"I must thank you for that, and we will provide the resources of course, as you have given us the needed oppurtunity. I wish to resolve that matter fairly quickly, as the construct not only holds but is valuable stolen property, and a subject of personal interest to an esteemed collegue otherwise involved currently. There is one more matter I wish to ask you of as well, of course, but let us see our side of the bargaining first, yes? There is a breif covering of nearly any subject of interest in these texts. History and maps from the far side of the Gray Mountains, which little seems to pass either way over thanks to the Donyan and territorial Erindan, not to mention the brutal plains immediatly adjacent there to on this, the eastern side of them. These of course may not catch your eye even though you've likely not seen it before, and don't worry I have of course more extensive detail on these, and everything else I present elsewhere, which I could dredge up and present to you if desired. There is of course also thesis and analyzation on magic use, existance, qualities, energies and creation there of, as well as uses. A collegue has a special interest in things akin to dark arts and necromancy, so we could easily dip into his books and offer you information from there as well, a vast amount infact. Then there is also of course insight and research, works by famous and or ancient men on subjects of psychology, politics, medical research, and nearly everything I could see being of practical use somewhere, quite frankly. And then, if you desire, we can always offer up resources to you rather than information. Money, men, we're quite well equiped in that manner also." Levaticus pushed the texts across the table to Quintilius, gesturing with a hand for him to page through. He leaned forward in his chair, and rested his chin on his entwined fingers. The other two sat still, except for the green lights in Richardo's mask flickering on for a moment, and going out again.

Quin paged through them, reading what was gathered here and there, absently he spoke, "I have no need of resources, money, men, or other wise. To except such gifts would be too how shall I say in the open, it would not do for people to suspect me." Continueing his reading he read the different topics, "Different names same concepts. Your books on the history and maps of the Gray Mountains would be most welcomed, as would the books on magic. While I do own an already extensive collection they were of the not so sane cast. It would be nice to have something that isn't in riddles. All the others, the political, the physocological, philosophical, that for the most part is loaded with concepts I am already familar with." Seperating the books into respective stacks. "I shall keep these for now and learn from them, and the others you may keep." Tenting his hands he leaned foward, "So what was this question you have for me?"

"I had been informed that you had conjured something. A demon, as I was told, was summoned. I wished to question you about this. Most specifically about how it was done, what sort of creature you brought forth, and... if you had any hope of controlling the creature brought forth thusly." he said, not bothering to hide the great interest in his eyes or voice. He leaned forward further as he spoke, and watched Quintilius carefully. The younger boy uncmfortably shifted in his seat and stiffled a yawn, still staring down blankly.

Quin laughed, "You had your messenger watch me all through out that conversations that he knows of that and yet didn't tell you about how it was an illusion. Rather strange, I would figure such a being as he not to leave out such details. Summoning demons is not the wisest of things to do but when you have need of putting fear into someone a little trick of the mind works just as well."

He chuckled easily, and then leaned back wiping a drop of sweat from his balding forehead. "Then my mind is at ease. There were some rather unfortunate events long ago on the far side of the mountain when a man did summon his own small army of actual demons, only to find he couldn't control a one of the powerful creatures. Quite a disaster, one which I wouldn't have repeated anywhere." He paused to look over to Richardo, though he didn't shoot him a glare or anything of the like, and then settled himself around again. The large cloaked man by the doorway didn't stir. "That is all I wished to adress, thank you sir. Now, perhaps there is more you wish to ask, or otherwise we may continue on to the pleasentries again or take our leave, at your liking."

"I have no plans for today at the moment, you may take your leave as you please. But I have a few things to take care of in my home. Basic things such as seeing that the accounts are straight." Bowing slightly he excused himself to go about his paper work. 'A fool summons demons to do his bidding and thinks he can control them, does he think me so foolish not to reconize. Rivven is a construct, a hollow body of nature entraping a demon inside. Rivven rebel against you and now you seek to drag him back to your shadows.' he thought to himself as he made his way deaper into his home.

