Haucon cocked his head toward this sarcastic and caustic personality. "Nice to meet you Violet, I think.." he said. "I'm Haucon, a fairy, fae if you prefer..." he smirked a bit back at her. "As for how I got here, I took a bad step in the Fairy Portals, which happen to run parallel to this city's subway system, and got sucked through a crack into this world. Not the most pleasant experiance I could hope for you. Now if you'd do me the same honor?" he asked.

Vanessa laughed, then looked to Violet. "Actually, no. I was going to call my mother." Vanessa said, grinning. Then she looked back to the man. "I haven't been to the Sacred Realm yet, but my mother lives there. When I die, I will go up there, and when she dies, I will take over her position as the Great Fairy of Magic. I assume you have seen my mother before, almost everyone has. Have you not?" Vanessa said.

Violet's smirk became a grin, her completly green gaze staring at him with keen interest. "I'm here because of the war, its my job to kill and manipulate, the fact i'm going to be killed because of it is a little bit of a negative but otherwise this is work for me," she explained, flicking back her long black hair. As she spoke her long slender fingers wrapped around the handle of her rapier, that was hanging innocently by her hip.

Haucon looked between Vanessa and Violet, they couldn't be more different. "No." he said to Vanessa, "I've never seen your mother, but then again I didn't pay attention much."
He watched Violet's hand move to her hip, This chick is a loaded gun...he thought. He looked over his shoulder at Leila and another boy. They seemed at least more relaxed. Haucon was tensing up a bit, he took another drag on his cigarette, trying to ease up a bit, meanwhile he slid his other hand into his pocket and got hold of the dagger he had there. She'd be quicker on the draw, but he was accurate he knew, but he hoped he wouldn't have to.

Vanessa coughed quietly when smoke puffed from the man's cigarrete. "I'm afraid I didn't catch your name." Vanessa said politely, coughing again.

Seeing him ove for his own weapons Violet smirked again, almost in a approving way. "You could survive in a fight, but these cigarrete's will kill you, promise me you won't quit, most intelligent beings have become so health concious these days," she told him, sighing dramatically for effect. Catching Vanessa's question she turned back to him, "Yes, what is your name anyway?" she asked, her head tilted on an unnatural angle.

He was taken back a bit by both their reactions. "Oh. Sorry." he said. "I'm Haucon...Nice to meet you." he was very puzzled and didn't let go of his dagger. He finished his cigarette and dropped it on the ground stamping it out with his foot in the sand.

Violet wished she could roll her eyes, humans had always been good at exspressing annoyance. her emerald eyes flashed a little before she replied, "Nice to meet you too....never though i'd say that, i'm hanging around with far too many moral people," shaking her head in dismay she sat back down on the cave floor. Crossing her legs she looked up at him, "So? are you just going to stand there?" she asked, leathery bat like wings arching a little.

"Yes, obviously, you may sit." Vanessa said, indicating a spot on the floor next to herself. "So, may I ask if you have an occupation?" Vanessa questioned. "If that's personal, then I understand if you don't want to answer."

((um...he was already sitting, and he had already introduced himself...but ok...)) Haucon sat down with his legs in front and his elbows on his knees, arms relaxed. He looked at Vanessa. "No actually I'm not employed, cause fairies, or at least ones like me, are good at illusions." He reached in his pocket and pulled out a hundred dollar bill handing it to Vanessa. "Feels like real eh?" he asked. It melted into sand in her hand. "You see?" he asked laughing.

Vanessa had a surprised look on her face when the bill became sand. Then she laughed. "Very interesting." Suddenly, the pitter-patter of rain in the ceiling of the cave stopped, and the cloudy sky cleared up again. Vanessa stood up, and poked her head outside into the clear, now warm weather. "We can go outside now, unless, Violet, you prefer to stay here do to your eyes." She offered.

Violet sighed and stared at her. "I may be sensitive to light but i'm not a vampire. Hell's Bell's i knew i shouldn't muck around with you lot for so long," she snarled. Abruptly she stood and strode out of the cave. Taking off her sunglasses as if to prove that she could handle the sunlight. With a quick beat of her wings she was airborne, then she settled in a high tree, away from the others.

"I guess we're back to the Ice Queen stage..." Vanessa muttered. She walked outside herself, and sat on a rock near the shorline. "I thought you'd had at least gotten a little more reasonable..." She mumbled.

Haucon chose to stay in the cave a bit longer. He looked at Leila, "So, how bout you?" he asked. "How'd you get here?" he smiled gently. It was much more relaxing now that the tension from the other two had dissipated. He offered his hand to the other boy. "Hi. Haucon. Nice to meet you." he said formally.

"I just...found myself here, to...avenge my own death somewhat..." she answered, not knowing what else to say. "I haven't been a demon for very long though...maybe only about 6 human years," she guessed, knowing that time in hell probably passed a lot slower than on the human realm. Leila fidgeted a bit, seeming extremely embarrassed about something, her own eyes averted from his and fixed on something on the ground.
