Rain sighed and sat on her knees. "Guess you don't want to talk, huh?" she said to him, not really caring if he was listening or not. "I just wanted to know why you're alway hiding inside Mercury. There's no real reason to. You should come out once in a while; let us know you're alive."

(((I'll say it however I want to say it! xp Oh, and here's something for Sven-Butt..)))
Smoke and dust flew everywhere after the crash, covering everything in a kind of mist. Senturi was only half way visible, standing close by like a stone statue.
'There...that'll teach her......' Kayako bowed her head at little inside her LFO 'They always send these idiots-NNGH!'
She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth while the pain sunk in. Something was hurting her chest. Something in waves...waves of red. Slowely, she looked down, but she already knew what it was. The red light coming from under her shirt just confirmed what she was thinking.
'That damned...I forgot about it...'
She wondered if Gray could feel it too, wherever he was hiding.

In the blood red LFO, Asuka lay sprawled out over her control panel, knocked out from hitting her head during the crash.
She hadn't expected the girl to try something like that. It was too complex, and everyone had told her that Kayako liked to attack head-on. But if that was a lie....what else were they keeping from her?

Rain heard a booming sound off in the distance. She looked up at the tree line to see the tiny shapes of distant skyfish flying away.
((I have no idea if there would be birds or not.))
She looked in that direction for a bit, then shrugged it off. "That was probably Kayako," she explained the sound to Gray. "Wonder what she flew off for..." She sighed and looked at the cockpit again. "Seriously, is it impossible for you to tolerate us or something? Why do you always hide in there?"

"Damin that was close, I am gunna have to find a way around that little progam." He pulled himself out from behind the seat and then set it back up. " I wonder why she wanted to kill that one girl so badly." He looked over at the monitor then rubbe the back of his head. " Man that LFO took a beating, she really didn't have to do that." he leaned back and sighed, it would most likely get him killed if he went in now cause that one girl would most likely freak on him. "In for pennie in for a pound!" THe LFO reved to life and took off towards the crash site, I am so gunna get killed for this

Rain fell silent. She began to wonder if Gray was listening to her. She even began to wonder if he was still alive. One could not really tell with him. She looked towards the cockpit again. "Give me some kind of sign you're alive," she requested.
Another sigh escaped her lips. "You can't hide in there forever. If you stay in there for too long, I'm sure Kayako will come in there and break you out. Possibly even break you!"

"Ugh, damned heights..."
Kayako climbed out of Senturi, taking longer than she should have thanks to the drive's sudden burst to life. As if the buises from such a hard landing weren't enough!
Once she got outside, she climbed down to the ground and made her way back to the campsite. It wasn't really that far away-two or three hundred yards at the most. After clearing a couple of fallen trees, she could see Rain standing a little ways off next to Mercury.
"HEY!" she called and waved one arm. "Ya mind lending a hand here? We got a pilot to dig out!"
She usually could care less what happened to the people she fought, but this one was different. After all, she hadn't done anything to seriously hurt them...just exchanged a few nasty words.

Medri was raced along flying no more then fifty feet in the air, damin why was he going to far to help someone he never knew.
Could it be that she is the same situation your mother was in?
He shook his head, that might be it but still he knew nothing about what was really going on. "I know, I know! Damin military thinks they can just get rid of any pilot when there usefullness has pasted... it makes me sick!" He flew over the crash site and looked down at Kayako as he passed over. "She is going to kill me I know."

Rain looked from her perch next to the cockpit at Kayako. "Alright," she said. Not really having any major breakthroughs here, anyway." Standing up to get off, she turned to the cockpit once more. "I'll talk to you later," she said, then hoped off.
She jogged a little towards Kayako. "What happened?" she asked her.

"I was right, the military sent another LFO after us....I think they sent her here just to get rid of her. I took the LFO down in those trees back there. So, wanna help me get her out? I'm pretty sure she's out."
Kayako laughed nervously and looked back. It wasn't the nicest thing she'd done to someone.....
'But it's deffinatly not the worst' she remebered the stick incident again. Geez, was he still mad about that?
She turned around and jumped over a log, heading back to the crash site.

Medri was glad he landed before the other two got here. He got out of his LFO but left the Cockpit open for a quick escape, and it was not like anyone could pilot his LFO any. Making a sprint to the Asuka's LFO he Looked around for the Cockpit glad to find it in one peice. "Well, the Military won't her back in now..." He proceded to find a way to open up the smashed up LFO.

"You know..." she began. "I'm starting to worry about him. He hasn't come out of his LFO since..." she began to think. "Actually... I don't think he ever did come out."
She sighed again and shook her head.

Wind blew across Medri from behind, picking up the dirt and leaves. There was a deep thump and a small thrusting sound.
"You forget pretty quickly now... don't you?" The man from before held a machine gun at the three of them. There he stood at the open cockpit of the black LFO. No smirk took his face, but there was a small clever smile.
Jumping down from his LFO, he slowly moved towards them. He stopped when it was just close enough to be safe.
"I'm an officer of squad 50-A. I've been called Vick several times before. So if you want, you can call me that. Go ahead and help her out of there." He nudged his gun at where Asuka would be.

I this is just perfect! Medri was standing right beside the cockpit and had a 'Here we go again' look on his face. In the least he would have to think quick to get out of this... He opened up the cockpit and then Quickly closed it again. They would have to come in point blank to get her out now, and he did hope the pilot would not mind being in a small space with him, and his shock charged staff.

"Well, I think we all know what has to be done...." Kayako clapped her hands together in a fake gesture of innocence. Then, she drew her own gun.
"Let's play CHICKEN!!" and with that, she shot straight at the man, aiming for his wrist where his gun was.

Medri crouching in the Cockpit with Asuka, thank god she was out cold. I hate it when I do things like this without thinking... there was no radar in the LFO, all the systems where down, and he had no way to figureing out what was going on outside. "damin I wish i could at least see..." and on top of that all, there was not alot of room to swing his staff around, or fight for that matter.
