Soul was standing up, holding a stick and swinging it around like a sword, like his fantasies in which he was his own character, Kindred Elementis. He tried to keep the motions as fluid as possible as he swung it around him. He normally did this with a broom or some object when he was at home, and with nothing truly valuable, he didn't mind when it when flying, as long as it steered clear of his TV. When Margy fell, he ran over quickly, to assess the situation, but found her still, oddly, asleep, in her own little dream world. He smiled at this and chuckled slightly. "Little dream world." He muttered, walking away for a moment. "Demanding little dream world, trying to kill me, my friends, and having us camp out in the middle of virtually nowhere." He walked until he was out of earshot of Stephenie, whom he feared he might wake due to her being a dog now. He stared u at the sky. "One big little dream world, where everyone is special except me." He muttered darkly, before shaking his head. "Meh, Teenage angst doesn't become of me. I'm still ticked though." He said aloud, even though no one was listening. He turned around and returned to 'camp'.

"STICK!!!" Margy suddenly yelled out in her sleep, a second later she leapt up like something had bit her and made a mad dash for Soul.
"STICK STICK STICK!!" she yelled in her sleep, before suddenly bitting down onto the stick that Soul had been using as a sword. She grabbed onto it with her hands and began to chew at it rather viciously, as if she was trying to grind down her teeth a bit.

Soul looked at Margy a moment as she leaped from her slumber. He blinked and echoed her words. "Stick?" It didn't really sink in until after she rushed him yelling the word over and over again that she meant the stick he had been using as a sword. She clamped unto it a moment before he could pull his hand away, so on reaction, he dropped it and jumped back, looking wild-eyes at the hamster. "Margy?!" He shouted, fully aware that Stephenie probably woke up after the shouting of Stick. It was then he noticed the hamster still had her eyes very much closed, but blinking wildly - in a dream state. He turned to Stephenie with a helpless look on his face - it was rather hysterical looking.

"GAH!" Stephanie shouted, as she lept up from sleep. "Margy, what is it, what's wrong!?" She asked panicly, just as Soul was doing the same. But once again, Margy had been sleeping. With a huge, broken exhale, Stephanie picked herself up and dusted her pants off. "Jeez...." She said in confused exasperation. "How the heck can her family SLEEP with that....?" After a quick head flick, she noticed Soul looking at her, a bit helplessly. She only answered with a nervous chuckle, before scratching the back of her head. "So, how's the watch so far?" It was a feeble attempt to make some sort of conversation, but after all that she knew her heart wouldn't let her sleep until it stopped jumping around.

"Nothing to report, except my only weapon is currently being eaten. I feel like giving her a quick thwack on the head, but I can't bring myself to do it." He muttered darkly, but it's undertone was easy to denote that he was merely speaking in jest. "We're pretty defense less as it would seem, regardless of a stick. Perhaps we should have thought this through more, even though we are far enough away from Chaos now." He said. He didn't mention that Chaos would appear very near their current location tomorrow afternoon after Sonic took on Eggman, but seeing as this wasn't a game, he wasn't sure what Chaos did when he wasn't with the mad doctor.

Stephanie gave a small chuckle as she looked back at Margy, who was knawing on the stick Soul had reffered to his 'weapon.' She was alright as he talked about them being helpess, until he mentioned Chaos might show up. "Y-You think he's show up here?" She said with a large swell of fear. As he mentioned his being far away, she seemed to become less fearful on the outside, but on the inside she was a huge storm of what if's...
What if Eggman shows up? What if part of Chaos comes into the forest like in Sonic X? What if the robots come back? What if-Whatif..."

Her stomache was in knots now....every sound now seemed to cause more and more feer to go into her... In a feeble attempt to comfort herself, she teetered over towards Soul and sat by where he was. "Man...it sure is dark here now......" She said as she hugged her legs.

"Eh, I can see fine, but then again, I am slightly nocturnal. Margy's species here can see in the dark, but I'm not sure if that really carries over. I don't think you are color blind, like almost all dogs." He explained. He decided to finally sit down and leaned back, slightly bored. "Have you noticed it yet?" He asked, wondering a simple question he had thought of earlier. He wasn't going to say what it was, because the realization of something on that grand of scale was... a horrid feeling, to be sure. "If you don't know what I'm on about, I won't say. It'll come to you with time, I'm sure." He said mysteriously. HE regretted bringing it up in the first place, but the fact of the matter is that misery loves company.

