Carmilla odded slightly to Emily to be polite then placed a book mark in her book and held it up so the front cover was visible. "Advanced Rune translations. I have it first thing in the morning." She turned to the fire and held her hands out to it after placing her book down, trying to wam her cold pale hands. "What do you mean by disaster queens?" She asked curiously.

"Hi Carmilla. I'm Chelsie Rousseau. We just go back from a run to the kitchens for a late night snack. Lilly,you're clumsyness hasn't gotten to me....yet...." Chelsie said. She plopped in another over-stuffed chair and sighed in content. She was getting kind of tired, but she wanted to stay up and talk to Carmilla a little bit more and chat with the other girls. She yawned and stretched. "What year are you Carmilla? I'm a first year, but an advanced one. Magic just comes to me, easy."
((I forgot to put this when I started posting here...I'm French; first language is French, second is English *der* and speak it very well. I decided to not go to Beauxbaton because I wanted to go to a school with both girls and boys. I have dark red hair that goes a little past my shoulder blades, usually straight, and dark green eyes. I'm kind of punky but I wear what I like...*you'd know what I mean if you saw what I wear in real life*. I'm friendly and love music and singing. *this is just for my character, the only thing that is like me is the clothing, eyes, friendliness, love of music, and my real name is Chelsie but that's not my last name*))

"Hello Chellsie..." She smiled faintly and looked around at all of the girls. "I am in fourth year. I think that I was pretty much like you, except I read alot when I was younger, I knew most of the things they taught in first year before I even got here." She looked into the fire with her bright purple eyes, avoiding looking into anyone eyes worried they would make fun of her. "Learning is one of the thing I enjoy the most." She mumbled quietly.

"Well that's what Ravenclaw's do." Emily smiled. "I'm a seventh year, and some of the professors are showing me more advanced spells because I met the seventh year skill in fifth year. What I meant by disaster queens is we can't take a step without something happening." Lily suddenly remembered her funny makeup and pony tails. "Oh crap, seeing me dressed as a clown probably isn't what you needed." Lily placed her wand to her face, and without muttering a word her face was back to normal. "Hey, I actually did it." She jumped to her knees in the chair, and sent it falling backwards.

"Yeah. You should've seen us going to and coming back from the kitchens. Lily and Lucy were all over the place. They were both tripping and falling. It was kinda funny, once we knew they were OK obviously. I'm one of the top rated in my class. I could probably do easy spells, like the first one learned, without saying it now. I feel like I'm bragging. Sorry." Chelsie yawned again and stretched. She enjoyed her night out, getting caught, and her cake. She got up and poked in the fire with one of the pokers sitting to the side. Once she got that out of her system she went and sat down again.

Carmilla blinked while watching Emily as she did magic without saying anything and watched her mack up and hair change. "Yeah, I don't think fourth years do ancient runes but I was allowed to..." She scratched the side of her head slowly and looked at Chelsie. "Sounds like it was quite a funny exprience." She said quietly as she looked into the fire with a warm smile on her face, something that felt foriegn to her. "I can do simple wandless magic, but I find it tires me out quickly so I prefer to have my wand around."

"I'm the Lucy that everyone is talking about. I wanna do wordless magic!! I'm gonna try!!!!!!!!" Lucy put her wand up to her face and shut her eyes, clearly thinking hard. All of a sudden, the wand blasted a bright yellow light and lucy flew over to where the door to the common room was. She hit the wall and screamed.
"Oh My Gosh!!! I am so sorry!! I scrame because it scared me,though, not because of the concussion I just expirienced...ow..." Lucy's terrified eyes closed a little and they eventually looked normal.
"Crap!!! I am so sorry!! This is what we were talking about...I am sorry." Lucy looked embarressed.

"G'nite Jade. I might be joining you soon." Chelsie called as she watched Jade go up the stairs. She was then blinded by Lucy's light and saw her, or rather heard her because her temporary blindness, hit the wall. "Are you ok?" Chelsie laughed as she said this. "Sorry. I laugh when people, including myself, get hurt. Well...only in certain circumstances I guess..." She trailed off and stared in to space for a while.

"Lucy." Emily jumped up from her fallen chair. "Are you alright? Nonverbal magic is very advanced. You don't learn it till sixth year." Emily walked over to Lucy, and saw the fear in her eyes before laughing. "I guess that would be terrifying." She held out a hand to help Lucy up, but turned to Carmilla. "I learned that I could do a little wandless magic while I was at a Quidditch match. It made McGonagall mad because I still hadn't mastered nonverbal spells."

Carmilla waved to the girl who headed up to bed before turning her attention back to the girls she was talking to. She looked back just in time to see Lucy go flying across the room and stood up, moving across the room to her but noticed that Emily was faster then her since she had been in shock for a miute from the light and the noise. "Is she okay...?" She asked softly looking at Lucy. " McGonagall seems mad at almost everything unless you do everything perfectly. Shes a bit too stiff if you ask me." She straightened out er shirt a bit ber looking between Emily and Lucy again.

"I think it just scared her." Emily sat down on the floor next to Lucy, but turned to Carmilla. "McGonagall does need to lighten up. She's kind of given up on my calming down, but she's still always yelling." Emily suddenly stopped as she thought. "Hey, I just remembered. McGonagall didn't give us detention when she caught us. She seemed really tired, and worn out.''

"I noticed that too, Lily. I wonder what was bothering her today." Chelsie said. She pondered for a while and then thought of something. "Maybe....well.....I dunno.....maybe more students than normal acted up today.....I dunno."
