Toys R Us. Hmm.
Dammit. I'm in a sticky situation. There is a Toys R Us where I work, but not where I live. I usually leave to go home from work well before the Toys R Us opens, and don't get into the city for work until well after it closes.
so yeah. I need to find an excuse to make a foray into this city o' wonders to get me a primus.

Today I went to Toys R Us and picked up the Giant Planet Mini-cons and legends of Cybertron Hotshot (red Excellion colors), Thundercracker, and Sunstorm.

I am debating whether or not to get Menasor from Giant Planet. The way his minicon is incorporated into his vehicular mode is nice, and the storage of said minicon is also a bonus. On the other hand, the transformation is less than impressive . . . how they ranked him a difficulty 4, I have no idea.

When the box says "difficulty", what it really means is size class. The difficulty rating hasn't been based on actual difficulty for years, if ever.

That's not true, some of the smaller figures have had a higher dificulty rating, it's rare, but it's happen.

Well, still mulling over Menasor . . . but managed to get the Giant Planet mini-con team. Quite impressive for minicons . . . it has been a while since one of their size impressed me with their complexity. The newest incarnation of 'longarm' was particularly nice for me. 3nodding

I still have to wonder behind the premise of Unicron as a tank.
Still watching for Primus around here...... crying

It's not that hard to envision. Unicron gets blown to smithereenies like in the movie, only this time instead of lying dormant a part of him remains active and builds a smaller body out of the remaining hardware available to him, with the intent of using this smaller body to gain enough power to restore him to his former glory.

What else would he turn into? Something that small turning into a planet-like thing would be pretty useless. A tank is the logical extension of the whole mobile destructive object theme.

Mylian What else would he turn into? Something that small turning into a planet-like thing would be pretty useless. A tank is the logical extension of the whole mobile destructive object theme. He could easily have been something along the lines of a satellite, or even a moon-type object. After all, he probably was left hurtling through space. Geez, harp on me about everything. The day fast approuches. Paycheck time. Soon Primus will be mine.

It isn't harping. This is a discussion forum, I'm discussing. If I wasn't interested in what you had to say, I wouldn't be responding to it.
