Kyla walked through the sewers, holding her nostrils shut to keep out the smell. She hated every second she spent down there, but she had no choice it seemed. She walked on the side ledge the entire time, making sure to keep out of the sewage.

Jason followed the young woman into the sewer, staying close yet hidden. After about ten minutes he spoke to her in a quiet voice, 'It's not safe here, Ma'am. Come back this way. ' He instinctively reached to his right pistol, keeping his eye on the young female.

Kyla spun around swiftly, losing her balance so that she began to fall towards the water. She tried desperately to right herself, but it didn't work. She fell in with a splash, making tears fall from her eyes as she sobbed. "As if I needed this!" she cried, standing up as the water dripped off of her form. "And what is it that was so important as to drench me in s**t?!" she asked a bit angrily.

Jason sighed, running up to pull her from the foul liquid. Once she was back on the ledge, he held out his hand. 'Sorry, didn't mean to make you fall in,' he said, 'And, like I said, it's not safe here.'

'Sorry, didn't mean to make you fall in,' he said, 'And, like I said, it's not safe here.' "It wasn't safe in my gravesite either....." she muttered, still feeling the stress of her turning. "Well...If you're so worried about my well-being....perhaps you could accompany me?....I don't know anything about the underground...." she said, hoping that Jason would be the one person in the city who would help her.