At first Stephanie merley looked at Soul in a look of confusion, her head tilted slightly with her ear cocked up, as most dogs did. "Hm...." She said thoughtfully, squinting forward at the sky. With realization, her ears drooped down, and she burried her chin slightly between her knees.
"If you mean the fact that I may not be able to see anyone again......yeah, I have...." She turned her head slightly, thinking of Margy when they were on the tram, as she tried to cheer the brown dog up. "That's what I was crying about.....that's what...." She trailed off, burying her chin deeper, tears starting to fall down her cheeks. "I'm sorry......I don't deserve to cry.....when you've had to deal with it longer than I have....." She sniffed slightly, using one finger to wipe her nose.

Soul smiled and looked at the sky, whose stars were nothing like that of those on Earths. Earth's familiar stars... He missed them. He did miss his family, as well, but to be alone on a planet where even the stars aren't the same... that's the realization he had come to his second night here when he lay underneath them. It caused a great sadness in him, which while he wouldn't tell, led to some pretty bad decisions in a self-destructive fury. Sense, however, he got himself back on his feet before he went to far, and decided merely to live life. He would admit to the fact that he did dream that friends or family or someone would join him here, but not recently. As he heard Stephenie relate to him her story, he waved it off, "It's good to cry, I think." Was all he said at first, before admitting, "I don't cry." He muttered.

The sound of chewing continued to a little bit longer, before the sound of a snap could be heard. And it was the sound of the snap, that woke Margy up. Not the screaming or her falling from the tree--or even the taste of bark in her mouth--the simple sound of the stick she was chewing on snapping, causing her to stir from her rather crazy slumber.
"Hiquuu?" Margy asked, before spitting out the bark and staring at the stick. ".....hiqquuuu?" she tilted her head to the side. "What was Margy doing--was margy sleep--something again?" she asked. Apparently she had done it once before. At least, it seemed that way from the question she had just asked.

"You stole my stick and started gnawing on it. Nothing much. Go back to sleep. You two, Steph." Soul said. "My watch isn't nearly done, and you guys need your sleep for the day ahead." He related. The world wasn't as big as Earth, but the point was that they couldn't run circles around it like a certain hedgehog, but he had a feeling tomorrow would be a busy and hectic day.

Stephanie smiled and nodded slightly, giving her nose another wipe with her finger before standing up and walking back to the tree. "Night Soul..." Stephanie said, sitting down on her legs. "And Soul," She added slowly. "Thanks for being around...." With a small sigh of contentment, mainly from the prospect of being able to go back to sleep, Stephanie began to roll herself in a little ball. She stopped though, and merley lay on herside and used the dipping part of it's stump as a head prop, much like she did at home with her mountain of pillows or a headrest.... Feeling almost at home in this small gesture, she calmly went back to sleep, a small tear still visible in her eye.

Margy tilted her head to the side and blinked once again, she blinked a few more times, before staring down at the stick she had chewed in half.
"Hiiquuuu?" she questioned. "Really???" she pondered about it a bit more, before blinking once again.
It wasn't that she didn't believe Soul, she wouldn't put it past her--she had done weirder things in her sleep. So--it could be possble.
"hmmmm---OTAY!!!!" she squealed out a second later and began to dig a shallow hole. Running around the circle for a moment, before curling up in the hole like a normal hamster would and falling asleep.

Soul was standing by now, and he continued to watch Margy a moment before simply stating, "You don't have to act like a hamster, you just... are one." He tried, but decided it was fruitless. As the eldest one among the, he was almost certain sometimes she was quite mad, but that didn't stop her from enjoying herself. He left the area fro a couple minutes in search of a new stick - to help him keep his mind occupied. If he wasn't multitasking, he would surely fall asleep. He returned around five minutes later with a bigger stick then last time, and started waving it around. It was as long as the broom at home, but slightly heavier. He wasn't an expert on wood, but it seemed like a smaller branch of this wood would be great for a whip, so he decided it to be some sort of yew, if such trees on this planet existed.
