Lorenzo eeped, freezing as he suddenly couldn't see. He flailed a little under the scarf, rolling to the side until he came out from under it and, consequently, off the booth all together. He landed on the cold ground with a soft "Urt!," giving a violent shake of his head and blinking his eyes to make sure he could still see. Zoe licked his claw for a moment, making it seem as though he'd rolled off on purpose. A quick look around reassured him that no one saw. Why'd he do that in the first place? Oh right, he was blind!
Verifying that he was not in fact blind, he scrambled back up the side of the booth and plopped down by the support that held up the "Kissing Booth" sign. He watched the exchange between the women, feeling his attention starting to turn elsewhere. The Gwee liked the pink-haired woman, but he wasn't so good at sharing attention.
His eyes possibly doubled in size when he saw the green Raevan float by. What type of Gwee was that?

Cold blue eyes turned on the achingly young Frei, something painful rolling in his stomach as he heard the beginning, awkward forms of speech. He immediatly floated higher than the other, looking him over with an almost disgusted expression.
His hand raised quickly, palm open as though he were about to strike the Frei for speaking when a single name saved him.
"Rivener? No." He turned away, staring hard at the ground.
Anger was eating him up inside. Words.. he just couldn't grasp them. This Raeven was young, he could tell innately somehow. Younger than him, at least, he had to be... he'd never seen him before and Chloe had never mentioned him.
It wasn't fair. His fists clenched and the grass surrounding him frosted immediatly, withering away into death.
"No..."
Chloe blinked, looking out into the crowd. She smiled and waved as she spotted Isi, calling out to him. "H-Hello! Staying warm?"
She absently reached into her pocket, finding a peppermint. She held it up curiously, wondering why she had one, before setting it down on the kissing booth beside Zoe.

Eiry blinked innocently as the other frei floated higher and raised his hand in a threatening manner. The action didn't worry him somehow, so he simply floated hopefully beside him. When he recieved his answer, the minty frei looked lost and he glanced around as if he almost expected Rivener to jump out of the crowd and take a picture of him and try to steal his soul.
Muttering sadly, Eiry rubbed his fingers, trying to warm them from the sudden cold in the area, "I miss mine-my brother. Sad. Makes me that way, it does. Wherefore you look sad, too?"
Isi, finally hearing his friend's voice, the cripple boy began to hobble towards her, thinking that Eiry was following. "Doing the best I can," he said, smiling up at her, "I was looking for you. It seems I hit one of the numbers at the Lucky Pan booth."

Zoe's head wasn't even a blur when it moved. One minute he was looking at the large Gwee, the next it was facing the candy. There was no inbetween movement, simply 'no candy' and 'candy.'
His first instinct was to snatch it and shove it in his mouth, which he did, at least halfway. He stopped before the whole mint disappeared, looking back to the big floating green Gwee. Surely, he would like some candy, too? Who wouldn't like candy? Zoe took the sweet out of his mouth, holding it between his little claws. He wanted to fly over and offer it to the larger version of himself, but the white and blue one was there, the one that looked at him with such loathing. Lorenzo didn't really want to anger that one.
And so he perched on the booth, deciding on whether to eat the candy himself or brave the cold being in favor of the large Gwee-thing. He made a little distressed chittering noise as the big Gwee looked lost. Zoe wanted to help, but even he had a sense of self preservation!

"O-Oh! Did you take a picture?" Chloe leaned slightly against the booth as she watched Isi head over, looking a little worried. It was icy and cold... he shouldn't really be out here, it probably wasn't the best for his health.
"A-Are you cold?"
Sad?
No. But... maybe... his wings were ugly and deformed, it made his heart squeeze with pain and his throat feel tight. It even made his eyes begin burning to think of it. He tucked them against his back carefully, turning back toward the green Frei.
The icey Raeven swept his eyes over the green one once more, taking him in more fully now that the anger was momentarily quelled.
He licked his lips, expression focused as he spoke. "...Sad.. I.. Can't up fly. Can't.... lots." The words were out but they were very much not what he had wanted them to be, his fists clenching again in frustraition.

