"You don't understand, do you?" Seto said, irritated. "The pharaoh can and will find Bakura. He'll kill him, too. And since you've become known as being with him, you'll be sought out by other thieves to be killed because you pose a threat to them. Civilians don't want to house a known criminal, since the palace has put a price out for you. And the palace, the best place you'll get is a cell. So you've got nowhere to be."

Bakura had left, of course, soon after he found Rei gone. He didn't head for the palace, though. After grabbing what he would need, food and water, he put his coat on and got on his horse. He went back to that damned place, that sanctuary of his. Kul Elna. He could faintly see the ghosts, focused, and was able to see the wisps more clearly. Getting off of his horse, he stretched out a hand towards one, feeling the chill of the ghost. He passed the crumbled buildings and went to the one in the best condition, which he made sure he kept in good shape. He went downstairs, and crossed the room to the tablet. His tablet. The cursed tablet that connected this world to the next. He ran his fingers along the inside of the holes that could hold the Millennium Items, and he lay down on it, his coat fanning out on the cold stone. He closed his eyes, and fell into an uneasy, light sleep knowing that he was going to dream of his childhood.

Seto lazily flicked a brown lock of hair from his forehead, resting his cheek against the cold metal of his Millennium Rod. His sharp blue eyes watched Rei as she walked, not being able to help the thoughts that buzzed in his mind. Was this how people were going to act in the future, even if he wasn't able to see it? Why would she want to stay here, in this time? What had caused her to arrive here? Why did she stay with Bakura? He voiced none of these musings, however.

Isis was standing next to the door, leaning against the wall, looking relatively bored. She glanced up when the door rattled, but didn't open. All doors had two locks on them, from the pharaoh's orders, one that could lock it from the inside and one that could lock it from the outside. When Seto had gone inside, Isis had locked it from the outside, so that neither could leave until Seto instructed her to unlock it.

Rei couldent help but growl slightly.Kneeling down she started to look over the lock,studying it.

Seto watched her with mild interest, but was starting to get bored. All they needed her was to draw Bakura out from wherever he was hiding. They had extracted the information they had needed earlier with the Millennium Eye.

Soon a grin spread threw her face as she ran her hand threw her hair.She door out two picks and started to pick the lock.There was a click and rei grinned trying the door agian.

Seto, of course, didn't like the grin that had spread over Rei's face and had gotten to his feet as she turned towards the lock with something in her hands. Before Rei would be able to pick the lock, he grabbed her arm and pulled her away. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Seto growled slightly and put his arms around Rei's waist, so that he could get a better grip on her, and dragged her over to the bed. "Like hell if you are."
