Lex turned her head just in time to see Shaydra's body being carried away. She whipped around and looked back to the rat Shaydra. She morphed into a falcon, grabbed the rat from the tree and put her gently into Sigilos' hands. "Should I go after him?"

The gold had look of confusion on his face.
*Rat? Shaydra is right there, I can see her.*
He pointed at the tree as he spoke, one of Shaydra's arms drooping over a branch.
*This is too much, hold on.*
He closed his eyes again, feeling for his sister with his thought, he had done this before and it had worked. He felt her, right there. Wait, something was wrong. Why was she on the ground, her body was in the tree? He pointed his body toward the spark of light he could "see" was Shaydra, then opened his eyes. He was looking right at a small rat.
*Oh bloody hell, what did you do? Never mind, talk about that later, we need to go find your pencil and get away from here.*
He reached into his pocket of otherspace, pulling out a few gemstones. At that moment, Shaydra's body left.
*Go ahead, go get it please.*

((Sigilos, read our last posts.))
Shaydra squeaked in Lex's talons before she was deposited into Sigilos's paws. Some part of her still had the rat's instincts, so she was frightened of the hawk. She grabbed the gemstones, then looked at the direction of where her body had left. She pointed.

Neoxis got to the where the shapeshifter was and set the body down. He then said a short spell then started setting up teleportion runes.
The shapeshifter could see all that was going on at his lair, and knew who this red dragon was, for the real Abbas had been killed a long time ago... by him. "yes... you need to come to me. leave the body behind.... you have failed me again"
Neoxis kicked the body out of the field then activated the spell. he teleported into a lair hidden in the clouds far above, to meet the Shapeshifter. ((yes i know its still night probably dawn))

Lex floew off, following her body. She caught up with the man just in time to see him dissapearing, but the body was still there. She landed and changed into a human, scopping the body onto her back. Then she morphed into a horse, so it was easyier to carry. She raced back to the group with Shaydra's body, and stood there panting, while the others helped Shaydra.

Luxran limped out of the castle and fell right when he got out. he saw lex running back with Shaydra's body but couldn't call out.

Shaydra dropped out of Sigilos's paws, carrying an oval-cut garnet in her front paws. She scurried over to her body, feeling immensely strange.
Then the rat sniffed around the human's neck, and tugged at something. A chain protruded from under Shaydra's body. The rat tugged harder until a garnet necklace, inlaid with silver, was revealed.
The rat Shaydra pried off the garnet in the necklace and replaced it with the garnet she had. Then she tapped it and squeaked a few words. The gemstone glowed for a few moments.
Finished with that, Shaydra nosed around her human form until she pulled out a pencil from the body's pocket. She pierced her rat's paw with the lead point so a drop of blood fell on the garnet necklace. But the drop of blood was different; it had a silvery shine.
Then she stabbed her human body's arm until a drop of blood fell on a leaf. The rat carried the leaf over to the garnet necklace and tilted it until the rat's blood joined the human blood. Then, smearing the blood, she squeaked another few words.
A bright flash of light, a loud squeak; Shaydra felt her soul being tugged away from the rat, it was just in time; another few moments and she would of been a rat forever. Then the human Shaydra sat up, and the rat lay motionless at her feet.
"Finally," she sighed, stretching, "That felt very unusual." Colors swirled around her, widening until Shaydra was out of view. The colors faded and Shaydra the dragon sat there, grinning.
But then she glanced toward the castle. "Luxran!" she cried, stooping over to him.

"Shaydra!" Lex ran up to her, gave her a brief hug, then knelt down to Luxran. "He's got some pretty bad wounds." She morphed into a horse and told Shaydra to put him on her back so he could be carried easily. "Can we go back to the Inn? Now that the shifter knows where we are?"

Shaydra shrugged and picked up the limp rat that she had posessed. "I don't know about that," she said. "At least the mage cannot summon me again, I broke the last pencil. I assume going to the Inn would be something the mage would expect. The mage still has the Universal Charm, and he will still be bent on combining the Two Worlds and killing me."
She wrinkled her snout at the rat. "This is what I was? I suppose I'll have to keep the poor rat for the time being, because the rat may have gotten a part of my soul. I don't know until the rat's spirit comes back from the spirit world." She lowered the rat in her bag.
"We shouldn't go back to the Inn. Perhaps you know of somewhere safe?" she said, cocking her head.

Lex shook her head, "I am a wanderer, I don't know any 'hide-outs'.''She said, "Although I'm sure someone else does, and hurry. Luxran needs some help."

"Where is it?" Lex looked back at Luxran, with sympathy in her eyes. So amny of her firends were getting hurt, she hated it.

"Its in some cliffs near the inn. remember the cliffs we climbed up? there is a cave with some wolves that i met." luxran said puting his head down. "the wolves there can help with anything and they will protect us."
