After about ten minutes or so, Keegan got up out of bed an headed to the bathroom, eager to see what sort of damage had been done to him. He laughed out loud at his own appearance, prodding his swollen left eye gently with a finger. "Can't say when the last time I had one of these was," he nodded to the Vulpix, who'd been following him everywhere. "I reckon a shiner like this one makes me look like a boxer or something." His jaw was tender too, but thankfully he hadn't lost any teeth. He went back to the room he'd been resting on, thinking he'd put the shirt back on, but quickly changed his mind when he saw what kind of shape it was in. Bloody, muddy, and ripped in several places, he shrugged and threw it out before he made his way back to the lost and found, rummaging around until he found a decent black shirt (a little tight, but hey, who cared at this point?). He'd make due with the pants he had on, although he did swipe a drawstring from a pair of shabby track pants and threaded it through the belt loops. It looked sort of tacky, but at least his pants wouldn't be falling down anymore. Helios jumped from the bed and onto his shoulder as he went out to the main room of the Pokemon Center, carrying his backpack with one hand. He gave a slight wave to the kind nurse, and went outside, his intentions set on finding the nearest laundromat.

He bought a small box of laundry detergent, got some of his notes changed into coins, and filled one of the free washing mashines, dumping in the soap and putting in the coins as he started up the machine. Helios curled up on a nearby chair and took in the sights and sounds of the laundromat, and Keegan decided to release Althena. The Psyduck looked around happily, and wandered off to do some exploring. Keegan watched her padding around, interacting with everyone she met, eyes wide as saucers. "And to think I once thought I'd never like water types."
"Vull!" Helios cried in agreement, his six tails swishing back and forth contentedly, his eyes fixed on the washing machine.

Kilik turned heel and walked back to the table. Weezing had been knocked onto the floor and Flareon wore a triumphant look. The boy took the Egg up and held it in one hand, turning it and staring at it. It wiggled slightly in his touch. The Pokemon inside seemed to be begging to get out, and yet it wanted to stay inside. He rubbed the top of it with his other hand and felt it quiver to his touch. "Strange thing, Pokemon Eggs," he told Flareon, "They're all unique. The markings on them," he sighed, "the Pokemon inside different every time." His stomach growled again and he set the Egg in his lap, taking a large bite out of his sandwich.

The washer gave a chime, signalling it was finished. Keegan quickly transferred them to a dryer, inserting a few more coins as he did so, then went back to the game of hide and seek he'd been playing with Althena. It was rather one sided, since she was doing all the hiding. He got down on his hands and knees, looking under bins and tables, and he saw the little yellow Pokemon duck under a pile of clothes on the floor. He smiled, and shook his head. He got to his feet, groaning a little, and walked over, pulling her out. "You shouldn't go in there," he told her, and she yawned, loudly, cuddling up against him. Keegan carried her over to Helios and set her down next to the Vulpix, who moved over a bit to make room.

The Ariados shot of a Night Shade right at Shadow. The dark aura covered him and seemed to do quite the amount of damage. "Arg. I always hated that move. Stupid antidefense ones." Mag muttered as his pokemon quickly moved in on the final foe. The bug shot away using a String Shot and moved out of reach temporarily as it used Night Shade once more.
"Come on. Okay you two Helping Hand and Quick Attack!" Mag commanded. Shining let a ring of light balls appear around herself as Shadow swiftly moved up the tree. The energy balls converged on him as he boosted into the Ariaods. It fell to the ground unconscious.
"Oh shiznitzerfranks!" Steve shouted as his two comrades glared at him. "You may have won this round but next time!" The bug catcher yelled as the three ran off into the bushes. "Wait what about my prize?!" Mag exclaimed running to the area. But it was a lost cause the woods grew too thick for him to find any sign. "Oh well that is just great."
Mag looked to his two Eevee who were poking at some shining objects on the ground. "What did you find?" Mag asked as he walked over. The two quickly picked up the shinines and ran out of reach. A slight ringing was heard. "HEY!" Mag told happily chasing after the two miscrients.
"Looks like we got something good afterall, two Soothe Bells! Their pokemon must have dropped them in the fight or something." Mag told the Eevee once he captured the squirming pokemon. He let them go and began to go through the Viridian Forest once more the two at his heels.

It suddenly hit him like a bag of bricks. What if he was in Nina's position? What if someone he loved died, like Mitsu or Kasiya or...Flannery? Mike bit his lip, not wanting to feel sorry for himself anymore. He stood up, wobbling back and almost falling down again. "I don't care what she says; Nina isn't strong enough to go in there alone." Wiping the tears from his eyes, he adjusted his hat. "Even though she *sniff* said some horrible things, I don't want her getting hurt." The boy wiped the rest of the sadness from his face, holding out a hand for Kasiya. "I can't do this alone." Mike looked at Flannery; surely a Gym Leader would be a huge asset in this fight.

