He's just been in the RRC for three months... and his supply of hair dye has run out. D: And he washed his hair a little too much... he can't help it. He likes soap and bubble bath n' shampoo an' stuff... He's such a girly boy. O: ))

"Noooooo....!!!"

Tristan's eyes were wide open in a flash as Aiden vocalized his distress, however it took a moment for Tristan to register if what he had heard had been in his dreams or if it had come from inside the room. His confusion was cleared however as Aiden fell backwards and landed on the floor with a thud and a squeak.

"What the hell?" He asked as he quickly turned over and sat up. His blue eyes narrowing to focus slightly on the scene before him. Why was... Aiden on the floor? And why did he scream?

What.... are you yelling about?" He asked as gently as he could, trying not to sound as annoyed and baffled as he really was. With his eyebrows furrowed into a frown, Tristan looked around the room quickly only to find that Aiden had not been attacked by anyone or anything and had apparently done the damage to himself.

He offered a hand to the one on the floor and peered at him curiously. Don't tell me this kid is afraid of monsters or something.... He thought silently to himself.

Aiden accepted the help and his cheeks flushed deeply with embarrassment. He knew it must have been... strange... for Tristan. Once he was up and had nothing to fidgit with in order to put of the reason for his outburst - a reason that would, to most other people and certainly those of the RRC, seem stupid - he glanced back up at Tristan.

"Right, uhm... well!!" He glanced behind himself and then hurriedly dashed over to the dresser and took out a hat before shoving it unceremoniously onto his head. It covered his hair... for the most part. "I-I'm sorry for... waking you," he mumbled hurriedly as he made absolutely sure that the hat was on right.

Rubbing his eyes, Tristan blinked a few times before looking back at Aiden in disbelief. "You got that worked up over bed-head?" He asked him with an eyebrow perking in question. Tristan was too new and too tired to comprehend the hair dye situation. Hell, he probably wouldn't have noticed Aiden's hair color change if his life had depeneded on it. He was a typical boy and didn't pay attention to such details.

"S'kay." He replied, trying to fight back a yawn. He then glanced out the window and noticed that the sun had fully risen and that it was probably time to go get ready. He stretched his arms above his head and then scratched his bare back before making any other motions to actually get ready. He wanted to go back to bed... so badly. He cast a quick glance down towards his room before he sighed, walked over to the sink and turned on the water to which he preceeded in dunking his face and head under in order to wake himself up.

Retreating from the cold after a few seconds of self inflicted torment, Tristan gasped air and then shook his head, sending water droplets flying.
"What time is it?" He asked as he grabbed a towel and began to uneventfully ruffle his hair dry (not bothering to clean up the water that had sprayed everywhere). Once he was done, he only gave his head another good shake and the brown locks were back into place. Some people just had it so easy.

Although his wake up call had been less than pleasing, Tristan seemed to have recovered well and was in fact, much more lively than the previous night.

"Hnm... I'm hungry." He mumbled aloud and then walked out of the bathroom to go find a shirt to put on. His attention span seeming to shorten at the thought of breakfast.

Aiden laughed a little uncertainly. "Bedhead... right..." he murmured, looking rather uncomfortable as well as fidgity. It was so embarrassing. First, to have his hair just... die on him. And then to have woken Tristan. As the other completed his waking up process, Aiden slipped out of his PJ pants (boxers still on) and into a pair of very faded and tattered jeans that had several patches sown on them. He slipped on a brightly pale yellow-beigish sort of colored shirt as well as a couple plastc bands around his left wrist.

He kept the hat, which was a leafy sort of green, on and stood idly, waiting for Tristan. "Yeah, uhh... I'm... hungry, too..." he said slowly, eyes darting towards the door. He was almost certain that once the others got a good look at his hair, they would laugh. After all, he had been pink for so long... and now he was fading back to his pale platinum natural.

Liam had no trouble waking up early, or rather, he had trouble staying asleep as his anxiety led to bad dreams and paranoia that his new roommates were going to do something bad to him, like steal or put his hand into warm water - juvenile stuff that no other boy in his late teens would be afraid of. But his lack of sleep didn’t make him look any different from usual. He still looked a bit frazzled and tired, with a hint of dark circles around his eyes that were hidden beneath his veil of hair.
They would be meeting by the stables, he remembered as he got dressed, and that meant that they would either be riding or doing menial labor, neither of which he supposed he minded, but both meant that he should pull his hair back - which he did, in the form of a loose ponytail. Skinny leg jeans, a Viper Room t-shirt and a green fitted jacket completed his ensemble, as well as a pair of oversized dark sunglasses that looked like they might actually be meant for women. He hated waking up just to be blinded by the sun, after all. As he snapped on his beloved watch, he stepped back out into the bedroom, speaking without really looking around. “Are you guys ready to go?” He didn’t want to leave them here without him. Who knows what they might do.

