The tour ended, and Anklina found herself standing by the Kaputops fossil once again. Jana had dissapeared, leaving Anklina to wonder. She hoped maybe after she could go to the underground she'd find a fossil of the Kabuto. That be amazing. Turning away from the fossil, and started for the door, Pinnka held tightly in her arms.

As Anklina exited the town she though that Pinnka still needed experiance.. Then it popped into her mind. "Lets go to the mines, Pinnka." Anklina said, Pinnka looked up with a chirp. Anklina smiled, and turned dow nthe path twords the mines. There were bound to be Geodude, and Onix in the mine.

The mines were dimely lit, and you could barely see all the way down the stairs into the second chamber. Machomp, and Machoke were running around carrying boulders, and small carts of rocks. Anklina decended down the stairs wondering of how she'd battle Roark. He wasn't that strong of a trainer, Pinnka and her water attacks could wipe him clean, but he was rather cunning like his father, she noted a good fire-type would be needed agenst him, even if she didn't really like fire-types. It still be smart to have one.

As they continued in the mines, something dark approached from behind anklina. She didn't know of the thing, and Pinnka was rather distracted by the shine of the mine walls. So as they walked the dark shadow followed.

The shadow appeared to be a wild Zubat!

It was after Anklina turned around did she noticed the shadow following. "What are you!" She shouted, and a screech came back in reply. It turned out to be a Zubat. "Oh, another Zubat. Let's let Singa get abit of fight into this one okay?" Anklina told Pinnka. She set Pinnka down, and pulled Singa's poke'ball off her belt, then let the poke'mon out. Singa let out a wild chirp, and Anklina issued the first attack. "Hit it with a Growl!" Singa opened her mouth to let out a growl, it connected, and the Zubat sent a Leech life attack, that also connected. Singa squinted and replyed with a cry, Anklina knew her poke'mon wouldn't last another attack. Pinnka now it's your turn!

"Pinnka use pound!" Anklina called out. Pinnka nodded, and ran at the zubat, it launched another leech life attack at Pinnka. Anklina watched as her poke'mon collided with the Zubat just it send out the leechlife attack.
Zubat 20/50

"Pinnka another pound attack!" After regaining her posture Piplup ran at the Zubat again, and hit it dead on, it's flapping around preventing it another attack. Pinnka herself nearly missed, but was able to hit just between the wing, and it's body. The zubat fellt the the mine floor exsausted. Anklina picked up both pinnka, and Singa and ran off.
Zubat fainted. +3 Experience to both Pinnka and singa.

After using a potion on both Singa and Pinnka, Anklina recalled Singa. "That was a cool battle, but I hope I don't have to battle another zubat... There kinda annoying." Anklina said with a sigh. Pinnka who was right next to her nodded, and gave a light chirp. Looking around the mine where she sat she thought of what to do next, Pinnka still didn't know a water-type attack so she'd have to wait a while longer. Sighing again she got up and picked Pinnka up. "Let's keep exploring." She said. Pinnka gave another happy chirp.

Deeper in the mines workers were husseling around like crazy. Some Tamed Onix were creating new tunnels while machamp put up wooden stops to keep the ceiling from falling in. Anklina stayed on the otherside of the mine as they worked, she didn't feel like getting yelled at. She stoped in a good place, it wasn't in anyones way, and she could see the whole mine around her. Sitting down she let Pinnka go. Pulling out her sketch book she decided to do some more drawing.

Her drawing come along just fine, Anklina took alittle break to see where Pinnka was. The penguin poke'mon didn't move very far. She was playing with her doll over with a machop. Noone seemed to mind, so she let it go. Returning to her drawing she started sketching the working Machamps once again.

Pinnka returned to Anklina when the Machop was sent back to work, and Anklina pulled in Pinnka so she could look at the picture too. Pinnka liked it, and gave a happy chirp. Anklina pulled out her coloured pencils and placed them on the mine floor. "What colour should I make the Machamp?" Anklina asked Pinnka. The little poke'mon pciked up the colour Royal blue with her beak and dropped it in Anklina's hands. "Nice pick." Anklina smiled, and started to colour in the Machamp.

Pinnka had already picked out a Timberwolf colour for the Onix by the time Anklina had finished with the Machamp. Taking the coloured pencil kindly she started to colour in the poke'mon. Little to their knowledge there was another poke'mon interested in the art of Anklina.

Pinnka was such a wonderfull helper, within notime the picture had been done, and coloured. Anklina showed it to Pinnka, and she chirped happly at the outcome. It looked so real. Anklina packed away the coloured pencils and her sketchpad. "Well, let's get back to town." Anklina said, not really bored of the mines, but rather she just wanted to see some sunlight.
The poke'mon still interested in Anklina's art followed closely.

It was when Anklina turned around to get one last look at the tunnel she noticed the low to the ground shadow hiding behind a rock. At first she thought it was just the Machop being shy, but then she saw the same machop with it's trainer carrieing some rocks. "I hope it's not another Zubat..." Anklina called out. She set Pinnka down and the penguin poke'mon steped foward.

A screech came, and Anklina's fears where met... It was yet again another Zubat. "Why am I so attached to Zubats?" Anklina asked aloud, Frustrated she pulled out a poke'ball. "Maybe if I catch one they'll leave me alone." She called out with a sigh.... "Piplup hit it with a...." Before she could call the attack, Pinnka had sent out a stream of bubbles that slamed into the poke'mon. "Bubble attack? When did you learn that?" Anklina asked her companion. The poke'mon turned around and shruged. Zubat regained it's posture and sent out a Leech life attack. Pinnka being distracted was hit, but not down.
Zubat - 30/50
Pinnka - 40/60
"Pinnka another Bubble attack!" Anklina called out, Pinnka reared back, and let out another streem of water, and it hit the zubat, it sent out another Leech life attack, hitting Pinnka just the same.

"Time to send out a poke'ball!" Anklina called out reaching for an empty poke'ball in her backpack. "This Zubat is mine!" She called out sending the poke'ball at the Zubat.

The poke'mon was caught in the poke'ball and it now up to fate if she'd have the Zubat added to her roster of friends. Anklina couldn't wait for ball to land on the ground, it seemed like forever. Before the first click came.