He sat in his chair, his elbows on the desk and his body lurched forward. He stared directly over his ringed fingers at the door. Giovanni felt a twinge in his stomach again. It wasn't fear; nor was it guilt. It was excitement. Whatever he felt was about to happen, he was excited about it. The man smirked darkly.

"You should teach your Meowth some manners." Winona sneered from her side of the Gym. She unclipped a Pokeball from her belt, a devious smile crossed her lips. "You must think I've got nothing but Pidgeys and Spearows." A sinister laugh escaped her as she threw out her first Pokemon. "Go Aerodactyl!" The pokeball flew, releasing a rather intimidating Pokemon. It shrieked loudly, a peircing scream shaking the Gym. "Aaero!"
Winona looked smug, she crossed her arms and waited for Dante to choose his Pokemon.

((Hope that last post was okay. I didn't really know of anywhere to buy the bells so I thought winning em instead of cash would work. sweatdrop ))
Mag trudged through the forest once more. There wasn't much too look at as he moved on. A few bugs crept out here and there. There were several trainers about but Mag was not in the mood for a normal battle. He wanted to move on to the gym in Pewter.
"Hm. This could be a challenge." Mag said as he stopped to rest. His two Eevee companions jumping around playfully. "I only have one pokemon that can even dent his team. You guys could help if you evolved into something." Mag said to the two pokemon. They tilted their heads and listened.
"But I'm not going to wait for that. I'll just have to push through with Sunfire and then use Tsunami to clean up." Mag said releasing his other two pokemon. "You guys ready to take on that rocky guy?" Mag asked. "Flare!" Sunfire shouted as Tsunami added a "Vaporeon!" into the mix.

Kasiya wiped her eyes with one hand, allowing Mike to help her up. "Yeah, with Giovanni, we need all the muscle we can get," Kasiya added with a smile, deciding to follow Mike's example, and wipe away her sadness. "Nina needs us, whether she realizes it or not." She rubbed her hands together. He's not gonna be too thrilled to see me so soon, she thought, remembering very clearly the look on the Rocket boss's face when he pulled the gun on her.

(( Don't remeber where I left off~ ))
Mitsu pushed open the doors to her bedroom, everything had been left untouched as usual. She threw herself onto the plush, purple bed spread, folding her arm behind her head. She had spent the last few days or weeks, she didn't really know, just with her Pokemon. I wonder how things are with everyone else. She sat up, crossed her legs in the Indian style. Removing the Pokeballs from her belt she placed all 6 of them across her bed in from of her. "Karri, Ebony, Ivy, Sapphire, Zypher, and Haku," she said naming each one as her eyes glanced over them.

While running in guns blazing was Mike's usual method, he decided to break away from that, slightly. "Giovanni I hear specializes in ground type Pokemon. That means my best bets are..." He glanced over at Nitro, giving him a thumbs up. "A flying type and a water type." Against his better judgment he sent out Xanthos again. The dark crab Pokemon scraped the ground with his feet, looking at his trainer. "Craaw!" He cried, wanting to tear something up.
Mike glanced back down. "We can have some fun in a moment, but for now I need you to behave and do exactly as I tell you." The Crawduant smashed the ground with his claws, clearly not happy to be held back.
"Do it, or it's back in the ball with you and you won't fight at all!" Mike's tone became stern and forceful. Xanthos eyed his trainer carefully, quietly walking over to his side. "That's a good Pokemon; you may have a shred of obedience in you yet." He pat his Crawduant, who while he wouldn't admit it, was happy for some kind attention.

Upon hearing her comment Meowth stuck his tounge out at her again. "And you should get something other then flying pokemon." The smart alick act shot back. Dante only sighed not getting into the fight between the gym leader and his pokemon.
Seeing he Aerodactyl come out he raised an eyebrow slighlty at it befor smirking. "Well I haven't seen one of those since I last saw my mom." He looked at the ancient pokemon. "And I must say that her's is better trained then your's is." Reaching to his belt he pulled out Shiva's pokeball and tossed it out revealing the happy pokemon. Shiva seeing her enemy let out a loud bark and stared at it determinedly.

Mitsu selected two of the six Pokeballs, placing the rest onto her belt and Karri's around her neck. After stocking up on some food and supplies she stepped out of the house breathing in the salty sea air. "C'mon out Zypher and Haku!" Mitsu shouted tossing the two Pokeballs into the air. Zypher flew around in small circles high above in the sky, the silve Soothe Bell jingling in the wind. Mitsu held the baby Pokemon in her arms trying to decide where to go next.

A bit intimidated by the sudden appearance of a Xanthos, Kasiya took a few steps back. Her mind replayed the incident where Hiro had been absolutely clobbered by a Crawdaunt. "New friend?" she asked, looking a bit nervous.
Flannery looked around, and folded her arms. "So what's the plan, then?" she asked.
