She wanted to ask if maybe it could be their father or a relative but she sheepishly kept it to herself. Teule sirked and let out yet another triumphant roar and started sprinting towards the water, eyes finding the blue sparkle in the distance. Taka shrugged and smiled at Yakuti weakly, wondering if she had the same thoughts on the familiar scented lion, as well.

Yakuti was thinking the same thing.. and figured it best to move on wether it was or not so she kept her muzzle shut. She returned the smile, though confused at why she was being smiled at.
Wokovu blinked watching the two speed past him "hey wait up!" He growled playfully and took off after them, catching up in a few seconds. As soon as they got to the blue life giving liquid he jumped into the small pool making a small splace to hit the others. He didn't know how precious the water was out here.

Jasi hit the water with a loud roar (well, atleast loud for a cub) and began swiming aorund in the deep cooling waters. She swam out a little, but then quickly swam back in where she could touch the bottom. She stared down at the water, the image of herself reflecting in it.For a moment she thought about her mother, how she had thoughs same violet eyes, but then stopped. She was having fun and didnt want to spoil it. She started to splash the other two.

Teule was a litte iffy about getting into thw water and instead stayed by the waters' edge and lapped the refreshing liquid up. He backed up laughing as the water hit him, matting up his fur and a bit of Taka's, too, but cared little and instead watched the playing cubs pleasantly. inching away from the cubs after a second, she held her head near Yaku's ear.
"Do you think..that lion we smelt eariler was...there father?"

Wokovu laughed taking a few laps at the water before getting splashed by jasi, he frowned at her the small mane of sorts taht was atop his head now dripping into his eyes and he gave her a full paw-spash back, laughing a bit. "Hey Teule, why don't you come in?" he shifted feet in the water as one paw was slowly sinking creating a lil whirl of sand. "Its fun."
Yakuti flinched, looking unhappy from now being wet.. and blinked as the cheeta neared her oh crap shes gonan eat me.. she tensed byt stayed still and felt relieved when it was only to ask a question. She paused and then nodded whispering back "Probably.." Little did she know it was their hating GRAND father. "When i first found wokovu his mother was.. well dead. I wonder what the father would think if he ever found out his cubs had been stolen and raised by .. well. um. us."

Jasi took a step towards Tuele frowning a little. "Yea Tuele, you'll love it, the waters just right." She got out of the water,shook off the excess water, and sat next to him."But its alright if you dont want to." she said gently"

Teule glanced down at the warily before givig Jasi an unsure smile, winding his tail sheepishly around his legs.
"I don't think..I don't know but I think I'll stay out here."
Taka recoiled from the fox, knowing she was probably uneasy with her hulking frame so lose to hers. She sighed thinking back to when she picked up Teule.
"One of the Firekin's lower lions left him in the mountain by himself to die which was when I foud him..Wait..they must be Firekin cubs! I wonder who their mother was if they wanted her cubs to die.."

Jasi smiled at him. "Protecting us from that bigger lion?"she teased. "I bet it was just a false alarm, I mean, I havent seen another lion here since the day I found you guys."she grinned, and stared back at the cool water."Alright you can stay here,but if you want to come in later, we'll be waiting!" Jasi gave Tuele a quick lick on the cheek before she ran back into the water, splashing vigorusly.

Teule turned a lgith shade of pink and scratched his ear timidily. He did't like the water that much even if they said it was fun, to him it was only for drinking. He placed a paw meekly in the water but pulled it out, deeming the water only for drinking. He didn't enjoy the feeling of water on his fur for some reason, which Taka curiously noted.

Wokovu shrugged "yer loss" he leaned his head down to lap up some more of the water.. he found the water more fun than anything. mayhaps he just had less of the firekin blood in him than his brother..
Yakuti blinked firekin.. oh right the name of the lions that lived around here "Their mother had the red pelt.. normally they woun't kill one of their own would they? i just heard they killed any strangers that came near them.." her small frame relaxed due to the fact the cheetah had moved away. She thought abuot it, tail flopping from side to side curiously.

Kinja had yet to move her tiny cubs from the safety of the thicket, allowing the little ones to grow a bit more before heading out into the world for the first time. She nosed one of the small lionesses and smiled as it produced a tiny squeek, she turned to her her second son, Kimeti, who looked much like his father. She licked his fur, cleaning it of anything unwanted. The little lion vocalized his opinion on the matter of having a bath but Kinja didn't seem to notice.
After finishing with her previous dirty cub she yawned and rolled onto her side to allow the cubs access to milk. Her eyes drifted closed as the tiny lions suckled. Kinja wouldn't have fallen asleep if she didn't know that Kiu was guarding her and the cubs, the last thing she needed to come trapseing around was a hyena or any other animal, expecially with how young the cubs were.
Kimeti growled his dissaproval of his bath and emitted several squeeks but no matter what he did the annoying licking didn't stop until several minutes later. His mind was quickly taken off the fact that his mother had ignored him when Kinja layed on her side. Kimeti's mind was then forcused on a meal. He eagerly pushed his way through the other cubs to get to his mother's milk first which he drank up eagerly.

((Holy crap, I'm going to have to figure out different colors. xD))
Moko squeaked when her brother stepped on her tail in his hurry to get to the milk. She nosed her way into the fray (sp?), bumping others out of her way to find the source of nourishment.
Makadari heard the roar of the female but ignored it; the breeze had changed direction... and with it had come the scent of... lions? Why were there lions out here? Members of the Blood rarely came this far out into the desert. He picked up his pace, his curiousity piquing.

Kavuasi snarled as his brother shoved his way in; He had been there first, and his impudent little sibling had the nerve to push him aside! Dismissing it with a squeak of indignation, Kavuasi pressed his muzzle to his mother's stomach, his little reddish-brown body convulsing as he eagerly gulped down the meal.

Kinja rested peacefully as her little cubs ate their fill. They're bit of fighting and squabbling over milk didn't go unnoticed and she nudged each one of them as if repremanding them. After the little ones finally calmed down and were eating without causing pain to their brothers and sister or pain to herself she laid her head back down on the ground and heaved a gentle sigh.
Kimeti ignored his brother's squeeks and connitnued his feeding. When his mother nudged him though he let loose his own angry squeeks at being dissrupted while eating. Finally after taking his fill he yawned and curled up by his mothers side.