Levaticus sat quietly until Quintilius had left his sight, and then stood quietly and headed for the door, saying only "Fool." to Richardo as he left. The other two filed quietly behind him, and he paced back to the shadows again, stopping as they approached. He took a deep breath and turned to his followers. "We will strike once before this social event, and test what sort of enemy our Areberus is unbound. Richardo, you will continue to look around and keep your eyes open. And Talivar. You will come back with myself to prepare. We will obtain plenty of information without your specialties, and there must be no mistakes when you capture him. Just remember to avoid harming the heart or the brain, those are both most difficult to replace." Richardo nodded, and they all began to sink quickly as the shadow turned to pitch and swallowed them readily. The boy Talivar looked up with his empty gaze and nodded. "We will bring Arberus back at that time with ease, I can feel it still sleeping. We are also prepared to take other choice subjects back to ready further constructs, at your order. There is much energy here. With a good catch it would be not hard to take the mountains completely at last." Levaticus smiled and nodded. "Very good. Be ready for that time."

Morgan walked up the steps, by now familiar, to Quin's estate. Her mind was a little distracted. She had only caught the reception of Mordrid's and Niza's ceremony, and felt guilty. Even though Mordrid had told her he didn't even expect her to show at all. He was so angry now that he had returned. However, today she would be tutoring Quin again. Something she felt she was talented in. Morgan reached it and knocked.

Quin heard the knocking. Tensing up he froze, had they discovered his plot, did they know the trap, did they plan to cut the link. No, they couldn't kill him yet, unless they had already caputred Rivven, untill they had done that they couldn't make a move against him, but what if they thought to compell him to sit back and do nothing in a more forceful way. Calming his nervs down with a glass of wine he made his way to the door. Opening it up to find Morgan standing there he visibly let out a sigh of relief. Motioning for her to come in he glanced around outside, "What brings you here today?"

Something wasn't right, he was wound tighter than anyone she'd laid eyes on in a long time. "Quin," she touched a hand to the side of his face "What's wrong? What's out there?" she let the hand fall to his shoulder, and came in the rest of the way. Rivven hadn't told her much, she couldn't have guessed what Quintilius had been through.

Shutting the door he leaned against it, "They came again, those that seek Rivven, they came and there is another one now, a small silent child with a music box. I don't know if it means anything, Rivven might now." Pointing to the table, "They left me those in payment, but I did lay down the groundworks for the trap but I fear they will strike before then." Sitting down he poured himself more wine as he poured one for Morgan, "Please sit." Setting a glass across from him he dranked his. "I play a fine game, ballancing on the tip of a sword where if I lean too far any way and I'll be cut."

"Oh, oh Mab" she put a hand up to her forehead, and closed her eyes. After a moment they were open again "Yes, I should sit..." Not Rivven, I didn't think it would get so serious. He assured me it was nothing! Morgan started to shake a little, then realized she was about to cry "You're doing all this for him," she replied finally "don't you worry you'll get cut?'

"Of course I do, but I can't do nothing at all. I was the one they contacted first, the one they are trying to bribe and something tells me that they intend to go back on that and potentially kill me. So they are a threat to Rivven, you, and me. Rivven for the sake of his past, you for your closeness to him, and me for being the choosen one to draw him out. I can not take them on by myself so I need others help, but I need to play the game none the less otherwise I'd be dead now surely."

"This is so much. It feels like the past few days, that nothing good has come of them, that no one is going to be happy." she eventually was able to stop shaking, not used to looking in such a rough condition to someone else "It doesn't feel like I'm going to be happy again. I came over here because training someone makes me happy. Quin, thank you for not giving them information about Rivven."

He nodded slowly, excluding the bit of how he told them how Rivven would be at the party he was hosting at the bar in a few days. But then he really wasn't lieing since he had told her how he had laid down the grown works for the trap and he had talked it over with both Rivven and Pale earlier. Better not to worry her then. "This will pass with time. We will all come out alive in the end I'm sure of it, but we must work together." Clapping his hands together and smiling, "You said you came here to train me, well, what do we do today, I humbeling await your teachings." He bowed where he sat.
