((At least his extreme mood swings make sure they never get bored, yes? xD I love Rora and Celestine. They are just so off and... and yeah. *is a doof*))

Pale shoulders visibly sank as the other explained himself, dark eyes blinking slightly for a moment before he let his mouth close. He really had been about to be quite... loud. Still, though, he was rather wary of the other. He glanced back from Remy and to Nic and then back to the djinn once more, his expression slightly skeptical. The flush of heated anger hadn't quite left his cheeks and they stood out quite brightly from the rest of his smooth, milky-pale perfection. A small frown tugged at the corners of his lips as he finally turned to fully face the genie.

"What sort of... contact?" he asked, his tone wary. It was quite evident that, though the other was asking for trust, Aurora did not at all feel safe around the other -- particularly if he had to... touch him or something. It was just... just... Aurora didn't want those sorts of touches.

Remy's shoulders rose in the gesture of an innocent shrug. His naturally playful nature was practically begging to be released once again, but only by his willpower, perfected over the centuries, was he able to bite back his teasing comments. "I need to make a connection with the magical aura on you," he explained. "The closer I am, the easier it will be." Of course, the djinn could have used this method on any one of the people in the room as they all had been around the wizard. Not that he would tell Aurora that little fact. He would much rather close in on the blondie prince.

Despite Aurora's withdrawn posture, Remy stepped up just in front of him. "No 'dirty' contact, if that's what you were thinking," he said, unable to stop the corner of his lip from quirking the slightest bit. "Just a close enough proximity to where I can catch the trail.. Of course, the former option could be arranged if that's what you wished."

But before he could receive too harsh a scolding for such a comment, he asked, "May I begin?"

((Because I'm evil and I love Remy, Rora's concent to this means acceptance to his proximity, which ends the protection spell. 'Coz I love Remy.... and because we haven't seen any Indi for quite a while... 8D;; ))

His face flaming up in perfect shades of pink and crimson, the prince's shoulders raised. "I-I--what--no--!!" he stammered, his dark eyes wide. "No, please I do not wa--- I---what? Oh, I suppose...." He was obviously not in the clearest frame of mind when surprised as such. "I--I suppose... we had best... start," he replied slowly, his shoulders relaxing slightly, though he still looked highly wary of the other. Dark Amethyst hues glanced over to Nic for a scant moment -- he seemed to do that a lot when he was nervous and the sight of the other certainly seemed to calm him at least somewhat -- before the dark orbs settled slowly upon Remy. Pale brows furrowed over near black orbs, that small, adorable frown still pulling at his lips, his cheeks slightly flushed. He really didn't know how such visions might affect others -- in fact, he was entirely clueless that anything he might do could attract such attentions; he had always thought that it was only ever his mother's doing.

((Sorry for how short this is. @_@;; ))

(Remy: WHOO *molests Rora*
XD ))

Remy's eyes followed Aurora's for the first time to take in the knight which stood by, ever-patient. At least, 'patient' would be what one would think if taking only a quick glance at him. With his ever inspecting gaze, the djinn noticed the knitted crease of flesh between his brows, the tightened lip, the somewhat scowling eyes, the stiff posture. In short, Nic didn't look at all happy. While he believed himself to be able to gauge both Indi's and Aurora's temper level thus far, he had yet to see the dark-haired man lose himself. Maybe it was only a matter of time..?

But why care over such trivial matters when he was just given consent to be near the prince? "This won't take too long," Remy said, closing the distance between them to the point to where they were standing chest to chest. Before Aurora would be given the chance to reel away, he wrapped one around around his slender waist and placed his other hand on the blonde's cheek, just where he had gotten the cut from the ice shard. If this wasn't enough, he tilted his head down to press his forehead against Aurora's own.

'All the better to see those deliciously sweet cheeks of yours, my dear,,' he thought coyly in his mind.

"Now, you're going to have to relax, and as hard as it may be, just try to trust me," he said.

