Kyna thought it over. "It'll work," she said. "But take Griffin with you, will you? I have my own protector." She smiled. "How do you think I've been able to get around this long without knowing how to fight?"

Sora shruged. "I've known many people that don't know how to fight, and yet they are still alive..." he said. "And kit stays." He added. Then pointing down a steet indicating where she should go, and then walked off another street. Compleatly disaprearing from anyone's veiw. Sticking to the shadows that he knew so well. Sorry Eli... But it's for a good cause... He couldn't help but think. Placing a hand over where some of his daggers were, as he went.

Kyna sighed and looked down at Griffin. "He's underestimating me, isn't he?" she asked it as she started to walk down the street he'd pointed to. Her wind swirled a warning, telling her that the woman had fallen for the bait and was following Kyna, who sighed again.
"What's this?" Kaiya wondered aloud, frowning. "A trap?" She laughed very quietly. "Oh, you silly, silly children." She jumped to the next roof, then the next, following the wind witch. After the third roof, when she saw the air stir the girl's hair, she slipped down into a crouch, hidden behind a chimney, waiting for the witch's companion to make his move. Children, she snorted inside her head. Like this trap wasn't entirely obvious. Kaiya knew, of course, that anyoen else would have fallen for the trap. But she was trained to watch for such things, since she was tiny. Plus, she'd had it happen to her many times before. So Kaiya just sat there and waited. "Children are easy enough to kill."
Kyna frowned, looking at the invisible air around her. "What do you mean?" she demanded softly. Kaiya's last words came floating to her ear, along with an image of her lounging around. "Oh, that's just great." She rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Why do we have to deal with a professional?" she muttered. "Griffin, go find Sora, will you? Tell him that the woman's waiting for him already. On... that roof." She pointedat the roof the wind indicated. "Go on!" She turned and ran down the street, to the next crossroad, not waiting to see if Griffin would follow her instructions or not. There was a ladder going up to the roof leaning againt a building. Kyna started climbing it, to see if she could surprise the woman.

No he isn't... The kit thought to it's self as they walked on. Meanwhile Sora was already on the roof, hidding compleatly in the shadows so no one could see him. He watched as the woman crouched behind the chimney. She was clearly waiting for something. Probably smart and realized what we were doing. So she's probably waiting for one of us or something. Sora snorted in his head, trying slightly not to chuckle. It had been a long time since he had run into one of these types of people. Meanwhile on the street, the kit was startled by the girl's outburst. But he already knows!!! Wait!!! NO!!! We need to stick to the plan!!!! It despretly wanted to say to her, as it ran after her, keeping pace. Where in the hells are they going!?!!?! Sora in the mean time thought to himself as he saw the two of them run off. Damn it... Why does this always happen to me? Never happens to Azreal... Always has to happen to me... Sora couldn't help but mutter in the end. Holding in a sigh that wanted to be let out.

Kyna sat on the edge of the roof. "And I'm stuck!" she shispered to herself, the wind catching her words and keeping them close to her. She shrugged. "May as well play it by ear." Smiling, she stood and walked along the roof, heading in the direction the wind told her to go. When she was able to see the woman, she directed a thread of wind to circle around her head, throwing dust into her eyes, effectively blinding her, and keeping sound from reaching her. "That should help some, at least."
Kaiya swatted at her eyes, which started to tear up, but didn't completely close them, as the wind witch obviously expected her to do. So what if I can't see or hear? I've never bothered to work like that. Her eyes stayed open, watchful. "You're dumber than I thought," she called to the witch. She was guessing the girl was nearby, controlling the silly little wind. "You really think this'll help anything?" She stood up, throwing her hair out of her eyes. "Come on, attack me, if you dare," Kaiya challenged. "You and your little boyfriend."
Kyna shook her head. "Really, so conceited," she murmured, sitting down where she was. "I think I'll sit here and let her get annoyed with losing her main senses."

"Boyfriend!?!!? Who said anything about boyfriend!?!?!" Sora blurted out suddenly when he had just managed to sneak up almost 3 feet behind her with a dagger in hand. Oopps.... He then thought. You can say that again... The kit thought, standing at Kyna's feet.

