Arch the Angel "Hmm...." Arch stroked his chin, staring down at it. "And I wasn't able to turn up much." Merlin called to them from down the hallway. "It was a form of scrying spell, but it should have dissipated and healed by now. Why it's still bothering you is a mystery, but I can sense the magic in you still, Ruby." "Yeh beehn staihndihn theah theh 'hwohle taihme? Ahn 'ahwd wouhld iht staih ihn juhs 'ehr?" "Well can't you just kinda.." she waved her hands around like she was casting a spell. "You know, undo it or somethin'?" She shrugged, "Maybe a quick spot in the nullifier woudl do it, not soemthin' long enough to hurt me or anythin, but sorta like a heartbeat, let the junk dissipate, an' then pull me back out."

"Just removing your ring may do it, or at least allow me access to the spell to destroy it." Merlin shook his arms, his sleeves magically rolling up. He turned to Arch. "Knowing the properties of the ring, however, I can easily ward against it, and give the opposing caster a nasty surprise if they try it again."

"What?" A.C. was leaning against the wall very near them, arms folded across her chest. "Why would a nullifier hurt you? I was under the impression its effects were as temporary as the field."

A.C. gazed at Ruby with a measured look. "I've never been so sure..." She didn't finish her thought. "Be careful about that bite. I saw the frog in Ora's hands, and I know for a fact that no natural frog bites at all."

Merlin took the ring, closing his hand around it. He looked down into Ruby's eyes, his own gray eyes flashing with dark shapes, a turbulent storm held back by thin panes of glass. His eyes flashed bright for a moment, and he blinked, breaking the gaze. "There, now try healing yourself. The spell is gone."

Ruby's shoulder began healing immediatley and she smiled, giving Merlin a nod, "thanks sugar." She leaned her shoulder over to Arch so he could see it was gone too. Then turned her attention to AC. "And you'd know Ora then? And sug, how'd you see a frog in Ora's hands unless she let you see a frog in her hands?"