"R-right," the prince stammered, the bright flush still on his cheeks. He felt... he felt nervous and... and he was a bit afraid of what the genie might do, but.... but he had to trust him, right? -- well, he didn't have to but he wanted to get rid of Algernon or whatever that stupid elf's name was or... well, he just didn't want to be kidnapped and he supposed that whatever Remy might do could not be nearly so bad as what the elf man would have if Mint hadn't been there..... Dark eyes once against sought out to meet the gaze of the knight -- he really did look over at Nic quite a lot, didn't he? Perhaps it was just because Nic was the first non-fairy that Aurora felt he could really trust. Nic was his friend and... the blonde needed friends when he was unsure, as he was now.

But Aurora couldn't help but jump slightly, dark eyes wide, as the genie suddenly closed the distance between them. He had, in fact, been about to step away -- only to find his way barred by a hand at his waist. Amethyst eyes fell before they quickly rose again as he felt a hand on his chest, the emotion in them flickering from surprise to embarrassment to -- he didn't even know any more. His skin was prickling slightly where Remy was touching it and he couldn't help the bright flush that seeped into his cheeks -- and even to his neck and his ears. "W-what--" he began, quite obviously flustered and not at all sure what to do. He really was quite hopeless in such situations.... He felt the other's forhead press against his own and his dark eyes squeezed close, wanting, at the very least, to not have to see the other as he tried to shrink away -- and failed due to Remy's arm still being in place.

"R-relax?!" he demanded incredulously, though his volume did not escalate to its usual angered pitch. "H-how the hell am I supposed to relax?!" But still, he did try.... it was the best he could to even manage to lower his shoulders even slightly, but he did it and... but he couldn't manage any more than that. He was simply too tightly wound and too flustered....

If he wasn't so amused by the fact that Aurora's already warm skin heated even further with his touch, Remy would have thought the feeling to be pleasant. Especially after so long alone in a cold lamp. It wasn't so much that he couldn't keep the insides of his 'home' warm by means of magic. Simply that he often lacked the will power to even try. When it came to periods reaching over a hundred years at a time, one would often lose the interest in common comforts.

But how a loss in interest could be possible when in the outside world, holding a delicate prince in his arms, was beyond him. As much as he enjoyed simply holding the boy's body to his own, he was there to do a job, after all. Where his hand touched, a cerulean blue color began to glow against both palm and cheek. If his eyes were still open, Remy may have found the time to comment on how nicely the blue complimented the pink of Aurora's blushing cheeks.

"You may begin to feel weak, but it's just a part of the procedure," Remy said, his face a mask of concentration. His arm tightened around the prince's waist with the warning, but very much without warning, the djinn lowered his lips to connect with Aurora's. Almost immediatly, the prince could probably feel a strikingly cold, tingling feeling running up through his throat and out his mouth, into Remy's own.

Aurora's dark eyes opened as he felt... something. There was a blue glow in the other's hand and... it was strange. Unsure amethyst hues glanced from the hand and then up to the other's face, seeing the color shining brightly there. It was... it was a pretty color, almost eerie, but... but it was pretty and Aurora had to stop his thoughts from wandering. This was supposed to be serious and he should be trying to relax, but...

The other's words snapped him out of that train of thought and he had begun to nod to show that he understood -- though he really didn't like the idea of becoming weak around the perverted genie, the blue light and the more than a hint of magic had made the prince take Remy a bit more... seriously.

And then the other's lips met his and Aurora didn't know why but he felt a sudden, striking cold and though he didn't even like Remy in the least and thought the man -- genie, whatever -- was a stupid pervert, the shivers that ran up his spine moved him closer to the other. He didn't even notice that his body had moved closer -- all he knew was that it was cold and Remy wasn't letting him escape and... and he hated being kissed, he really did. It made his cheeks flame up too much and made him feel hot even though it was cold and... and too many people had kissed him in the prince's life time without even asking.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 18, 2007 4:18 pm

If Remy thought he was thrilled by the contrast of the flaming heat of Aurora's skin compared to the chilling air passing through their mouths, he was in for quite the surprise when the prince trembled all the closer to him. Rather unnecessarily, Remy deepened the kiss, but as if the magic were on his side, the tingling increased almost to the point of a pleasant numbness to show he didn't solely have the purpose of perversion.

