My dad just got back from Japan three days ago from a trip for work.
He said there were tons of people lining up.

My friend heard about people who ran through the PS3 exibit to get to the Wii. Face it, the Wii is more popular. Sure, Sony and Microsoft have their fan bases, but Nintendo's system costs the least, is rumored to be indestructable (not literaly), and will have the games that everyone wants from them.
