of her wooden staff would make a gentle clack against the concrete as she treaded onward, spotting a dome shaped building with a purely glass ceiling that stretched along one of the interior and exterior walls of the edifice.

From the transparent view, Lenair was able to spot a grouping of students, not only inside, but a scant number of them outside as well as they gossiped and enjoyed their lunches in peace. The structure is nice... Even as she traipsed over the cement, she continued to admire the exterior of the cafeteria with hidden amusement, as Aramil and herself made their way to the entrance, which was composed of a glass door with metal bordering it on all edges and sides. Lenair first transferred her staff from her left hand to her right, which was attached to the arm that still lay intertwined with Aramil's. She gently pushed against one of the single doors, as it moved inward, allowing them entrance. From there, she took her first steps into the foreign building, but did not tread too far as she waited for Aramil to follow her.

Aramil follows her in, their staffs making a distinctive clack as they walked. He watches as she is enamored with the building and just chuckles to himself. As she opens the door he follows her in, when she stops he stops and asks "Would you like me to show you everything or do you know your way around already?"

*Kanna slowly makes her way to the cafetorium, her nose buried in a book as usual.Today it was The Stand by Stephen King and she was just getting to chapter 23, one more page to go.As she walks into the caf, she dodges oncoming or outgoing people without even lifting her head up once.As she reaches a spot to sit, she plunks herself down, lowers her book for a moment and glances around.* "Wow...Really pretty cafeteria...I like it..." *She would then return to reading her book silently.*

The cafeteria doors came to a sound close, as Aramil easily made his way inside the edifice. Lenair had gazed down the corridor, which led into the main room within the cafeteria. Florally styled and other more vivacious styles of wallpaper lined the walls, and there was a clear tiling seen upon the ground. A murky reflection was cast beneath Lenair, showing a distorted and incongruous view. She peered at her queer mirror image for a while, almost sparking another fit of laughter. The sunlight that radiated through the glass coverings of the two doors brushed against her gentle face, causing her eyes to squint slightly, though she soon turned to find shielding from the sun's embracing rays. Students were seen while they passed through the hallway, were in their placement amongst the indoor tables, or heard due to the vociferous chatter. Some even chose to run about the area, disrupting several luncheons that were enjoyed amongst friends (but were now rudely interrupted). Lenair giggled lightly at the childish play. It was possibly much quieter outside. But her curiosity had not laid to rest yet, and it seemed she needn't ask Aramil for a tour about the vicinity. His question broke her perpetuating trance, as she returned her sapphire eyes towards him, nodding her head in a light manner. The metal trinket belonging to the band of her veil jolted into a spring of movement, as it brushed up against her lucent bangs. "Yes, I would like the grand tour. Heh, there must be more to this cafeteria than what is apparent now." Her statement ended soundly in her usual dulcet tone, as she smiled with expectancy.

*Kanna woke up, her head rested on the table, and she rubbed her eyes as she sat up straight and her dull grey orbs scanned the cafeteria slowly."Hmm...Must have dosed off while reading..."With a yawn, she picks up her book as she gets ready to leave. The caf was nice, but too many people bothered her on the occasional day, and today was one of those days. With one more glance around the caf, she starts walking, her heels clicking along the floor but unheard from all the chit chat of other students and teachers. When she reaches the door, she pushes it open and steps out to explore other parts of the school, preferrably the library.*

Sakura followed the teacher back to the booth while her eyes still fixed upon the sterrosas. The words that came from the teacher's mouth never entered her mind. She had lost all sense of reality as she recalled her very first memory of sterrosas.

Sakura who looked about four years old in human years, floated in the air with her arms crossed. There was a pout on her face as she glared at the strange object that her parents were telling her to eat. A melodic voice floated through the air.

"You'll like it Sakura. Won't you just try it?"

Still pouting, Sakura shook her head. "Nuh uh!"

