"Now we devlop that skill...Show you what you're capable of and teach you how to use it."

A pillar of ice would errect itself before her. It was perhaps as wide in diameter as four inches or so, and at about her shoulder height. He lay a hand on it, rolling his fingers against the solid structure, showing her it was frozen solid.

"Another rather simple task. All you have to do is break the ice."

He had confidence in her in that. Easy enough. Same basic principle, just a bit more of the stuff. He didn't even say she ahd to break all the way through. jsut break it.

Beth watched the ice pillars coming up before her before looking over at Leer with a raised eyebrow at how he wanted to break them. They seemed thick enough to give problems... but she didn't know her true strength now and thought if he was asking it of her, it shouldn't be THAT hard to do. Using her right hand, she made a fist and struck at the pillar, going for close to the level it wouldn't be awkward for her or anything.

Leer watched as a good portion of the ice went flying off. perhaps she'd have punched through it if she'd been more accustomed to her new strength, but that would come in time.

He sent a snap kick driving into the remaining ice and was already raising another as the first shaterred to the ground.

"Good enough fr a first atempt, but power is best used when known and able to be focused. this time, I want you not to BREAK it, but to punch a hole straight through it."

He pulle dhis arm abck and punch a smooth circle through the uppermost portion of it, leaving her plenty of room to work with his example as guide.

Any surprise she had that she had done as he asked of her wasn't shown as her eyes looked at the pillar then up at him to see what he would say. An eyebrow was raised at the comment and what he wanted her to do this time with the new pillar. "Very well," she murmured before looking at the pillar and trying to focus her thoughts and energy. As before, she pulled her arm back and shot a punch straight towards the pillar, trying to do as requested of her.

She'd find that her fist would sink a little more than half way in and then be stuck, waiting for her to pull it out as the ice around it showed signs of stress in tiny cracks,

Ler's arms were folded over his chest as he watched. not bad for a first try, but she'd need to get better soon. He'd let her slack off for too long now. Sloppy.

"Again."

he nodded a little lower on the pillar and waited for her second attempt. She should improve, and it SHOULD be better than the first. He expected as much.

She nodded and barely took notice of the small cuts and nicks in her knuckle, which quickly healed over as she started to repeat her actions. Without waiting for him to tell her again, she would keep repeating the process until she could cleanly punch a hole in the ice or ran out of room to try to do such. She knew she had to work hard and do what he wanted, she wanted to please him and that want had pushed her along more in her punches.

After a few more tries, she finally stopped and stood up, trying to keep her breathing steady and calm as she looked at him, not paying attention to the blood that dripped down as it was healing still fast enough not to cause her a problem.

"Not too shabby, dear."

He looked at the work she'd inflicted upon the ice pillar, finding that it was abrely intact with all the pock marking of holes and half way hits. He spun ninety degrees and sent his tail whipping through it, shaterring it as it contacted, then ice falling to the floor and slowly bleeding back from where it had come.

"That'll do for today...keep practicing with that. Next time I'll hve something else for you."

For now he reached down to the icy floor and drew a chunk of ice from it, quickly forming a glass between his fingers. He easilly slit his wrist over it, topping it off, and then held it out for her.
It was about time she partook of it again. It had to have been aobut three days since her last drink.

"Each sip is your gain, love."

She smirked at his comment, still trying to keep her breathing level and not show it had done more to her then she was letting on. Not flinching as the ice was shattered and thrown across the flooring, her eyes kept on him as she watched him carefully to see what was next. Bowing her head at his words, she smiled faintly and nodded in agreement. She was glad she would take a break in the training at least for now, but she would have went on without complaint or signs of getting tired for as long as she could.

Taking the glass in her hands, she tilted her head at him slightly. "Why do you think I will refuse," she asked him, lifting the glass finally and drinking from it. Enjoying the taste and feeling it gave her, she moved to lean into his side with her head nuzzling into his stomach. Her tail flickered before curling around his as it often did.

He smirked, glad that she had no problem drinking his blood.

"Just a little funfact to brighten your day, hm?"

His hands rested against her shoulders, sliding around her neck and pulling her closer as he once more dipped into shadows and took them away form the Chasm.

Snorting under her breath, she let his hands roam across her body and pull her closer against his body. Still drinking the blood from his ice-made glass, she slipped with him into the shadows, wondering where they were now going...

He sat in shade, resting against the walls of his chambers, letting the cold air permeate hiss kin as he went about his work. Normally he drew materials from other beings, but this project was different.

He amde sure not to let his blood spill to the floor as he sheared open his right leg from ankle to hip with the index claw of the same side hand. The pain barely showed across his features. He was working, nothing materred to him but what he was working on. even as his nerves picked up the sensation he just shook his head and smirked, as if to remind his body that he didn't care, that it was borderline amusing.

