Nibi no Nekomata QueenOfPuzzles Because then Kaen and anyone who wants the council doesn't feel stepped on that they had their voice taken away from them. They are allowed to speak their opinion, even if the majority of today's posts were negative towards it. But kaens said it himself, and the proofs been shown. Its highly unlikely he would back down. (no offense kaen) Its obvious we wont have a council, one person cant make a council when everyone else says 'No'. So i see no point in continue this pointless thread, its just argueing, you two have both said you just keep repeating what you've been saying. And its not always on this subject either. Yes, but I'm sure he's unhappy because he feels no one is listening to him or understanding what he says. If the thread stays dead tomorrow, there shouldn't be a problem in deleting it. But a lot of people are also offline that might want to post their take on what has been discussed and presented. Today was a negative in the council's favor. Tomorrow when people read up and post it might sway back into it. You can't have a council when only one person says "Yes" and everyone else says "No", but right now we only have two or three people online, and at least six people have been watching this thread when they can.

Choppers750 Nibi just leave it sheesh. If he wants to try let him. But I think we just need to lose a lot of mods. I'm fine with that idea. I just dont think we should completely obliterate the mod species... >.> I have nothing against that. But, the huge discussion, as its been said, is not who we get rid of, but how they will take it... To be honest, a fair bit of people may get really mad, even if they are acting childish, myself included.

Then there shouldn't be a problem in deleting the thread. It seems that most of what will be said has been said. ^^
Being demoted doesn't mean you'll never be promoted again. It doesn't mean you necessarily were a bad mod. It's just we don't need too many.
If none of the other masters of your element mind being demoted, then so long as you have a follower you can stay a mod in my opinion.
But there are lots of apprenticeless masters and masters that aren't even active.
To reduce the number of mods, I think the fair way to do it would be demote people who are not active and have only one master per active element, meaning an element with an active follower. This of course can always be subject to change if the need arises, at which point all past mods will probably be promoted again.

I remember a time when we pretty much gave away master/mod positions just to make people come to the guild... The four master rule as well, now we're thinking of cutting back... Oh yay.

Uhm, all my words were taken from me. : D ::Still studying at 2 AM:: So yah, Nibi, I'm super glad you didn't delete the thread. Fixes the large problem of me finding a pleasant person to explain to me what the hell happened in a less then 24 hour span, since I was also on this late the day before. rolleyes
Mrrm, like many others, I don't wish to have a council anymore. I wish to team up w/ Sumi and just try to make the guild as clean and happy as possible. : O
I'll start by editing posts in order to do something very nice: Stop the post towers! Hopefully, I won't infuriate Puzzles (or anybody else) by doing so. : D
