"I wish.. she was never a one night feed"
He admitted, none too happy about it.
"And she found out about Alexis a while ago"
Once again, he studied Raven. Sure, she deserved an explanation, but did she really deserve an explanation of what really transpired between him and the demoness?

"Jesus..."
She shook her head, resting it against her fist, the same one that had been toying with the knife.
"Why does that sound like hell just walked through the door?"
She didn't like that this demoness knew about Alexis.

He shrugged. He had no idea why his short answer had sounded like it.
"Maybe because you hoped that she was only a one nighter?"
He challenged her, at the same time wondering why she'd care who he slept with or how many times. As far as he knew, she had lost her memory and had found Jay as a source of happiness in her life.

She raised a brow. A challenge. One she'd asked herself too many times when she'd been at home.
"Forgive me for making sure that Alexis' father is going to continue being alive to continue watching her. Considering people are still hiding crap from me, I might as well keep playing stupid, not know anything and ignore everything."
She kept her voice cool when she wanted nothing more then destroy something. That was how she mostly ran. Keep cool when you simply wanted to scream.
"Oh wait...that's right. I already do play like no one's hiding anything from me..."

"Fine, we're all hiding something from you, its one big conspiracy against you"
He was loosing his calm, and rather faster than she was. Today wasn't his day, something the demoness had proven to him already. Why his mind fled back to her image, he didn't know, nor why, for a split second, he wished to be back in time when she was looking after him.
"What exactly do you want to know, Raven?"
He challenged. He wasn't the one who'd run to him with bad news asking for a vague explanation of something he couldn't tell her after all.

"I want you to stop hiding s**t from me that involves Alexis. Especially if this demon feels threatened by her."
She went cold then. It beat screaming. It wasn't either of their day. She didn't even meet Dom and she was already annoyed by the female.
Arioch poked his head then and blinked. "If I had a knife, I swear I could cut the tension in here..."

"Dom doesn't feel threatened by Alexis"
He explained, still not admitting to the one thing he was hiding from Raven in regards to Alexis. Without thought, he swung his fist at Arioch. He wanted to cut the tension in this room? He could handle being punched by Joe then.
He was sick of this. Unable to tell Raven he loved her because of an inability to love, he had no other choice but to hide her motherhood from her, lest it upset her even more, both men (Arioch and Joe) had agreed on it. Admittedly, Joe's plan on letting Raven regain her memory if left with her daughter on her own hadn't worked too well, but it had been the best shot he had had at restoring her memories.

Arioch cursed and ducked back behind the wall he'd poked his nose from.
Raven snarled. Walking foreward and slapping Joe before waltzing out of the kitchen entirely. "Maybe not....but if I find out she's getting on Alexis for any reason, your a** is mine Joe Skase.."
Arioch blinked, watching her wolf tail swish in her annoyance. He nibbled on one nail, watching and not daring to poke his nose back around the corner. She wasn't getting on his case, which surprised him but he wasn't about to spill anything...
"Too bad Joe. Raven's hotter then the demons that haunt you..."

The punch went wide no thanks to Arioch reacting rather fast and moving out of Joe's range. It had been enough to relieve some of the tension in the room, and as he found out, exactly enough for him to now hold his cheek in pain.
"She's not after Alexis.. "
He growled watching her leave wondering how many others would show up today claiming that he was theirs or would be theirs if something didn't go according to their plan.
To Arioch's comment, he could only nod.
"What did you want me to tell her?"
He asked. The only thing that would have satisfied Raven, he knew, was the truth and that truth was what he was afraid of telling her for fear of the repocussions it would bring. At least, the demon(s) that haunted him he could understand and predict to some extend.
She had kept low, but had been within hearing range when Raven let loose, so now simply smiled as the girl walked almost straight past her.
"He will not be yours, girl"
Her haughty voice could be heared as she stepped out infront of Raven.

Arioch grinned. "You could have told her the truth....No one was forcing you to say I love you which is impossible."
He folded his arms and his wings.
Raven stared unblinking at the woman standing in front of her. She sighed deeply. Great, she thought. Another thorn to deal with. Yet the more she stared at Dom the more it clicked.
She perked an eyebrow and smiled sweetly. "Oh....and I suppose one his past clients is going to stop me?" Maybe she had a deathwish..maybe not. That was for others to decide. She was just sick of the secrecy.
Her tail slowed from it's swaying as she kept her hands at her sides. She noticed she was just a bit smaller in height, but if Arioch didn't intimidate her, then she wasn't going to be frightened by another demon.

"She'd have done more than simply slap me if I had told her that"
He pointed out, though admittedly, it hadn't occured to him that he could just tell her the truth without saying he loved her.
"Client?"
She laughed at that.
"My dear girl, I was never his client"
Clearly, it amused her that the girl thought Joe had that much power or influence over girls.
"You're quite taken with him, not that I blame you... he is a rather handsome demon"

Raven tossed her head back and laughed.
"You think I'm taken with him?"
She stood there and just laughed. Oh this day just kept getting better. When her laughter subsided she leashed the urge to just hit the woman in front of her.
Arioch gave him a look. "You wuss... You just got slapped for not saying anything. She just said she was sick of the secrecy..."

Something sparkled in her eyes as Raven laughed.
"Then you won't mind if I take him back with me?"
She asked, the spark in her eyes still there. She was definatly enjoying this
Joe simply shrugged. Some things were best left unsaid and he assumed that Raven would have little understanding for him having kept things quiet for this long.

Arioch turned, growled and lightly tapped his head on the wall to keep from trying to strangle his friend. When he felt he was safe, he turned a grin to Joe before he grabbed him and shook him.
"Damn it man!!! Why can't you simply say something about her?!"
Something sparkled in Raven's eyes as she grinned, a wolf's smile.
"Oh...Of course I mind...However, it's really Arioch and Alexis you have to get through in order to have Joe back with you..."
She surprised herself at how well her hands remained at her side. She was simply waiting...biding her time.

Her smile grew larger as Raven spoke.
"You do have something for my boy, how cute"
She smiled then rather cutely as though she was looking at a cute dog or something rather than at Raven, before her normal smirk showed up.
"Oh, don't worry about those two, I'm sure they won't mind if my boy returns to me, after all, he's been kind enough to get that daughter of his a slave, I'm sure he'll make a great replacement for her father"
In her eyes, there was little difference between the father in question nor his daughters present. They would both obey her if she so desired.. except for the small problem that was Arioch, but she'd find a way past him.
He wasn't too happy about Arioch grabbing him and shaking him, but there was little he could do about it as Arioch was easily the stronger of the two demons.
"Like what? That she's got a great body? Geeze.. I tell every lay that.."
She wasn't your average lay either. She was the mother of his daughter and deserved more than a simple line which would get him layed.