Kindred grunted as Liam asked if they were ready to go. The boy was the fartherst thing from a morning person. Half opened eyes looked at Liam with a mix of confusion and aggrivation. "Ready for what?" he snapped.

Glancing at the clock that was on his new dresser Kindred saw that it was 8:30. "Ah, sh*t. That's right." he muttered and sat up. The thud of his head hitting the wooden beams supporting Gabe's bed should have been enough to wake the other kid up. And if not the stream of sleepy half pronounced curses should have done it too.

"I...hate mornings."

Half-awake, the first noise to signal Gabriel's consciousness was a half-hearted laugh as Kindred slammed his head against the underside of his bed. The mattress overhead creaked and then shuddered as the lean boy stretched his arms and legs and then rolled over onto his side to let his arm drape over the edge of the bed. "You alright down there?" He asked, dipping his head down to fix Kindred with a grin. Aw, come on, if it had been anyone else, Kindred would have had the same sucks-to-be-you jackass smile!

Groggily, he turned blue-gray eyes to Liam and then, as if in response, yawned. He stared in silence for a moment, blinking the sleepy haze from his eyes. Ready for... oh yeah. As he recalled their meeting, he didn't seem as anxious as Kindred to be there on time. With a grunt, he eyed the ladder, sighed, and then shifted his body weight so he could more-so slide down the wooden steps than allow his feet to suffer them. Hitting the ground, he ran a hand through his hair, barely smoothing it down. "Hey, um, aren't you dressed a little nice to be working with horse sh*t?" He asked Liam casually as he passed him, moving to dig through his dresser and pull out something a bit more reasonable. Loose-fitting jeans (complete with small splotched stain on the thigh), a pair of black boxer shorts, socks, and a black short-sleeved shirt with white accents under the arms and down his sides that looked more like it had been manufactured for athletic wear rather than day-to-day.

As he readied himself in the bathroom, he was surprised to find the sink wasn't absolutely covered in cosmetic products, though the plethora of soaps and shampoos made him raise a brow and swallow a sigh. He let curiosity guide his hand for a few minutes, looking over some of the more interestingly labelled bottles before, bored and worried about Liam throwing himself into the bathroom squealing about his stuff, he gathered his pajamas (read: boxers) and headed back into the bedroom. Tossing the dirty clothes in what would soon grow to be an impressive pile to the right of the dresser, he glanced in the mirror, finger combed his hair into place, and then started to search for his black hoodie. Once found, he pulled it on and invited himself to sit upon Kindred's bed as he pulled on his sneakers. "Ready when ever you are..."

By the look on Justin's face as he approached the stable, one would have assumed that someone had puked right infront of him or that he had come across a rotten corpse. He instantly regretted his decision to wake up early and get there and be done with whatever Abby had in store.

"God! This place smells like s**t!" He cursed with distaste and then narrowed his eyes at the first horse he saw, blaming it mentally for the smell. Side-stepping 'land mines' and mumbling under his breath, Justin walked into the stable with a childish 'I don't want to do this' look plastered onto his face.

Abby didn't seem to notice. "Good Morning, Justin!" She greeted him happily. "How did you sleep?"

Justin replied with a grunt of what could have been 'ok' before his attention was brought back to the horses as one of them snorted and sent him running back a few steps.

"It ******** growled at me!" He exclaimed, wide eyed as he looked back to Abby.

Abby, although normally not a fan of cursing, didn't correct the young man as she held back her laughter as best she could at the teen's obvious lack of horse sense.

"He didn't growl at you. He just snorted. He's harmless, I promise." She reasured him and then motioned to a small table which had a variety of doughnuts and muffins on it along with a jug of coffee , orange juice, and milk.

