 Sondra defeated Sumomo!  Recieved the Cobble Badge! Also recieved a TM!  TM60 Drain Punch was added to bag! All Pokemon that fought +15 EXP!

That was the hardest fight she had ever been in, and she knew that the coming battles would probably be worse. She knew that her Pokemon could handle it. She looked at the town map and saw that she could go to Johto from this town if she chose. She took a minuet to decide whether or not to stay in Shinou aand get these badges, or go back to her homeland.

Kaze landed in Veilstone, Chloe hopping off of his back and recalling the Charizard so as to not create a scene. However, when she looked around, she noticed that there really wasn't anyone at all around the streets of the normally bustling city.
"Okay, something's definitely going on here," she murmured. "Alright, so I'll take on the gym first to get that out of the way, then I'll explore a bit and see what I can find..."

Kaze was a bit more exited, seeing a tougher Pokemon facing him than he had in the past few battles. "Alright, Flare Blitz!" Chloe requested. ((-100 from Machoke, 130/230 left)) The blast of fire engulfed the Machoke, who came out from the blast a bit scorched, but clearly willing to continue the fight, which had Kaze ecstatic. None of the other gym leaders could have survived a blow from the Charizard. "Looks like we're getting to more worthy trainers," Chloe grinned, happy as well. The battle against Gardenia had seemed a bit unfair from her viewpoint. "Alright Machoke, use Revenge!" Maylene demanded. Empowered by the blow from Kaze, the Machoke struck back with more force than it normally would have. However, Kaze was still a Flying type, so the attack did little damage. ((Kaze's resistant to Fighting type moves, -30 from Kaze, 630/660)) "Alright, keep at it, Kaz, use another Flare Blitz!" Chloe called to her partner, Kaze nodded, a fanged grin appearing before it vanished, as another blast of fire engulfed the Machoke. ((-100 from Machoke, 30/230 left)) The Machoke was clearly weakened, however it was not about to give up. Maylene ordered her partner forward once again. "Use Revenge again, it might not do much, but its the best we've got!" ((Kaze's resistant to Fighting type moves, -30 from Kaze, 600/660)) "Alright Kaz, you can finish this up, use Dragon Claw!" Chloe ordered. The Charizard leaped eagerly forward, slashing at the Machoke, who couldn't endure the hit, and fell to the arena floor, defeated. Kaze was struck, for the first time in a long time with a full force blast that was enough to shake his footing. However, the Charizard was only all the more eager to continue fighting after the smoke had cleared. He was raring to go, the blaze on the tip of his tail flaring brightly as he readied to attack again. ((-60 from Kaze, 540/660 left)) "Alright Kaz, I know you can take this one too, Flare Blitz again!" Chloe smiled, glad to see her Charizard was having a fun time. ((-100 from Meditite, 60/260 left)) "Secret Power again, wear it down a little more!" Maylene called. The small fighter nodded, releasing another powerful blast of power from within. ((-60 from Kaze, 480/660 left)) Kaze grinned, weakened a bit further, but enjoying himself way too much to grow tired. Chloe shook her head, smile flickering on her lips for a moment, before she continued the fight with her next orders. "Alright, you'll be able to finish this one off with the next blow as well. Use Dragon Claw again!" she called. Kaze once again eagerly flew forward at surprising speed to finish off this round with another slash of his claws, which glowed blue with the power of the dragons. Chloe smiled, spotting the steel-fighting type that appeared, not only because she knew Kaze's flame would do incredible damage on it, but because she had always loved Lucario. Making a mental note to catch one or a Riolu one day, she motioned Kaze forward. "This one won't be too hard of a challenge, but keep alert! Use Flare Blitz again to start things off!" Kaze nodded, charging up another incredible blast of fire. ((Super effective, -200 from Lucario, 70/270 left)) The Lucario fell to one knee, weakened considerably from that one blow, but it struggled to its feet, unwilling to give up the match. Maylene encouraged her partner, "Hang in there, use Metal Claw!" She knew the Steel Type move would do little damage, but it was the best thing she could use. ((Kaze's resistant to Steel moves, -18 from Kaze, 462/660 left)) "This has been a fun fight," Chloe smiled, "But we'll have to finish this up. Kaze, show your appreciation, finish it off quick with one last Flare Blitz!" As the Chariard fired off his last attack, he nodded to the Lucario and Maylene, offering his thanks for a tougher fight than usual. ((Super effective, -200 from Lucario, 0/270 left)) The Lucario nodded in mutual agreement, before it fell to the ground, defeated. Chloe has beaten Maylene!
