Ruby chuckled, "course I do, sugar." She bounded over the rubble, careful to keep her footing. "Do we know what all we're gonna do once we get there?" She asked glancing ahead at the city before them.

"We're gonna stop 'boundin 'round'n act more serious. Then we're gonna hope some of the other folk get out of my truck and help before it's too late." Alloran grunted, following after. He found a perch with a view, using the scope on his assault rifle to get a better look. "I can see the slave market. It seems pretty dead right now. From what I've gathered, they're gonna close in about an hour, 'round nightfall, so we gotta make this quick." Alloran started to move around, avoiding people, and trying to find a good place to free the slaves without the guards noticing.

Ruby followed after him, "So we're gonna do it before they close? Wouldn't it be easier to get ourselves outta here if we do it at night?"

"I'm guessin' they'll be lockin the slaves up all the more after hours. Right now, they'll be out in the open fer inspection and the such."

"That's true, but sug, they also have a lot more folks watchin', an' a lot of those watchin' crowd-folks are supers themselves....it ain't gonna be a pretty show." She stood her ground, watching the market in front of her. "I dunno if this will be sneaky enough....one of us is likely to get shot, an' when that happens I'll be forced to use my power, an' with that, we'll be obviously not...AoH....Speakin' of which." She took the AoH hat off her head and hid it in her jacket, realizing that it wasn't the best item of clothing to be wearing in the middle of an AoS city.

Ruby glanced back, "Ghost was pretty conked out last time I saw, an' the other redhead chick doesn't seem to be 'round...but can never tell when she is or isn't. Heh...an' it looks like Erica has walked off on us." Ruby shrugged. "We can always wait for 'em."

Silent Lucidity tapped Ruby on the shoulder, and held her finger to her lips, pointing toward a guard leaning against the wall about 50 feet away to the left.

It was nighttime, everyone had left, and the guards were out. Alloran nudged the others, motioning to the routes the guards were taking, and silently showing them to follow his lead.
Alloran began a silent movement closer to the holding cells. He used what left over debris he could to navigate around, trying to keep the route simple enough so the other two could follow, and, more importantly, so the slaves could follow them back.

Ruby nearly screamed when Silent Lucidity snuck up on her and tapped her shoulder. She was barely able to hold it back, making a duck like quack that ended in a squeak. She took a deep breath, and glanced at the guard, then back to SL, grateful the guard hadn't noticed her little outburst.
As the night fell, she followed after Alloran, her natural speed coming in use. There were a couple of times she was a little loud, but it was good enough that she resisted her natural urge to make her presence known to absolutely everyone.

Alloran snuck along to the side of one of the holding cages, whispering in. "Anyone listenin'?"

A Union City super yawned as he walked by the group of Supers, and then grabbed his keys from the table. "Heh heh..." He muttered to himself. "Wouldn't want the keys to these cages to fall into the wrong hands." He said to himself, not noticing that anyone was walking about the room. He stretched again and started to walk away.

Alloran let the guy walk away, considering sneaking up behind him and killing him, but figured he could get the cages open without the keys.
"Like I said, any slaves listenin' in there?"
"Who the hell are you?" A grumpy old man muttered, moving around as he awoke.
"Someone that could give yeh a hand, old man. Care fer it?"