He'd have to let his body have a little time to heal or put more effort into it, but no big deal, that could be remedied. Carefully, he began picking out what he'd need. Portions of bone and tendon, fibers and portions of flesh. Considerring what he'd need tot ake out, he considerred setting the materials aside, fixing himself up and then finishing this project....Yes, that might work better the becoming borderline amorphous....

*Ice was ever present at the chasm when not working, and he had been aware of both Leer, his women, and some of the circumstances surrounding them. He was also aware of his childe in general, picking up even his moods as long as Leer was in the chasm.
For the most part of late, he'd left Leer alone, letting him discover dominance and superiority over others alone, as it should be. The faun had even been pleased to see Leer taking this step so soon. Though made a low generation and thus potentially EXTREMELY powerful cainite, such power did not come instantly and had to be learned as with any Cainite... Ice was pleased Leer was coming along quickly.

Today, he sensed Leer was alone, and up to something out of the ordinary, and so he headed for the younger Fiend's location, cold mist playing about him, taking the form of hounds and wolves that vanished as they moved. When he stepped into Leer's room, he was the epitomy of the Ice Prince, cold and aloof, and infinitely beautiful in a human form of an adonis, his body sculpted finely, his features refined. He looked down at Leer... and nothing could hide his true nature in his eyes and leer, despite the fur collar of his clothing flickering across his cheeks*

Good evening childe...

He glanced up at Ice, stropping his work for a momment as he did. No need to multitask, to become careless. this was HIS body he was working on, making a careless mistake would be practically abomination from his own hand even if he could fix the damage.

"So it is, my Sire. I openly welcome you and your word, but you must pardon me whilst I tie up these loose ends."

He waited a few seconds from speaking, as if waiting for permissions, and then began taking back to his work, quickly scaning over the parts of his leg he'd removed. A pile of bone, tissue, tendon, ligament and the other various structures lay beside him. He frowned at them, biting a fang into his lower lip,a trickle of blood running down it, as he tried to ignor the spliting pains of his head. He'd beocme certain that at the very most he had perhaps one other persona floating around in his skull...that or utter madness. But by the way his head felt like it was in about twenty different pieces he'd become unsure as to what was going wrong with him again. Insanity he oculd live with...He'd felt that before, this wasn't the same.

He filed it aside for a momment as he looked at his disected leg. Quickly he began putting the workings of his body abck together under the biomechanical casing. He seemed almost frusterated. How was a Tzimisce to work with such pressures in his own head!

When finally he felt it was all sound he stood, not even testing it but sure it would work, he looked slightly up to Ice. his Sire would know now something was wrong...he had no doubt of that....It annoyed him more that it was showing so clearly, even despite that he was at home.

"My efforts seem useless as my mind devours my attentions in its constant sundering."

He ofered as an explination to save the time of the initial question, if one would have even been asked. Either way, his Sire now held his full attention, or at least the most he could manage.

*Ice went to Leer in but a few long strides, sliding out of his fur coat and placing it around Leer's shoulders as he pulled him to his chest, draping one arm about him as he gently pried, letting concern show for once as he abandoned any other thoughts other than Leer's problem*

When did it start? Has something happened out of the ordinary? And if someone dared DO this to you...

*His snarl of anger coudl be felt through his whoel body at the thought of someone harming his childe, but of course Ice also know Leer was a Diablerist like himself and it was just as likely he could have eaten someone who didnt agree with him. Regardless, he needed Leer's input to understand exactly what was wrong, and what could have caused it*

Tell me everything.

Leer licked the blood off his lips as Ice pulled him against his body. He could feel the rage reverberating off his Sire's body, some of it seeming to push against him. This wasn't a problem form his feeding though he knew that much. even when he ate someone whose thoughts didn't want to blend with his propperly he could deal with it, loosing perhaps one stride of every few hundred. He'd grown sued to it.
This was a new problem though, something he hadn't grown used to.

"A few days ago...two or three."

He didn't know the exact date...Couldn't have been more then three days though...At that ol theater he had in Auria. when he'd parted ways with her. But that wasn't it. He looked puzzled, trying to figure out what had caused this and how to define it. it had nothing to do wtih any one given person...Except maybe himself.

"My flesh itches...aches form time to time....needs to be altered now and again...That didn't seem of concern to me...My thirst for blood seems elevated...like I need more of it than usual....it hurts most in my head though. Words that shouldn't hurt suddenly sink in like burning acid. Pasts that shouldn't mean anything suddenly have been relit like open fire. There's a constant tuging in my skull as if something's sunk it's claws into my mind and pulls in every direction."

That was the best he could describe it at the momment...With such sudden need to draw an answer. Perhaps he'd have more detail as the time passed. All he really knew was that suddenly it hurt...the same question always came to mind. "Why?". He never quite had an answer. Leer just knew that it hurt and he wanted it to stop...
