Hai, that's what I was goin for. Need longer arms, amber eyes, and a blue face, but otherwise, I've got the look. Care to join me? I'm sure you could pull off John Talbain or Dimitri. ^_^

Well, I'm sure it could be done somehow. My faves are Morrigan and Talbain. ^_^ Nothing better for a button masher than a psychotic, Bruce Lee imitating werewolf. Dimitri's pretty nasty too, what with being able to change guys into girls just for the pleasure of drinking a female's blood...

Didn't know he could do that. O.o Just saw him as a vampire Ryu. He's my go to guy when I lose with the Queen.

The vamp is nasty... But there are worse things out there... Like having to wait to play World of Warcraft. I bought the game today, but don't have the money to play just yet... sweatdrop

Ugh, I hate the idea of a subscription to play a game online. It's what's been keeping me from already buying City of Heroes. Well that & I needed a better comp first.

I know. I was like that with WoW. I absolutely refused to play it, watch videos of it, look at the forums, listen to the music, etc. I knew that if I did, I would have to play. I made the mistake of agreeing to watch a friend play it a few days ago. And so, I gave up and bought a copy. Fortunately for me, I'm using a friend's credit card to subscribe, so I can give the money directly to him instead of using a credit card that I don't have...

Atleast you're not messing with your credit while you're playing it. Bleh I don't want a credit card but I know sooner or later I'll have to get one or a checking one...otherwise I'll get some strange looks when the day comes that I can afford my own place & pay for a house with a briefcase full of bills. sweatdrop

Ditto...ditto...
Oh! Bought myself a new game last week. Zoids: Battle Legends for the gamecube. It's an alright title I guess. Has some flaws with it but not too bad for $29.99(new).
Graphics- Eh...looks like a really good PS1 game. Especially the blocky shadows under the zoids.
Sounds- The music is ok. You wouldn't want to buy a soundtrack but it does the trick. The voice acting is HORRIBLE! Many of characters that appear from the anime have new VAs which really reeks. gonk
Gameplay- Ehhh has its ups & downs. It's hard to actually hit anything with your guns aside from missles even when your locked onto a target. Running & gunning isn't as easy as it should be. But it is fun to jump ontop of buildings then come flying off at an enemy with an Energy Sheild powered up. I do like being able to customize your zoids with the weapons you earn after battles.
All in all I'm glad I didn't pay full price since I traded in Gladius & Sword of Mana for it but for what I did pay it's not a bad title, just could've been better. If you just like zoids & wanna give it a go, rent it or try to find it used. Other gamecube robot/shooter games to look for instead: Gotcha Force & Custom Robo.

Custom Robo was pretty good, but the story mode was far too short. I liked the customization of it all though. I don't see why you'd trade in Sword of Mana though.. I mean, it is a Mana game.

I mean, it is a Mana game. It's just that I was hoping that it would be more like the original Final Fantasy Adventure. The addition of way too many Legend of Mana elements really weakened the game for me. Not to mention overly dependance on the ring menus was horrible. >.< They should've asked the original creator(s) of the game for some input. From what I've read, the team behind the Mana games(Adventure, Secret of Mana, that 2nd SNES one...) all decided to leave square & they started the company behind the Golden Sun games. If you've played the first 3 then Legend of Mana or Sword of Mana you can just feel the difference. sad

Ah, okay.. I haven't played Sword. I'd hoped it'd be more like Secret of Mana.. Seiken Densetsu 3 was still the best of the series though. *nods*