Looking at the foreign round object with distaste, she wondered how one was even supposed to eat it. Her tiny little mouth could not possibly even bite it! Her mother smiled at Sakura with an amused grin as she extended her hand to the fruit and drew a circle on the surface of the spherical fruit. A hole appeared in the fruit revealing it to be filled with what seemed like pink candy stars!

Curious Sakura flew a little closer and peered into the hole. The little stars inside looked so pretty...perhaps it was okay to try out this new fruit afterall. Her little hand reached inside and picked out a single seed and licked it before putting it into her mouth. Wonder filled her face as she reached for more.

Sakura's mom started laughing as she watched her adorable daughter cram more of the fruit's seeds into her mouth. A stinky pink juice spread over Sakura's face as she ate more and more. By now Sakura was sitting in the air with the fruit called sterrosas in her lap.

Sakura had been absently eating her meal as she thought of the sterrosas. She had not even realized that she had finished the calamari in her fingers and was now biting her own finger. A trickle of blood dripped down from her onto the table. That was when she was pulled back into reality.

"Oops..."

Sakura sweatdropped as she hurried to finish the rest of her meal before she ended up chewing off her entire hand.

Aramil nods "Yes there is a lot more of Ria in general than meets the eye. But yes the official Ria cafeteria tour, where to begin?" he looks pensive "Well we have your basic types at Ria: Shifters, Magi, Elementalists, Swordspeople" he says with a smirk "You have to be politically correct and say Swordspeople, some guy got slapped for saying swordsman. Now where was I? Oh yes the types of people. We have a few techies as we call em, they're the engineers of Ria, we also have the priests over there, oh yes you can't forget the Non-Humans, and lastly the teachers. Just a friendly warning about the Non-Humans, be very carefull on what you say, you never know what they might take offense to. That about does it for people. Oh one last warning, never agree to test any of the techies equipment, you never know what exactly will happen" he adds with a grin. "Anything else you wish to know? I know I was a bit vague"

"Which one? We've had to remodel three times now. Usually some kids get into a fight out there and blow the whole place sky high. Its getting rather expensive and annoying to keep having to fix it. If you are going to get some food, I must depart for a moment and see the Headmaster about my class. I will be rejoining you shortly, and I trust you can find the line for yourself?" he asks "Well Miss Lenair, I will be seeing you shortly, but until my return..." he says with a bow. Chanting a few quick words in the arcane language, his body fades from sight as he teleports away.

Ian leaned back in his chair after having finsished his meal and stared intently at the celing. He had been here for a few days but still only really knew one person, and as he thought about it knew that he didn't even know them that well. No matter, he thought to himself, I was a loner at my last school and as soon as I made freinds I became an outcast and transfered here, he put his head down on his arms, closing his eyes feeling a little depressed.

