If God watched Anime... every guy would have perfectly stream-line bodies with built abs, and all women would have abnormally sized boobs in proportion to their bodies.
People would go on amazing adventures, get to wield swords in public, be swamped with many hot individuals of the opposite sex in strange, awkward situations, and get to meet our soul-mate and realize they are the one we've been looking for just in time, or right before they and/or we get killed/die.
On the flip side, if it were Yaoi, the world would be destroyed in an instant. Or, all guys would be hot... incredibly sensitive, distant, emo, or thoughtful... and every straight guy would be, "Strangely drawn to another man for reasons unknown." And before you knew it, every girl would be single, left in the pools of despair to watch their boyfriend leave them for a guy. And Al, wouldn't have to die, for he'd already be in heaven. (Not meant to be insulting.)
If it were Yuri, well, it'd be the same, but reversed.
