Umi smiled at Kyaka, "he's aways cautious, Mell. It's just the way he is." The girl smiled, "So what are you in the mood for? I'm thinking Sushi. Or Miso soup. Or fried rice. Maybe all three.."

Kyaka just smiled pleasantly. "What ever you want." He insisted. He didn't care what he was eating... he wouldn't be focused on the food any way. It would be his last meal with Umi...

Umi looked up at him, "I suppose I'll let Mell pick then." She smiled, thinking as if things for her were going to great from now on. Despite her thoughts, knotes were in her stomach, and a small amount of fear where in the back of her mind.

"She'll never deserve them," Sasha muttered, oblivious to Mistril, whom was next to her. "Not that girl. She makes them all think things, then changes their world entirely. I'm saving them, aren't I?" She questioned her motives. She watched the castle, as if hesitant to enter.
"Alright, alright," Mell muttered, walking to another room, full of utensils and other kitchenware. She started to gather things, then pulled out a large knife. It wasn't much of a knife, but more of a cleaver. She cut the vegetables, anything but reluctant to feel the blade tearing through them. "Almost there, almost there." She thought to herself, filling a pot with water and allowing it to boil. After a few minutes, she started to add flavoring and started to make broth, all the while dropping the cut vegetables into it. After a few minutes of cooking, she added a type of purplish brown powder. "There. That should do it." She muttered.

))Should any one actually check this any more, I'm gonna post ><; Sorry for not posting for so long, but I have my account back!((
Kyaka watched with a suspicious gaze as Mell concocted her food... He really, really, didn't want Umi to eat it. He didn't think that Mell liked him any way, so why not be suspicious of her? "What was that last herb?" He asked, extending his hand reflexively in hopes of catching the potential poison before it was discarded.
He had a natural imunity to many kinds of poisons, so should Mell try to hide it, he would take the first sip of the soup. He wanted to know that he was leaving Umi in a safe place when he left.

"Do you not know your spices?" Mell asked, well, more like lectured, "It's nothing of importance, really. Just a spice to enhance the flavor." She nodded lightly and coughed for a moment from the heat, before turning the stove off and setting the pot down on a counter. "We have to wait for it to cool, however. So don't expect food just yet."
Sasha watched the castle, entering it with ease and sneaking through. When closer to them, she could hear what they said. However, she needed to stay far enough away so that they could not sense her. Such a bother, having to plan things out.