Aphismet smiled at the other woman as she brandished the plushie in his face. He lifted a hand by reflex, thinking that she was advancing so fast that soon the plushie would be pushed up against him.
"Erm, yeah. I made it. I made all the plushies, really... I'm glad you won one! And you know Vyn?" He asked, baffled by the fact that she could tell how closely the plushie did or did not ressemble the real thing.
Rivener had been staring at Laz long enough to know that the other was tactfully ignoring him, or was honestly unaware of his presence. With a sad sigh, Riv surprised himself by quelling the urge to go over an harrass the poor Fire Frei. He had, after all, saved Riv's life... He was owed a large amount of gratitude and respect, and leaving him alone was the best way for Rivener to express that.
He looked around dejectedly, trying to find something to take his mind off things. He knew the flower booth would be safe in Vyn's care, so he floated away into the aisle.
At the end of the corridor, he spotted his Little Brother, and Roux! With a slightly concerned frown, Riv wondered if Roux was still in his Strange Mood... Would he try to hurt Eiry? The little minty Frei didn't have the empathic capacity to deal with Roux...
Rivener, however, still stung from the feeling of rejection. Roux hadn't been happy to see him. That had hurt a lot. He didn't want to see the Ice Frei just yet. Sneakily, Rivener floated around to behind the booths, floating closer and eavesdropping on the two. He wanted to hear what they were talking about, and maybe interfere if something went awry between them...

"I did," replied the boy, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the polaroid picture he took. Handing it to her, the boy shuddered a bit from the cold and he grinned a bit, "Just a bit, but I'm sure I can last through it."
"Can't fly? Like the birds, you want?" asked Eirdirsceol softly, tilting his head to look at the icy raevan. Fluttering his wispy wings, he fluttered closer and put a pale grey hand on Roux's shoulder, looking him seriously in his blue eyes, "Too heavy with sad, yes. You're too heavy with sadsad. Be happy? Happy is lighter than sad. When you be happy, you be lighter, and up, up, up you go!" The will o wisp raevan threw his arms up and smiled brightly.

"Mmhmm," Alex confirmed, looking at the plush Vyn adoringly. "She's beautiful. I bought her some flowers from a handsome red and black Raevan." It didn't occur to her that he'd be surprised that she knew a thing or two about the beings. "I didn't get to meet Kalec, although I'd like to. And Roux..." She trailed off, her smile wilting at the edges.
The woman looked at the plushie, uncertain if she should relate what happened. She was still embarrassed that she had upset the lovely Raevan, but she was also pleased that he'd gotten over it, even if he didn't like her. How badly she wanted him to fly! Alex wasn't certain why she felt that way. It was almost an affinity to the icy Raevan, although she knew that wasn't possible. While she was thinking, she absently drew the doll to her chest in a light embrace, a motion usually reserved for Lorenzo.
Zoe had made up his mind! He carefully took off from the booth, gliding until he touched the ground. Pumping his stubby legs for all they were worth, he ran along the ground until he could feel the cold from the blue and white being. He chittered with displeasure, being cold blooded and all. He'd have to find Alex soon for warmth if the temperature stayed colder than it already was!
That's when he spotted the one that had given the female rose some flowers. He also seemed lost, but in a way much more different than the Gwee-being. Zoe chittered to himself in confusion, sitting down a short ways from the two he was originally heading towards, his resolve momentarily stalled.

Aphismet blinked in startlement. Of course, if Alex was here she would have seen and interacted with a few Raevans. But to hear her speak about Rivener? And all this time they'd both been here, they'd managed not to see each other?
At the mention of Roux, Aph's face went through a series of conflicting emotions. Fear, annoyance, anger, tolerance, pity... All warring for supremacy of his facial features. Finally he settled on a strange mix of confusion, and fearful regret.
"So you've met Roux? By your reaction, it wasn't very pleasant. He's not a very pleasant Raevan if you don't know how to handle him; he slapped me the first time we met." He brought a hand up to his cheek, remembering the event. Almost immediately he let the hand down and smiled. "Rivener seems to be able to handle him quite well though; Riv's my Raevan. He's the red and black one you're talking about, who sold you flowers." He grinned sheepishly.
Rivener watched as a little green thing came close, and spotted him... He frowned at the creature and made a "SHHH!" gesture, hoping it wouldn't give him away... He didn't want the other two to spot him.

Chloe took the polaroid, nodding as she saw the numbers clearly. She reached down to pick up a well-crafted doll made in the likelyness of Lazarus. She stepped around the booth, taking off her labcoat and draping it lightly over the boy's shoulders as well as handing the plush over. "Th-There you are... to keep you warm and to keep you c-company." She smiled. Roux gave a soft, inarticulate grunt, shaking his head. His wings lifted almost weakly, stretching. A handful of feathers were snatched away immediatly by the wind and he watched them go with... ...fear.. It was close and tight and sudden. Something had to be wrong.. what was happeneing, it didn't hurt but it was -humiliating- which was new and terrifying as well. He brought his hands up to either side of his head and leaned forward, gritting his teeth in a grimace. His wings folded again, tight against his back as though he were trying to curl in on himself.

