Today's New Update Theme: Horror Film As done by Ed
As you enter the graveyard the distant sound of organ music fills the air, groaning like the deep throated wails of a damned soul. The damp earth beneath your feet is coated with a thick white mist, that stirs into rolling swirls, like a maggot beneath flesh. A vevlet soft voice brushes warm against your neck, as cold fingers slowly bind around your wrists. "Welcome to the update," she says, "enjoy your stay..." She falls into a cackle the sound of crackling chains, boiling cauldrons, and the pure love of blood. "you won't be leaving alive!"
AA Base: Deep in a haunted base two innocent teenage lovers enjoy each other's company in the middle of a machinery workshop, neither aware of what evils await them.
eek Young and sweet Hattie--with her innocent hopes for the future--decides to assist Eric-- the school rebel who is really misunderstood inside, and who is preparing to choose a career path that his controlling father disagrees with--decide to go out and help with the bloody battle in Krovh, Hattie in an anti-zombie truck, and Eric in the Nova. Little do they know how easily those machines have a life of their own and could very well eat them if they so choose.
At the same time, in the hallway of the haunted base A sexy half naked redhead is wandering in the base after a shower--because every horror movie has a shower/post shower/pre shower scene--little does the sexy redhead--with her randomly frightened and pouty looks at the camera-- know, as she is about to meet the angel of death. The Angel of death appears in the hallway, his eyes flaming and evil, he looks at the frightened sexy chick, and says in a deep reverbeating voice
"Where's My Liver!" "My Name's Spike." Immediatley the boy wearing the redshirt shows up (RUN VERVE RUN!!!!! NOT THE RED SHIRT!!!
crying )) He checks out the sexy redhead using his x-ray vision, and said redhead is wearing pink lacy brazilian cut underpants with a white heart and matching bra. He looks at Angel of death and after a few sparkly comments they all head off to the battle at Krovh.....and to certain DOOM!
Bobby, the brilliant but young scientist, appears in the haunted castle, transported by a suit of armor possessed by a thousand blood thirsty souls. They also leave for the battle at krovh.
The young Hattie, and her short lover return from their battle with the zombies, barely surviving. They blockaded themselves in the garage, and started working on the machiner--which will soon grow a mind of it's own and try to take over the base. Bobby, the scientist, says hi, and then begins to think on how the evil zombie dark angel thingies from AoH were able to resist his latest invention. The mask, a frightening sociopath with a pet stuffed rabbit that tells him to kill people, watches from the shadows, and is more or less ignored by the ignorant soon to be victims. Minerva--the responsible but eccentric arms woman who either saves the day at the end, or dies trying to save the day, or dies but allows for a way for the heroes to save the day through her sacrifice--walks in and is feeling really grumpy, she wants a gun, so she calls on shorty to hand one over.
And somewhere in there the two young lovers try to throw in one more moment of loveringness before they die.
*Ed considers changing her playlist to midnight syndicate but instead listens to "glycerine" and moves on to the next base*
AoS: Deep in the haunted castle of the evil sorceress, filled with sadistic monsters, psychopaths, and zombies, the young scientist tries to escape. In the midst of this the evil sorceress unaware of Bobby's attempted to escape tries to get into the kitchen which is blocked by the mad sorcerer Baranar...who fails to respond and Ora yells at him a number of times before turning around and deciding to eat italian....immigrants! (evil laughter). Bobby, the young scientist, runs into a suit of armor posessed by a thousand bloodthirsty souls. He offers his help to Bobby in exchange for his participation in the slaughter soon to come, and in exchange for his first born child, and for a night alone with his mother, and for a saltshaker autographed by Jimmy Buffet. Bobby accepts the deal and signs away his soul with blood before being transferred out of the base to the AA base. Thorn and Terra decide to go eat italian people with Ora. Five minutes afterwards Ora the evil sorceress who has been haunting the Union city since they had her hanged for being a witch and eating their children a hundred years in the past, returns to the base, and asks about Bobby's escape and Ayx's betrayal with Xeen.
In the middle of the haunted mansion two young college students woke up, with no idea where they were. They found themselves in a maze of doors and bedrooms and no access to kitchens. Fearing for thier lives Blitz and Corelia decided to go out to the city to find food.....before they starved to death.
eek A horrendous monstrosity, a dragon named drake, also wakes in the castle, and stalks the room until he finds Ora....they reminisss about life before the tragic horror of the present. Will they ever find peace again? Will they survive until the next episode? Or will they turn on each other in an attempt to secure their own survival?!
surprised AoH: A deep moan echoes throughout the ghost town, none come here and live.
AoH Colliseum: Trapped in a maze of death the young college students struggle to survive as mass monstrosities attempt to murder them for the entertainment of the masses. In the middle of it one young college student gives up everything to save himself and the rest. He and the other young college student, Corelia, are then transported by to what they think is a safe Haven....but is it?! *buwahahahahahahahah*
In the middle of the chaos, percy trips and hangs himself for the entertainment of the masses, his body swinging back and forth on a string of wires, limp, silent, and very much dead. His glassy eyes search out the crowd, the ghost remembering each face.....with a grudge that will live on.
eek Krovh: The sexy redhead appears at Krovh, preparing for the battle against the undead. She knows she won't live through it, but she believes she might give the others time before she is overcome by the zombies' sheer numbers. Then the Seer showed up, a horrendous monster with an eye in his mouth and his lips and eyes sewn shut with jagged rusty wires, and gives he backup. The Angel of Death, and the Guy with The Red Shirt also show up. So does the two young teenage loves in their machinery--which will eventually grow a mind and try to take over the world--and so does the young scientist and the posessed armor. They all prepare to take on the evil zombies. A giant of a man also shows up in a tank, and the seer as his unpredictable monstrous self decides to leave. The battle begins with much big booms and destruction. The zombies are being thrown back, and then they all decide to focus their attacks on the sexy redhead who attempts to fight back. The guy with the red shirt and the young scientist attempt to save her, and just before she sucumbs to the attacks she hides behind a shield. A fishy man also tries to save her(thought I should throw that in). And the Zombies are finally beaten back. The two young teenage lovers make googly eyes, and the sexy redhead finds this a bit amusing as she realizes what's going on. The teenage girl asks the sexy redhead if she'd like a ride, but the redhead has to go pick up her son from school and go to shelter because she's still not too happy with her boyfriend. The two teenagers leave. And The guy with the red shirt teleports the sexy redhead to the school, after having a conversation about City of Heroes stuff, considering they've been fighting zombies on that side too.