"I see, that is quite a nuisance." She nodded understandingly and rested her head against her staff for a short while. "Well, at least I know why the courtyard had appeared so battered and fragmented." Her head soon lifted as he told her of his need to depart for a while. She nodded first, feeling that finding the lunch line would not be a difficult task. One of the single lengths of her hair seemed to block her vision, but further complications were obviated as she pushed it gently to the side with her finger. "Yes, I'll be fine. I'll just wait here for you." Her smile remained ever so gentle as she watched him bow, and then vanish, without even the need of exuded smoke. Another wave of surprise seemed to tumble over her for a short while. Wow... he's gifted with teleportation. I guess that comes with being an Archmagus. She soon lifted her staff, swiftly transferring it into her right hand as she made her way down the decorative corridor. Her staff commenced its barely audible clacks against the tiled floor, as her boots followed in suit with their light grazing motions against the ground. She traced a few lone fingers along her tattooed cheek, feeling the outlines of the enigmatic marks. They had always been there, as well as the ones found along the left side of her body. They were her birthmarks. Lenair became somewhat lost within thought, and almost unconsciously treaded into the main lunchroom. Rows upon rows of tables were set out within the extremely spacious room. She only broke free of her contemplation as a few loud screams ruptured her ear drums. She blinked first, gazing over towards the side as she spotted the nearly empty lunch line. I guess I made good timing. Her feet carried her over to the line, where multifarious kinds of food were displayed, as though expecting a culinary set of window shoppers. She lightly grasped a clean tray as she began her scavenger hunt. Lenair's sapphire eyes scanned over the array of foods, filled with splendor as she found quite a few indelible favorites. First, her hand plucked a set of delicious medium sized fuji apples. But it made a rebound as she also grabbed a bottle of fresh spring water, a pre-made garden salad, and also a delectable tuna-sandwich. As her items were piled onto her tray, and she found herself rather satisfied with her current choices. She continued down the line, passing a few other indecisive students as they pondered over choosing the mystery dish or something more so familiar. As she came down, face to face with the cashier, she felt her single pocket, before pulling out her I.D. card. The comely lady that stood behind the register peered at her I.D. from afar, comparing the image with Lenair's over visage, almost in question. But as a gracious smile took form from her inquisitive gaze, she nodded her O.K. and allowed Lenair to pass. "Thank you," Lenair kindly articulated. She then left, in search of an available lunch table.

Ian snapped his fingers as he manipulated time, rewinding the lunch trays path that he had carried it back to where it belonged. He smirked triumphitantly laughing inside that he had learned to use his powers to complament his own laziness. He leaned over dropping his head on the table. "what to do know..." he couldn't beleive it but he was actually quite bored, there where no skate parks nearby and he didn't know anyone that he could really battle in the arena, the school seemed like it had all of the potential to be fun, he just had to find ways of harnessing it to his own amusment but as of yet was at a lack for such answers.

"Thank you sir" and with that Aramil re appeared from the Headmasters office but instead of teleporting infront of Lenair as he had hoped, his calculations were slightly off and he ended up teleporting on top of her "What the?! Ouch!" he yelps as he re appears. Quickly standing up to recover what is left of his dignity he offers his hand to Lenair. "I'm terribly sorry about all that, I had assumed you were standing still when I cast my spell, I found out you weren't the hard way..." he says with a slight blush tracing the edges of his cheeks. "My we are a mess" he remarks after looking at the spilled food "Oh well, I'll just clean this up" waving his hand the spilt food disapears off the floor and her clothing, taking away any sign of their earlier presence "Since I did cause the mess, should I go get you more food?" he asks still very embaressed and flushed

Lenair walked about, almost lost amongst the many tables she could traverse towards. It was only a small dilemma, one that she solved by figuring a seat outside would be nice. But I should wait here for Aramil. Yet the wait didn't seem needed as she was pushed by what seemed to be an invisible force. The silhouette of a man became apparent as she fell, now finding Aramil on top of her. The tray fell freely from her hands, scattering the loose vegetables from the salad onto her outfit and also into her short azure locks. The other items had not sullied her as much as the salad, since her apples rolled away, along with her water bottle. Her face became as crimson as blood itself, as her eyes focused upon Aramil, as her lips lay agape. "...." She couldn't say anything, the whole ordeal had simply surprised her. It took her a while to register to the hand he offered as a lift from the ground, as he stood there, looking extremely apologetic. Her mouth finally closed as she shook her head, and lightly grasped his hand, though a bit shakily. She soon pulled herself upward, along with her staff, which had also fallen. "It- it's alright. Heh, that was a bit awkward." Embarrassment still seemed laced about her face, but the blush had died down subtly. As he waved his hand, the food and remaining mess simply vanished, leaving her a bit less flustered. But her heart rate ran expeditiously, as though she had fallen ill or suffered from a heart attack. She nodded, once more to his further question, and even giggled somewhat. "Yes, that would nice. Oh, also... would you like to sit outside with me?" Both of her hands seemed to tightly embrace her staff as she stood there, still suffering from the aftermath of the miscalculation.