Alex blinked, coming out of her thoughts as she looked at Aphismet. Unfortunately, she'd missed his facial expressions, her eyes only seeing the lone Raevan at the booth, so prideful and angry. She gasped when he said that Roux slapped him. Was that what he had in mind for me? she wondered inwardly. He was so mad... The woman exhaled softly, giving a brief shake of her head. "He's not so bad," she said quietly, her face very serious. "He's...he's sad. And he seems to be lonely. I think he's going through some changes, because he's molting pretty badly." She smiled again, although it was a sheepish gesture, "I...I angered him by asking if he had dreams. I just...wanted to know what he was thinking. He's beautiful, but very arrogant. I guess he doesn't like either of us." That lone feather fell a thousand times in her mind, along with Roux's wings poised to fly...
She shook her head, then started to laugh, covering her mouth with her hand. Rivener was a Raevan! She knew that, but he was the handsome red and black one? "Oh, sweet irony," she squeezed between giggles. "That was your Rivener. And he...he has a fondness for Roux, who you seem not to care for. And here we all are, all having met. What a quaint little puzzle." Her smile softened into something more genuine, her eyes touched with mirthful amusement. "Unless your brother is a bundled little boy under the age of ten, I don't think I've met him yet."
The Gwee blinked his massive eyes at the Raevan. Alex made that motion a lot when they were in the cave with the wild Gwee. He didn't understand it, but she was generally happy when he wasn't trying to talk to her during those times. His mouth quivered, but no noise came out. Giving a shake of his wings, Zoe popped up on all fours and strode over to the black and red being, quietly crawling up the booth to sit next to him. Maybe he could see why that motion was so important, now?

Jae Eun watched jealously as another person got a cute little plush doll. Pulling out her hand-phone, she plugged in the headphones and turned on 'one more time' by daft punk. Rather appropriate song, really.
Irritated, she threw the dice in....one more time.

Natsuki nibbled on her sweet potato gingerly. It was turning out to be a fantastic day all together. Wandering over to a bench, she sat and shook her feet. Though her boots looked fabulous, she was exausted from all the walking around. Leaning back, she watched the crowd and lost herself in thought for a little while. When she finished she walked back over to the Kissing booth, spotting another staff raevan talking with Roux.
Her steps were airy and light, as she approached the booth. She watched the wind carry away some of Roux's feathers. It was then that she realized something was wrong. She walked up to the booth marked for Eiry and waited. She gave the raevans their privacy as they seemed to be engaged in a serious conversation.

Aphismet smiled. He could see Isi at Chloe's booth now, picking up a plushie of... Oh crap. The Laz plushie. Well, at least it would be in the same house as Riv, even though Aphismet worried that Rivener would try to pry it away from its rightful owner.
"Actually," Aphismet said, nodding over to Isi with a smile, "that's him right there, the kid with the crutches. He's not my real brother," Aph explained, feeling oddly chatty about it. He enjoyed talking to this Alex, and it was getting easier the more time went by... Especially considering that this time, she wasn't invading his personal space... yet. "I'm his foster guardian, and I'm trying to legally adopt him. But, since I don't want to be his dad, we just consider each other brothers. Isi has a Raevan too, in fact. A green one called Eiry, I'm not really sure where he is..."
Rivener's face fell as he watched Roux's reactions. Was that why he was so upset? He can't fly, or something like that? Rivener could easily see that Roux's pride was suffering from the loss of his beautiful plumage, but he didn't understand why anyone would be THIS upset. He knew it Happened, he saw it on TV from time to time, but even then he didn't know why someone would be so broken over one thing...
Absently, he put a hand on the Gwee's head. He'd gotten into the habit of petting Beaubeau when he was upset, and since the whale wasn't here, he instinctively reached out for the closest similar thing.

"Ah! M-Miss." A voice asked as someone tapped lightly on Natsuki's shoulder. The voice was strangled as they gasped for breath and speak at the same time, "B-But....have you seen a...a..b-boy. A-About...this high?"
A young woman stood in back of Natsuki, leaning forward as she gripped her sides in pain from all her running. Sweat rolling down the sides of her forehead as her cheeks turned a shade darker. She straighted as she showed how tall the child was compared to her.
"He's wearing...very bright clothes, and...answers to the name of..of Tyson? He's really adorable and laughs a lot! He's also really loud! Please, tell me, have you seen him?" She asked wiping away tears from her bloodshot eyes.
Lillian was trying to remain calm, but it was hard once your baby brother runs off on you during a delivery job. She had searched throughout their whole neighborhood and he was not to be found. After running further she had stumbled upon this carnival if one would call it that.
Tyson always loved these things, so if he went this way no doubt would the child have stopped to take a look around.