But after several seconds, which could have lasted much longer, so thought the djinn, Remy's jerked his head away from the prince. Between their inches of separation, a small orb of light, the same cerulean blue as the previous color, hung in the air. It glowed all the brighter for a split second before lunging past the genie's still parted lips who released Aurora to stumble back a step or two. With a wince, he gripped at his chest.

".. Strong magic.." he gasped.

Remy was right in picking out Nic's annoyance with the situation. The first thing he thought when the djinn proposed the idea was 'SCAM!' And sure there was some glowing lights and it looked as if Aurora's was being affected somehow, but he still couldn't bring himself to believe the whole kiss thing was necessary. But even with these thoughts, he forced himself to believe this was for the best. After all, they probably couldn't risk another meeting with that wizard.

Watching every second of the ordeal, Nic was beyond ready to rush forward after Remy backed away to give Aurora a helping hand. He seemed less than concerned about the djinn's condition than the prince's. "Aurora, are you alright?" he asked, tone afflicted with worry.

He didn't like it. He didn't -- he hated it and Remy was pulling closer and... and it was cold. In the same instant with Remy withdrew, Aurora hastilly pushed the other away from himself, turning away from the genie. He looked relieved, winded and slightly disgusted, his face a bright patchwork of pink. He couldn't help that the kiss had made his heart beat faster -- that was natural, right? Of course it was. Really, he was more disgusted with himself for having allowed the other to act in such a horribly.... horrible manner. Aurora really could not think straight at the moment.

The prince stumbled slightly and in a moment Nic was there, helping the boy steady himself. "Th-thanks..." he stammered. But there was something wrong. Aurora was shivering, shivering all over as if the cold from his throat had seeped all through his body -- and, in fact, it did. He had been around too much strong magic in recent times -- the teleportation spell and now this were, of course, the strongest. The prince had no magical aptitude himself, but works of magic, particularly when many of them were performed, had always affected him somewhat strangely and a bit too strongly to be normal.

He did feel weak, as Remy had predicted, but more than that a bone-numbing chill had spread through his limbs. "I-it's c-c-c-cold...." he stammered slowly to his brown-haired friend. His pale skin was now quite undeniably frigid.

This was exactly what Nic meant when he said he hated magic. Feeling the effects of Aurora's trembling body vibrating up his arm, he pulled the prince to himself in the meager attempt to warm him. Breaking through the worry for the young blonde, the knight's eyes looked almost fierce as they shot back up to the djinn. "What did you do to him?" he demanded, sounding nothing like the oh-so kind man he had been up until now. If he was of the right mind, he would have surprised even himself. But seeing his chilled friend so weak set him far from realizing much save for his worry for Aurora and the extent of his temper.

Having found the back of a chair to rest his own tired body against, Remy simply shook his head at the knight's directed anger. "I had warned him about the weakening state he would be in," he replied. "However, why he's being affected so severely is beyond me. I cou--"

"No, just forget it," the genie was harshly interrupted. "You've done enough damage to last a lifetime already." And without waiting for a response, though it didn't look as if he were going to get one, and without asking for consent, Nic scooped Aurora into his arms and stormed back through the corridor and back into the prince's room. With both the strength of his training and the light build of Aurora, it was an easy task to pull down the blankets of the boy's overly soft bed while still securely holding the prince in the his free arm. And as a complete opposite reflection of his previously angered appearance, Nic was more than gentle while placing Aurora under the sheets.

"Rest easy. I won't let that genie get anywhere near you," the knight said, kneeling at the bedside. "Is there anything I can get you? Maybe have a servant bring up some hot tea or cocoa?"

Back in the other room, Remy sighed and slipped into the chair he had been leaning on. "Hey, Rem. Thanks so much for helping me track down the evil psycho who's trying to kill me," he said to himself. "Oh, no problem. Don't mention it. More than happy to help."

