A little thing that I've not been able to find any piece of clarification upon.
On the entry for the Lightning Fighter in the Apocalypse book, it states that the Autocannons have Anti-Aircraft mounts. None of the other aircraft, as I've seen it, have AA mounts. So does that mean that all aircraft roll to hit on 6s as the rules state, or is there a piece of errata that I missed somewhere?

Unless noted otherwise aircraft weapons need to roll a 6 to hit. Exception to this is the Eldar Nightwing, which has the Interceptor rule.

Grazi. This came into dispute at a game where we couldn't find anything on it and the argument was that "pilots would be trained to shoot down other planes." Eventually we diced on it and we played it correctly, but its nice to have it clarified now.

Lt. Brookman The Baneblade kit will cost €95,-- / 65 Pounds Sterling and contain the parts for building either a Baneblade or a Hellhammer tank, plus enough parts for a tank commander on foot. The Chapter Masters are sold in a boxed set of four. MOST big army deal boxes are on-line sold on-line, with the exception of the Marine company (boo!) and the Imperial Guard tank company (yay!) I used the parts for the tank commander on foot to make a commisar. And the Space Marine Company in in a boxed set now.

Brooky: Probably never... I'm not that found of it to be honest, and people here never use flyers.

I bought the Apocalypse rulebook some time back, and have mulled over the idea of having a game for some time. I enjoy the concept, and have played large 40K games in the past (some at 3000pts). Having 4 armies (Chaos, Daemonhunters, Eldar, Genestealer Cult) its not too hard for me to come up with some points! Some general questions, I had:
Is there enough balance in the game? Do you completely know what side is going to win a lot of the time? Do a lot of people just "cheese out" their armies, and walk over the competition?
My biggest issue is that you could field 12 C'tan or some such nonsense. And slowing that down would be very trying.
I'm thinking of picking up a Baneblade to assist my Genestealer Cult army... Can anyone with experience tell me if it's a good buy or not? Looks great for troop-sweeping.

Baneblades are more than worth their points. They are immensely hard to destroy, and barring Titans can deal out unparalleled amounts of firepower.
Most armies aren't cheesed because honestly, how many people own 12 C'tan? And you know what? In Apocalypse megabattles, 12 C'tan aren't the worst of your worries.
Personally, I think that Apocalypse is a lot more fun than normal 40K. But then again, I like being able to field lots of tanks, flyers, Assassins, and all sorts of crazy stuff.

It feels so much more like a full battle. Standard matches seem to be a bit...tight? I dunno. I like to be able to field wings of armored vehicles instead of just 1 or 2.

Apocalypse has the feel of being an entire battle, not just a small segment of it as with regular 40k.