In the mean time The arms woman Minerva was in a bar, only to discover the mass murdering psycho who killed her friend/partner/boyfriend is in the bar with her. She starts to fight him, and slashes his throat....but he doesn't die!!!
eek The pycho's not human, and he turns his hands into guns to shoot at Minerva as he reminds her how he killed her friend/partner/boyfriend. The waitress, AC--who is also the protective motherly figure throughout the
movie thread--rushes the innocent bystanders out of the restaurant. Cops show up to stop the fight and heal minerva, and they wait for the inhuman psycho to respond.
surprised New Pheonix: The character who everyone thought was dead, and the character who everyone wished was dead stand at the walls of new pheonix, trying to find a way to break into the zombie citadel to gain power for themselves. They play rock paper scissors.....in a spooky and dangerous way...and run with the scissors too.
eek The Character who everyone wished was dead decides loses and has to go find some explosives. The motherly waitress figure walks by and wonders what the two are up to, but goes into the citadel, not really caring. (note: We don't really want the character who everyone wished was dead to be dead....so don't pout, Jez)
BattleGrounds War Shelter: The sexy redhead is having a fight with her boyfriend(who just might be the serial killer, Oh NO!), and stays her shift at the shelter with her innocent son--who can see dead people--. They talk with the daughter of the werewolf about the sexy redhead's boyfriend who has been lying to her, and who has a bizzare hard to explain past. Later the Boyfriend comes running into the shelter, grabs the werewolf girl and asks for information about the sexy redhead, his heated and frightening eyes hidden behind shaded glasses. Terrified, the werewolf girl points the direction. The boyfriend goes running and grabs the sexy redhead before she can escape, holding her with his steal grip. The redhead screams. Then the boyfriend apologizes, hands over a rose which heals the sexy redhead, and they make kissy faces at each other. The werewolf girl tests the boyfriend with a mirror trick, to see if he's a vampire, but he's not...and his eyes aren't blue! THEY ARE NOT BLUE! So everyone can take that color off the checklist. The Boyfriend apologizes to the werewolf girl, and then proceeds to ignore said girl, then leaves to go back to the AA base...but we really know he's going to go put on his evil murderer costume and attempt to kill everyone in the shelter!!!
eek ....a costume that will come back sequel after sequel to haunt the sexy redhead.
Union City: The evil sorceress goes to eat some italians, and the boyfriend shows up at the restaurant with the seer. He wants the piece of the sexy redhead back, and will do what is necessary to get it, which he makes clear to the sorceress. The Evil Sorceress doesn't actually know about the sexy redhead's missing pieces, but she figures it might get the boyfriend to do something for her, so she tells him she'll give him the redhead stuff if he kills her mother. Since he's a maddened killer he says he would and leaves to go do so.
He comes back with a copy of the Evil Sorceress's mother, who happens to be the character everyone thinks is dead. The Evil sorceress is forced to fess up that she doesn't have the pieces of the sexy redhead but she does know how to get in touch with the person that does have the pieces. She calls death over and death gives the pieces of the redhead to the boyfriend, in the form of a blood rose. The boyfriend and the seer leave to go to the war shelter. The evil sorceress stands up and kills her mother, then makes the italians clean up the mess, while the motherly waitress AC gets upset and yells mean things which make the evil sorceress sad inside, but she pretends that she's still as cool as always, and gives a slight reference to her master with a wicked grin.
Battlegrounds: The character who everyone thinks is dead and the character who everyone wants dead show up at the walls of Pheonix, but then the character who everyone thinks is dead gets caught up with the vehicle of destruction driven by the murderous boyfriend. The boyfriend asks for a favor, uses his magic mumbo jumbo, casts an illusion, and makes it looks like he kills the character who everyone thinks is dead, then makes a copy of her with more magic mumbo jumbo, and then allows her to leave. She leaves. The boyfriend drives away. And Miran the madman with a hook who haunts the area stalks around the minefields, laughing to himself...and to his victims' bodies.
The Roads Twixt: The Murderous Boyfriend plots something and with his evil monstrous friend to assist him, they head out to murder the sexy redhead and her friends!.....or save her life and then head home.
Everywhere and Nowhere: AC rises from the dead....with a hunger for human flesh!!!!
Pawnshop: Death fills the thread.
Shameless Advertising: Still doing CoV/CoH stuff. I have three characters on my ten day trial including Sufferance--a level 8 stalker, Oralia--a level 7? Mastermind, and Ruby--a level 7 defender. Seriously, I spend more time making the characters and dressing them in pretty costumes then actually playing. Ora's costume is probably my favorite....ummmm *insert a scream to make this section more horror-ish*
OtherNotes: AC had a birthday on Thursday, and at the end of the month is Jez's birthday. With every moment they come closer and closer to the darkness of death. Buwahahahahahah
And Ed went to St. George for the weekend and watched spiderman 3, good movie, had fun on my road trip, and ate at a haunted Denny's at one in the morning, yay!