"Want some breakfast?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

After snatching up a random band T shirt and pulling it over his head, Tristan walked out of the door and took a deep breath in. It was a warm day for September and so it still smelled like summer. Looking back over his shoulder, he noticed the obvious reluctancy to go outside on Aiden's face and he turned to face him. He was about to pry about what the boy was so sheepish about but then he saw Justin heading down to the stables and his expression darkened slightly.

"So uh... what have you guys done in the past with these 'events'?" He asked curiously, his attention wandering. He did not like the idea of dealing with Justin so early in the morning but it looked like he didn't have any choice.

Aiden reluctantly followed the other, hat pulled all the way down over his head so that it hid as much of his hair as possible. He glanced up at Tristan, meeting the other's bright blue eyes with his own pale ones, and shrugged. "Just... stuff. It seems kind of random, actually... I suppose they're supposed to build our community spirit... or something like that? Some sort of activity that's supposed to help us 'get used to other people and not be jack asses.'" Of course, as he said this, he was eyeing Justin... which may or may not have acounted for his words. He yawned slightly.

"Nnn... hope there's food in there. I'm starving."

Kindred gave a glare to Gabe as he removed his hand from his throbbing forehead. With yet another grunt he sat up, ducking down some as to not repeat his last attempt. Gabe entered the bathroom and left Kindred in a rather awkward silence with Liam.

The boy stood and walked to the back pack that had been moved from his old single to the new triple. Inside were all his wordly possesions: a few more shirts and pairs of boxers, one pair of jeans, a few stolen library books, a toothbrush and a watch. Grabbing a plain green shirt and some blue boxers, he made a note that he would have to ask Abby for some more clothes.

He glanced at the locked bathroom door and then shrugged. He peeled off his current shirt and replaced it with the green one. Thne he moved towards the cloest Liam had claimed, opening the door to sheild him from view. "No peeking." Kindred said, half jokingly, half really warning Liam. There he quickly changed his pants and boxers.

When gabe emerged, Kindred enetred the bathroom to brush his teeth. not having his own toothpaste he grabbed whatever was on the sink, not sure if it was Gabe's or Liam's. "O'll be eady in a econd." he said, mouth full of foam.

Did birds have an off button? -Because if they didn't shut up soon, he was going to get a machine gun from.....somewhere..... and do.....something.

He groggily sat up, staggered to the window (all the while simultaneously glaring at the light and shielding his eyes from it) and roared, "SHUT THE ******** UP, BIRDS!"

Glorious silence. For all of two seconds. Then the damned avians decided to make even more noise! Just to spite him!

Seamus shook his head vigorously and slapped his cheeks. He might as well get ready, since a quick look at the clock said it was 9:15. Something was nagging at him about that, but he couldn't figure out what it was.

Hopefully a shower would wake him up.

((sorry for the crappy post, but I'm literally walking on sunshine, since House won the Golden Globe award against Grey's Anatomy! Woot! 3nodding ))

“At least I’ll look good while we’re at it,” Liam smiled to Gabriel in what was possibly the first positive thing he said about himself in days. He was quite the fashionista despite his inability to fold a shirt, but he just told himself that the wrinkled look was in. It made him look like he didn’t care as much as he did.

He wondered why it took the other boys so long to get dressed. He had been up for awhile, done his stretches while the others slept, then ate the other half of his sandwich before he finally got dressed - in an outfit that he didn’t think was too -nice- like the other boy seemed to think.

At Kindred’s warning, he nodded his head. He didn’t want anyone peeking at him either, so it didn’t seem like a strange request. But as he waited for them to finish dressing, his mind wandered. How long would it take them to do this little... get together? Just thinking about it made him tired, and he glanced around over at his desk, finding a recent issue of “Star” sitting with his school books. He didn’t remember reading this one. “Oh Angelina...” he murmured as he rolled it up and tucked it in his back pocket, “Who have we adopted this week...”

Well, that was all he needed. Clapping his hands together, he felt himself begin to get jittery. The sooner they got this over with, the better. “Okay, Let’s go, Let’s go!”

((Liam needs some chill pills. Or perhaps jell-o made in small enough bundles that it looks like chill pills. It's certainly cold enough. O: ))

Orpheus was, of course, still asleep. He was most certainly not a light sleeper and had been known to still be found unconscious after having been yelled at continuously for about fifteen minutes by his father, who had, over the years, become increasingly hoarse. Not only did he ignore him, he ignored the stupid birds and any alarm clocks that came his way. He had, on occasional, broken several, anyway.
