He smirks. "Its simple..I'll demonstrate..." He says as he focuses and the water around him begin to pull backwards then moving forward in a nice sized wave he swims forward until he is just being pushed by the waves momentum to the shoreline. "...I see the shiney fish...good thing its not dark....or else we might have to worry about sharks...they love to go after schools like that" he says knowingly.
"Are you ready to try?" he asks as he sits in the sand that was still wet from the water that had been lapping against it.

She nodded knowingly and pushed back into slighty deeper waters where she had to stand on her tip-toes. Keila pushed a little back and started treading water again with a determined look on her face. She was also nervous, too, which showed slightly when she shouted to him, "I'm ready!" In a more high-pitched voice than usual. She treaded and looked behind her, still swimming back a little to gain the space she needed to stay on the wave for a good few seconds. Oh this looked so fun! And yet, also scary still.

Smiling he nodds his head as he pushes the water backwards as he had done for himself, only this time he focused on the water around Keila making sure it kept her above water because body surfing wasn't exactly and easy thing to do when you were just learning to swim, but he would help her do it until she got the hang of it. The wave comes forward at a controlled pace, while the water around Keila is prepared to support her . "Alrite swim! try and keep ahead of the wave!" he says loudly.

She looked around in a daze for a moment. The water around her... was... tightening? Around herself? What was going on? It was like she didn't need to swim anymore almost.
"All right, swim!" came to her ears. Keila looked up and nodded. "Okay!" She started forwards in an awful sort of doggy-paddle, trying to push whatever it was away. Shaking her head, water flies from her hair and with a grin, she starts putting her arms forward and swimming in a freestyle way like Kai taught her and she looked back towards the wave. Why did it look so big?

He smiles as the wave rushes forward to meet her. It catches up with her rather quickly and soon the water is just perfect for body surfing.
"Alrite! put your arms out slightly at your sides like your flying!" he says loudly at her. He keeps the water around her ready to float her up in the event she took a dive .He smiles as he watches her with excitement for her. He thought he would treat her next to something special that not many people get to do. He enjoyed spedning time with her, never a dull moment that was for sure.

The wave picked her up like strong arms and she smiled, giggling with excitement and flinging her arms out. She stared out at the shore with sparkling eyes. "I'm doing it!" Keila whooped. "This is so cool!!" she kicked her feet and wiggled her arms about. Omigod! This is so awessomme! she thought with delight and closed her eyes for a second, the sea air spraying past her.

Kai smiles as he watches her simple joy as the water comes closer to the shore. Then he remembers something important...."Stand up before you get into shallow water !!! unless you want a nice rash!" he says loudly smirking. He keeps the water around her still ever at the ready. She was close to hitting the shallows.....well shallows for him anyway...they only came up to about his mid chest. He continues to keep a watchful eye over her while smiling as he enjoys the light breeze.

She nodded and looked down, opening her eyes and watching the waves.
She watched too long.
Keila was low and her bare belly was skidding across the sand before she realized it. With a sudden jolt of idea, she shoved her hands down into the wet sand and her hands caught in the muck, the shock of it threatening to make her lose herself in the wave and do an unintentional cartwheel/somersault. Whuh-oh..

He sees her and reacts instinctively He shouts and cuts his hand through the air swifty and the water around her parts and slices back as if something had cut straight through it. He rushes over to her and helps her up out of the muddy sand. Still holding the water back he looks her over carefully. "Are you ok? Are you hurt? is anything bleeding or broken?..." he asks concerned.

Keila blinked and looked up at him. "Yup. I think I'm okay. It was odd though. One seconds up in the water, next my hands are in the sand.. and between the next three I'm up and on the ground and the water went bye bye.." she shook her head and sat up. "I'm good."
"Okay..." With an upwards glance to the sky she thought absentmindedly, stupidly and aloud, "Maybe we really should take a break from swimming.."

He smiles and help her up to her feet. "That my dear is why you should respect water...it can be fun and gentle, but take it for granted and it will remind you why its to be respected." he says smiling. "It does seem like a good idea" he says smiling.
"You did a really good job out there im proud of you " He says smiling widely as he looks down at her."Next time though....lets not make me rush to keep you from getting throttled by the waves." he says as he ruffles her hair playfully.

She laughed and pulled away from him hand, putting her arms out and running towards the sand dunes. "And for that I thank you! For who knows what kind of chiropractic work those waves coulda done to me!" Keila giggled, not sounding very serious, but in fact she was trying to be sarcastic, which at all in fact, she wasn't very good at. She turned around finally and plopped down into the sand with another chuckle, looking at a seagull walking up the beach. She tilted her head and as soon as it came close, she ran towards it, still almost in a sitting position and about ready to fall over, screaming, "Kaa! Kaa!" and scaring it off.
With the bird having been scared away, she skipped off towards Kai and looked towards the sand dunes. "Think we should eat, or start heading back or something?"

He smiles as he watches her. "Lets eat? Im hungry...." he says smirking as he spots crabs scuttling into holes in the shoreline that they had made to hide from the waves.
"Are you in the mood for anything in particular?" he asks as he streches slightly leaning backwards just enough that he doesnt fall over. "Im in the mood for almost anything. " He says letting himself flop backwards onto the hot sand.

"Hmnnn.." She looked at the ocean, getting that wierd vertigo feeling while watching it and swaying at the same time. "I.. want..." Keila's eyes then lit up and she grabbed Kai by the hand.
"Let's go into town! Let's go... eat somewhere at some resturaunt! Then we could get anything we wanted to eat, right?" the prospect seemed to delight her and she began jumping up and down.
"Yeah! Let's go into town!" Keila said again, tugging on him to get up now. "Let's go eat!!"

He smirks and gets up as she tugs on him. "I have a better idea...come with me." he says smiling. He grabs ahold of her hand lightly and tugs her twords the water.
"This will be more fun then driving or walking.." he says smiling widely as he looks at her then at the water. "Or would you rather do things the old fashioned way.
