As Damrius came up from his summersault, he brought his blade up to slam into Ryugi's. Damrius was strong, but his strength only outweighed his speed by so much. As the two swords connected, he was thrown in the opposite direction of the sword, landing on his feet, about five feet from Ryugi.
Breathing hard, He felt his strength waning, and the sword became heavier in his hands. This was proving to be a lot more than he had anticipated.

Dame landed, and would be greeted with another low sword strike near his legs as Ryugi continued to keep the blade in motion, swinging it around for the low hit, aiming to tire Dame out, as well as disable his legs.

Damrius stepped to teh opposit side of the swing, and since Ryugi would be using his momentum that way, it would be harder, no matter how strong, to turn the sword back down without having to waste a precious second. But, hey, the unpredictable happens
As he stepped out of the swing's range, he jumped in, and swung his sword toward's Ryugi's stomach.

It was a clever move, but as the sword swung at Ryugi's stomach, Ryugi would be turning to the side and backing away, his body following the tug of the sword's pull as he moved around Dame, backing up, before spinning the sword around to impact Dame around the buttocks with the blunt end of the sword. Chuckles aside, it would help to stun and disable his legs.

Damrius found his sword fell short, and then another sword slamming into his buttocks. His legs went numb as he let the sword moved him with the force.
As he was moving though, he would use his right arm, though in pain, and swing the flat of the sword up to smack Ryugi's knuckles.

Though...to a miscalculation in reach, Dame's strike would fall short of hitting Ryugi's knuckles, as Ragnarok was much longer than Dame's blade. Ryugi would hop back and get into an attacking position with Ragnarok off to his right side.

Damrius lay on the ground, and rollded onto his back, breathing hard. HIs legs hurt, so much that he couldn't stand on them yet. He looked at Ryugi and smiled, wincing as he did so.
Well... i'm done for. I kept it up as long as I could, but basically ran out of steam.
Damrius sighed, closing his eyes for a moment, trying to get his minor strenght back

Laguna nonchalantly wandered alone through the plains; of course his wandering was aimless at this time for he had no where to go but forward in time. The static built up under his clothing crackled with the windblown grass, often bringing melodious tunes to his ears and a smile to his young face. At this moment he was currently eating one of the bright orange carrots that he'd plucked from the Earth earlier other day.

Now, Madison was a rather stealthy creature today. Why was that? She was in fact lurking within the Plains that day. She wasn't very sure of where exactly she was, but she had somewhat of an idea. She was well aware that she was in Gaia, and that many of her comrades had visited here before.
Quietly, she sat on the dirt and began to tighten the laces on her heeled black boots. They were getting way too lose for their own good. She swore lightly under her breath as she attempted to tie up her laces, they were totally warn down. She needed to go get some new laces sometime soon, or she may loose one of her boots one day.
Her snow white rabbit ears stood up from the top of her head, listening for any predators that might cause her any sort of harm. They poked themselves out of the tall blades of grass, only having them to be the only thing to see for quite some time. Finally, they directed themselves to the north as a sound caught their attention. A Crunch.
Madison's head quickly poked slightly upwards only having her eyes peering out of the grass, along with her ears. She heard a treat. A carrot for that matter. With a slight grin on her face she began to move slowly at the same position, looking for that snack. She didn't say anything, for she was being sneaky after all. However, she did snicker slightly as she move in the blades of grass, the blades where slightly ticklish.

Laguna was slightly distracted with the sound of nature around him, but more importantly he was distracted by the growling of his stomach which seemed to add an awkward bass line to the natural symphony being played around him. Fruit and vegetables were all well and good, especially since they were plentiful around here, but what he needed was meat.
His stomach growled again as the wind pushed through the wheat.

There it was, only a little ways away. Her carrot, the only problem was it was hanging out of the mouth of some weird man. She rubbed her fingers together and smiled, she could use a quick bite to eat. After all, she hadn't had a decent meal in quite sometime.
Now the real question was how did she expect she was going to get said delight. She tapped her nose slightly and then sat down on the ground cross legged. She knew stealing was wrong, so she had to think of another solution to her problem.
As she sat, her white ears continued to hang over the blades of wheat. Sticking out for the world to see.

Laguna halted in his tracks immediately. A strange scent hung in the air. Strange because he'd never smelt something like this: it smelt like the cross between something small and easy to chew, but at the same time like something decently large and prone to annoyance-- and that's when his mind stopped caring for whatever it could have been and more for what it seemed like it was. He caught sight of two white ears peaking above the grass.
A rabbit! he thought. Dropping his stuff he placed what was left of the carrot on top of it and ducked beneath the grass, crawling down wind.

"Well if I do take the carrot, I'll be in big trouble. But if I don't...my tummy is going to be sad." She was now thinking out loud, completely forgetting her idea of being stealthy. However her attention was soon drawn to the sound of the carrot no longer being chewed.
She once again poked her head out of the grass and began to look around, the man was gone. But his stuff was still there. She scratched her head softly and continued to look.
"Where did he go?"

The pile consisted of a pack left slightly open and filled with books on language, sword play, magic, geography and plant life, and other random subjects, as well more fruit, vegetables, a loaf and a half of bread, a satchel half full of what looked like could be rocks, and, of course, the carrots, all left precariously unattended to.
The wind blew again and the grass steadily shifted.

She looked around cautiously to make sure that there was no sign of anyone to be seen. So far things looked pretty dandy, after all the flat lands allowed you to see for miles. Her ears could only hear the breeze flow through the grass, a little creepy for that matter. But she's been through worse.
"Well...Since no one is around....I guess there's no harm on having a small nibble." Madison had then began to step through the tall blades, attempting not to trip. With every step, she continued to look around. After all, if she saw the owner she knew she was going to run at that point in time, though she knew that the amount of grass may slow her down.
