So, those two girls are also perspective brides? This is going to get difficult, they're both beautiful. Zabuza thought, looking each female over carefully. The blond looked away from his gaze, but the red head met his with one of her own, no fear or shyness in her eyes. She is no virgin. he thought with a bit of a smirk, then thought about testing that later. Seeing that Haku was leaving the garden, he gave Nasake and the females a nod before following.

"Those ladies were pretty!" Aiime murmured as they tugged Haku off to another part of the garden.
"They were so close to daddy, too..." Shinta added, giving a glance behind them.
"Well, since they are also prospective brides, they want him to favor them over anyone else." Haku explained to the girls. He paused them in their walk as his pet was wandering around on the walkway ahead of them. Letting go of the girls' hands, he walked ahead, crouched down, and lifted the rabbit, giving a smile to the twins, who were staring at him with wide eyes. "Do you two want to pet him?" he offered, crouching down so they could reach it.

"Those two woman are the type to ship you bra...kids off to a school far away so she could have your daddy and his money all to herself." Zabuza said and leaned against the wall. "Lady Hakuhyou happens to love kids...probably would spoil you more than you already are." He looked over at Haku, knowing that it's something that would be true. He was too kind hearted sometimes.

Haku flinched slightly when Zabuza looked to him. He was already being too soft with the kids... When the twins were done paying attention to his pet, he kept it close to his chest as they started walking some more.

While they were still in the garden, the red head from earlier came back, heading straight for Haku. She gave him a sweet smile and grabbed his arm. "My, what a cutie you are. Too bad you have absolutly no chance with Lord Nasake. You should just run along to whatever hole you came out of and let a real woman have him." her grip tightened. "I'm asking nicely this time, I won't the second."

Haku's eyes narrowed on the redhead. "I'm assuming you mean yourself?" he asked in reply, raising an eyebrow. He showed a little pain in his features, even though the grip on his arm was childs-play compared to what he'd gone through. "This is no competition, so there is no need to act Hostile, Lady Chihiru. It would be better to use your brains and not go assaulting the other women to get what you want... it's un-ladylike."

Her eyes narrowed. "I don't know what pathetic family you come from, but I'd bet that you need this marriage for a different reason than I do. Are you really who you say you are, or are you just a low life off the streets? As for being un-ladylike, that's impossible for me. I've been to the best schools there are; I'm perfect."
Zabuza still only watched, waiting to see how Haku would handle things on his own. He'd step in if things got worse.

Haku smirked. "There's no such thing as perfect. I've learned that, sometimes... even the most education you give a person can't always get rid of their flaws." I'm too soft... despite everything we've been through... "Now, if you would kindly release my arm. I believe the children would like to move on." he looked Lady Chihiru in the eyes, a smirk still on his lips.

"We'll find out who's the better in the end, now won't we?" She released his arm and gave him another sneer. "It's not the children that matter, but the man." she said before turning and walking away, face tilted up.
Zabuza just shook his head as he watched her go. That b***h has got things compleatly wrong. No one one would put up with a woman like that, not even me.

She's wrong. A father will listen to his children above anyone else. Win the children over, win the father. Haku thought, watching her leave. He blinked when he felt a tug on his sleeve.
"Lady Hakuhyou... does it hurt?" Aiime asked, looking a little upset as she looked to Haku's arm.
"That Lady's a meanie." Shinta pouted, her arms crossed over her chest.
"I'm fine." Haku smiled. "Nothing a little ice won't fix..." He gave a slight chuckle as he started getting dragged off by the twins to the kitchen.

Zabuza nodded to himself as they headed for the kitchen. This insident had worked in their favor, something the red head wouldn't realize until she was the one being rejected. Had this happened under different circumstances, that woman would have been dead as soon as she'd grabbed his arm.

When they arrived to the kitchen, the twins went to get some ice while Haku sat down. He'd set his pet down on the floor before rolling up the sleeves of the one arm. There were some hand-shaped bruises, but it didn't seem to bother him. "We'll have to be cautious around her... She'll want to remain as close to the Lord as possible." he murmured quietly to Zabuza.

"You could take care of her with one senbon, I'm not worried." Zabuza said back, equally quiet. "We need to think of a way to get her away from him for awhile...maybe the girls can help with that." He gently lifted Hakus arm that had been grabbed and frowned at the bruises. "I think if you 'accidently' let the Lord see these, he'll get rid of her for us."

"I think the twins'll let him know about them before I even would have a chance of showing him." Haku murmured in reply, then gave off a smile as the twins returned. They pouted when they saw the bruises, and handed up a baggy of ice with a towel around it. "Thank you, girls." Haku took the ice from them and smiled, shifting to put the ice on the bruise.

Not really knowing why he did it, Zabuza put a hand on each of the girls head, like he still does with Haku, and gave them a small smile. "Yes, thank you for helping my Lady." The adorable twins were not starting to get to him...or so he told himself.
