"Well..." Mamoru started, choosing his words carefully. "When Mio showed up at Crown, there was someone else there as well. A man, but he was inside and you probably didn't see him. Jadeite said that it seemed as though Zoisite knew him, and he certainly felt familiar to me." Mamoru looked over at Jadeite.
Kunzite looked from one man to the other. "If Zoisite seemed to know him, why don't you ask Zoisite?" he asked. He remembered then how Zoisite had acted rather strange when he had come home. Kunzite looked directly at Jadeite. "What did he do that made it seem as though he knew this person?"

Jadeite shifted uneasily in his seat when Kunzite asled him the question. He didn't want to admit it, but sometimes Kunzite could seem quite intimidating. Jadeite really didn't want to say anything that would cause Zoisite problems, but he was tired of hiding the truth. Besides, it was a direct question and there was no way to avoid it now. He decided to just tell the truth and hope that Zoisite would forgive him. He took a deep breath before starting to speak. "Well, when I entered the building, I saw Zoisite standing with that man, and...." He looked down at the ground and continued. "I saw them kissing." He looked back up at the Master and Kunzite, waiting for their reactions.

Mamoru blinked a few times. He was pretty sure he didn't hear that right. "They were what?" he said, confused. That made absolutely no sense. Regardless of the fact that it was another man, when the hell had Zoisite found a lover? "Wait, was there someone in the past life that Zoisite..."
Kunzite showed absolutely no emotion as he stared at Jadeite.
'...anyone from the past life...'
Slowly his eyes narrowed and he turned his head in the direction of the staircase that lead to the home's second floor.
'...saw them kissing...'
Kunzite knew of exactly one person that could have been. He didn't know how it was possible, but he was back, and Kunzite's anger was about to hit record levels. He stood suddenly and went directly for the stairs without a word, taking them two at a time and transforming into his Tennou form without realizing it.
Almost ripping Zoisite's door off its hinges, he found Zoisite quickly passed out on his bed. "Get up," he growled as he grabbed the other man roughly and quite literally pulled him up and threw him on the floor.
It wasn't exactly the nicest way to wake up. Zoisite groaned on impact and tried to push himself up to take in his surroundings, and more importantly, who had attacked him. "Kunzite? What is wrong with you?" he asked, not terribly sure if he should try to stand up or not.

"The problem now is figuring out the new incantation." None of this made sence to Ami. She tried to rap her mind around how they had receaved the braclets.
Minako gave out a small laugh, "Did any of you girls actually think they would come with instruction manuals?" She looked at Artemis trying not to blush. "I'm going to go check some things out. Artemis-" She paused, smiled, and shook her head. "Maybe in your current state... you should stay here with the girls." Turning she headed back out.

Makoto couldn't help but to chuckle. A smile appeared on her face. "No, I honestly did not believe they would. However, it would've been nice if they did." She rested her arms on the table in front of her and looked up at the ceiling trying to think. Perhaps if some words could just come to her just like that. Perhaps...if something could happen.

"I can't let you go out alone Minako." Artemis said softly, as he removed his hand from the glowing crescent on his forehead. He was deticated, even now to Minako and the girls. "Not with everything that's been happening lately. It's my job to protect you..." He looked into her eyes and gave a kind smile. "Anyone have a hat I could borrow?" A little bit of a blush as that stupid thing wasn't stopping... it meant something, he was sure, perhaps there was more to come, eventually.
Rei offered Artemis her scarf for the time being, and then sat down beside Makoto. She stared at the bracelet around her wrist, and closed her eyes then. Perhaps something would come to her if she meditated on it. Sitting completely still, she opened her mind, and awaited answers. "Star Power..." Something seemed to be saying to her. "Star Power..." It repeated again, and that was when Rei opened her eyes and stood up.
At the same time Artemis had grasped to Minako's hand to make sure she didn't leave without him, and the crescent glowed brightly again. Then it came to him, and it seemed in unison with Rei... "Star power... that's what you say!" Only after he said that did the crescent shine once more and then disappear completely from his forehead.
"...Mars Star Power... Make Up!" Rei would give it a try, and to her surprise, she had been right, along with Artemis, as a moment later she appeared as Sailor Mars once more. She looked down at herself and then smiled at the other girls. "We've got it now... all of you... try it!"
((Again I hope no one minds me taking the initiative with this... hehe!))