Kyna glared at Sora. "Nimrod! Who cares what you say, she can't hear!" she snapped. "Get her already!"
"Stupid little wind witch," Kaiya sang out, pulling out her own daggers. "You really thin your magic works all the well on me?" She laughed. "Please. You underestimate me."
Kyna's breath puffed out, pushing her hair from her face. She closed her eyes, took a breath, and smiled brightly. "I suppose you're right,"she said, flipping her hand to call off the wind. "How about we talk?"
"Better," Kaiya said. She sheathed her blades. "What would you like to talk about?"
Kyna's twisted her hands in two quick gestures. The woman's dagger sslid from their sheathes and over to Kyna, who caught them one-handed and dropped them on the floor. "Your surrender," she said brightly.
Kaiya snorted. "A parlor trick. I've seen better magic-workers than you performing on a stage."
"Have you, now? Good for you," Kyna said pleasantly. "If you're not going to surrender, go off and find something else to do." She flipped her hands and the wind picked Kaiya up and carried the woman down to the ground. "Bye now!" Kyna called, waving cheerily. "See you next time!"
Kaiya turned and glared at the wind witch. "You win this time," she yelled up. "I'll get you, though. Just you wait!" She stalked off, graceful as a cat.
"Well, that was fun," Kyna said cheerfully, turning to Sora. "What next?"

Sora slightly watched the whole thing. Surprised like hell that the girl had not attacked him the second that he spoke. He also slightly scolded himself for talking in the first place. He should have known by now not to do that. After all he was a professional. "What now? You do realize that she will be back right?" Sora asked Kyna, surprised she had even let the girl go. Why did she let her go!?!!?!?! We had her!!!!! That could have been the end of all of this!!!! The kit was meanwhile slightly ranting.

Kyna shrugged. "What's your point?" she asked. "She wants something from me, I know that much. Else we'd both be dead. Don't you think?" She looked off in the direction the woman had gone. She lifted a hand, pointing. "Gon on, follow her," she whispered. "I want to know what she wants." A small thread of wind went in the direction Kyna pointed. "There, happy? She's being watched," she said, turning back to Sora. "If she makes a move to come near me again, I'll know."

"Yes but why does she want something from you. It doesn't make any sence. And for some reason I don't think either of us would be dead." Sora muttered. He then watched her for a moment very closely. "I had always wondered what it would be like meeting someone from the different elemental houses would be like. I guess wind is now one i can cross off the list..." He then said slightly boldly to her. Finally being able to figure it all out. Then turning and starting to walk back to the Inn with Kit. House of wind? The kit asked slightly confused. Aye... As we knew before, the rules are different in this world compaired to our own. Now I know why that birth mark showed up, where one was never before. Sora thought to the kit. I don't get it... What do you mean? The rules don't seem that different. There are magic users here, as there were in Solstice, and everywhere else for that matter... The kit thought. Basically here their more defined. She can control the wind. I'm sure there are others who can control other elements. It only makes sence. Which by that birthmark could mean that I'm with shadow. Which only makes even more sence. Although after Eli i'm almost a little surprised... Sora thought sadly. So someone could control me? The kit thought paniced. No. no one ever has, and no one ever will my little friend. Sora thought, wondering in the back of his mind, if Kyna was following them or not. Also what would occure now that he knew what she was.

Kyna followed a little distance behind Sora, wondering how she felt about letting him find out that she had magic. In the past, whenever someone had found out she had magis, they treated her... differently. And when they figured out how her magic manifesteed... well, they were none too happy. She remembered a few nighttime runs and shuddered. After the second time that had happened, Kyna had stopped making her magic so obvious. Sensing her mood, the wind swirled casually around her, stirring her hair and making her smile. "It was probably just those towns," she thought aloud, quietly. She sighed. "I don't know what I'll do if it happens again."

Finally Sora looked back, and was relieved to see that Kyna was still following them. She had may be been a magic user, but he still didn't want that girl to get her. Probably wasn't my best of ideas. Forcing her out like that with magic. Now she probably will never trust me... He couldn't help but think. I should have known better. Especially after all that has occured with Tara. With all of us for that matter... He then thought with a deep sigh. It seems common here though... Why should she hide it? Or for what reason is she doing so? He then couldn't help but think as they continued to walk on.

Kyna's head snapped up. She looked toward where her little strand of wind had gone, following the woman. "...Oh, you're kidding," she muttered. She shook her head, as if trying to deny it. "That stupid coward of a woman." She caught up with Sora. "We may have to leave after all," she remarked brightly. "Well, I will, at the least. That woman told some man that hired her about me. The wind sensed... something about him. It refuses to go back. Do you know how little can spook the wind?" She realized she was babbling nervously, and shut her mouth. This isn't good, she thought.

Sora looked at her. "Probably just a little bit less that can scare kit." He muttered. "Why are you so afraid? Why do you feel like you have to run?" He asked her. "That is if you don't mind me asking..." he then added watching her, and stoping in the street.

Kyna shook her head fervently. "You don't know the wind like I do," she told him. "The only times I've ever seen it get anxious is when it thinks I'm in trouble. And it's never refused the chance to go scouting. Ever. This person has to be bad." She glanced over her shoulder. Please go check? she asked. The wind twirled around her, agitated. Finally, it swept off, turning up dust as it went. Kyna sighed, somewhat relieved. Maybe it wasn't as agitated as she'd first thought.