Nic wasn't the only one out of sorts. Had Aurora been his normal self, he would have been utterly disgusted with the way he was acting. Not only did he not at all complain when Nic scooped him up, he even clung to the man. He was too weak and too cold to think much of anything through. Frigid little icicle fingers curled around the fabric of the knight's shirt as the prince leaned in, burrying his face against the other's chest. So... so cold. So frieking cold and... oh gods, he was tired. He hadn't felt tired in over a year -- he'd always fallen asleep before he had the chance to feel tired. And even then, he had only on rare occasions -- very rare occasions -- felt this tired. It happened sometimes when the magic residue was too great for his body. Aurora had been bred for blood purity, beautiful looks, and a body that was completely devoid of magic. Quite often, this all back fired upon the currently quite helpless prince.

It didn't even register in his mind that Nic was angry -- he'd never seen the man get angry before, not even when he himself had thrown quite the heavy tantrum at the knight. Then again, he hadn't known Nic very long at all. Still, though, he didn't have the attention to notice such things at the moment.

And then he was laid peacefully, gently in his bed... his horrid, pink, but extremely comfortable, bed. He shook his head at the offer. He didn't want those things. And Nic might leave anyway to go fetch them. As that thought occured to the prince, pale arms suddenly reached forward, their hands quickly clasping around the other's arms. He was weak, true, but strong enough to pull the other at least slightly closer. The blond shivered but hung on. Nic was warm and Aurora didn't want him to leave....

Nic didn't resist the prince's pull making it all the easier for him to be tugged closer. He wasn't sure why he didn't at least somewhat prevent the tugging. Shock from Aurora's strange behavior. Not only that, but also wanting to be of whatever help he could to the prone prince. It was an awkward position for him, in the traditional kneeling stance, while being embraced in such a way. Also awkward in a sense that he didn't know if he should return that embrace or not. Would he be resented for it? he wondered. Letting his other knee drop to the floor, the knight timidly placed a hand on the middle of Aurora's back.

While he may have been warm before, his body temperature was sure to have increased with the situation. There was an obvious blush tinting Nic's cheeks as he held the boy, offering quiet encouragements such as 'It's going to alright' and 'I'm here'. All the while, he wondered what Aurora would think after this whole thing was over. However horrid it may be, he would rather have this over with sooner rather than later.

"I'm not going anywhere," he said softly, being so close to the prince. "Just try to relax. Sleep.. You'll feel better then."

Nic was... warm. He was warm, very warm -- so very, very warm compared to the prince's chilled skin. He clung tighter, pulling the other closer. Nic wasn't protesting, either, which prompted him further -- until, somehow despite the blond's dwendling strength, he had managed to drag the other on top of the bed (most likely due to assistance from the knight himself). Pale arms reached out to cling greedily onto the source of warmth and comfort and... and reasurance. Nic's presence was very... soothing.

Arms wrapped tightly around the other's back, his face burried in the knight's chest, Aurora shook his head furvently. "N-no... I... I don't want to... sleep....."

((Sorry it's short. Dx ))
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2007 6:37 pm

Finding himself suddenly on top of the bed, all the closer to the smaller, shivering body, Nic found himself pulling his arm tighter around him. After all, he was looking for warmth and a comforting friend, right? The knight was simply trying to provide where needed. But still yet, he couldn't help but feel as if he shouldn't be doing this while the prince was so vulnerable, though technically he wasn't really doing anything. He had a feeling, however, he would get chewed out for letting this happen later.

'Oh well.. As long as he's ok now,' he thought, looking down at the top of his blonde head of hair.

"Alright then," he said in the most understanding tone as he could manage in their position. No hot drink, no sleep. If he could somehow transfer his own body heat fully into Aurora, he would, but other than that, Nic didn't know what to do but to hold him. "Aurora.. are you sure this is ok?"

But Nic should have known. Aurora was stubborn, he was quite openly childish and hardly ever had any forsight. He hated to sleep -- he really did. His body got too much of it and there were too many lengthy periods during which he found himself suddenly engulfed in that deep blackness without even dreams to keep him company. What happened to his physical self during that time was a complete mystery -- no matter how he was battered and beaten, while he was asleep he would remain asleep until woken with a kiss. Aurora hated that so, so much -- hated having no control over himself while he slept.

"S-sure... what's... okay...?" he mumbled back, voice muffled by the material of the other's shirt.