Jadeite cringed as Kunzite passed by him and charged up the stairs. He could almost feel the anger coming from the other man. "Scary." He thought. He was glad that he wasn't Zoisite right now, and he silently wished Zoisite luck for dealing with Kunzite in his angry mood. He turned to the Master. "Master, I'm sorry that I said that so suddenly. But, do you know what's going on?"

Minako was touched by Artemis' concern, and was about to comment as such. But before she could say anything Artremis' crescent moon disappeared and Rei had transformed. Not wanting to be out done by the fire senshi. Minako dropped Artemis' hand and called out, "Venus Star Power... Make Up!" In an instant she stood once again as Sailor Venus. Turning back to Artemis, Sailor Venus flashed him a triumphant grin, "Well that seemed to have worked!"
Ami, who was still studying the bracelet, looked up to see the transformations. Smiling to herself, she too shouted her henshin, “Mercury Star Power… Make Up!” And when she herself transformed she felt a cool wave of relief as if she had again found herself.

"Jupiter Star Power, Make-up!" shouted Makoto. A moment later, she emerged as the sailor senshi, Sailor Jupiter. "Alright! I've transformed!" she smiled a wide smile. "We can fight again! Anyone know if our powers are still the same?" she asked, suddenly aware that they may have changed with the new bracelets.

Usagi watched as her friends transformed in front of her. She was a little hesitant about trying her own henshin. Did she really want to give up being a normal girl again? Sure, saving the world meant something to her but....

She looked at her friend in concern. "Usagi-chan? Why haven't you transformed?" Makoto was in shock. She thought Usagi-chan loved to protect the world. It may seem awkward to her to be the only one to not be transformed. Usagi...she was concerned for her. What if she didn't want to help them fight? She was a great sailor senshi!

"Usagi-chan, you know we need to do this..." Rei said softly to the odango headed one. She put her hand on her shoulder and nodded a little. "It has to be done, and then... when the threat is passed it will all go away again. It isn't forever..." Kind words from the Fire senshi, as she did understand what Usagi must have been feeling.
Artemis leaned back a bit against the table, before he perched himself on it again. "Usagi-chan... yours is Moon Crystal Power..." He said in a soft manner as he was exhausted, physically and mentally from all of this discovery. "The attacks... they will come to you... open your mind and allow your planetary powers to flow through you... they will... come..." And then he passed out, the poor thing fell to the floor and landed with a thump before he unwillingly transformed back into a cat.

"Artemis!" Sailor Venus picked up the white guardian kitty. She gazed at him with a look of concern. Then she looked up at Usagi, her features becoming serious. "Usagi-chan, there isn't any time to waist. We have to fight."

"Minna..." she said quietly, almost whispering. As always, Makoto was being kind to her. Even Rei was being kind, and Artemis too. Gazing over at Minako, though, Usagi lowered her eyes to the ground. She could not expect Minako to understand. They were so different and Usagi adored her friend but she could not face her at that moment.
"Gomen nasai... I need to go talk to Mamoru..." she said, excusing herself as quickly as she could. Talking to Mamoru would make her feel better about all this. He would understand her hesitations about taking up her role as a Senshi again, wouldn't he?
That was all she thought about as she ran from the Crown, without so much as a goodbye to her comrades or Motoki.

"Usagi-chan!" shouted Makoto, but it was too late. Usagi had already left Crown. She looked to everybody else and then to Artemis, who had just passed out. "Artemis...he will be okay too right? What about Usagi-chan? We can't just force her to do this, yet her powers were vital for all of the missions in the past. We'll need them again." Makoto pointed out. It was painful, she knew, having to look back at the past and accept a big responsibility, for she had faced a similar experience at the loss of her parents. As always, Usagi was being difficult. This really wasn't the time. There were bigger things at steak.
