Night materialised bandages in her hand. Grumbling she bandaged Kasai.
"Kurama," she said. "You haven't finished the game. But I won't hold it against you. I'll keep the prize for myself. But I will not protect you or your...mutt from my pets." Night helped Kasai to stand, and glared at the pair. "Good luck finding food, you'll need more than I can give you to find your way out alive." Night turned away and walked Kasai into the mansion.
(Remember I said mini game. Heh.)

Somehow Kurama got the feeling that leaving now would be a bad idea, but wasn't going to turn back, or even glance again at the mansion.
He was curious about her pets... if she had a pet werewolf, she would have other things, and they would likely be as dangerous. So Hiei and himself would have to keep on their guard, and not be allowed to sleep.
So basically, no good food, no rest, and no real bath. And he craved a good, warm bath. It would be the perfect thing to calm his nerves.
Returning to human world might be difficult, for one main reason; the portal they had gotten there through had been sealed. So they would have to find another one, or wander the Makai aimlessly. Such was not a good thing to inform the fire demon of quite yet, as that would further anger him.

Hiei's eyes flashed at Night's words. But he bit back the urge to fry her. He was too annoyed to bother, really. With that, the Jaganshi unsheathed his katana once more. He would kill anything that came their way.
"Kurama," he growled, a warning to hurry up. The Koorime was not in the mood for any stalling or slow walks. He was sick of this place, and slipping more and more into a bad mood.

Night grumbled angrily. How could they do this? How could he do this. That runty little mutt practically killed Kasai. She never laid a finger on either of them! Her thoughts carried on like this until she had Kasai resting in bed.
She then went out into the forest to find her pets. One vampire, two snake demons, seven nymphs, four druids, and a falcon. A satisfactory zoo, and she was still questing. She gave them all instuctions. Make life as hard for them as possible, but no killing, and no telling them she sent you.
(You guys can control any of the pets exept Carlos)

((Grounded /again/. Probably won't be on much except for today.))
The fox hurried best he could, not wanting to further anger the fire demon. Certainly he didn't want to be the latest subject of his wrath... even though he knew Hiei wouldn't make any move to murder him, that didn't mean he wouldn't abandon or hurt him. Or simply yell, which the red-head could deal with, though he wouldn't like it.
Kurama pulled his rose from his beautiful crimson hair, holding it in a fashion that would allow him to easily attack. Night had made it clear that her 'pets' would not make life pleasant for them. At least the trip wouldn't be entirely boring that way, and he would have something other than the Koorime to focus on.

((Aw. heart ))
Hiei had sped ahead of Kurama, appearing in the air and then vanishing in a quick flash to reappear at another spot. Though he stopped suddenly, knees bent and eyes narrowed. He was listening carefully, searching also with his mind in the surrounding area. Then he was gone. It almost seemed as if he wouldn't return, but only a moment later a few of the surrounding trees slid from their middle as if they had been cut in half. There was a hissing scream, and Hiei reappeared once again, katana once more holding blood.
He looked over, and the screaming was identified. A slivery and scaled demon body coiled and writhed in the middle of the chopped trees. Hiei scowled, not at all amused by the bothersome interference.
((I won't godmod so much with the other creatures, but I thought starting Hiei at an angry pace would be good. D: ))

Night flinched. Her pet was dead, or dying. Probably one of the snakes. She didn't worry too much. It could be replaced. She would miss him...
"Carlos." Carlos looked up. "Would you be up for a hunt, dear?" Night had a dangerous look in her eyes. "I need you to go find our guests. You remember, the runt and the flower boy?" Carlos nodded. "Go find them, make them misserable, then report back. No blood, no permanant damage, got it?" Carlos nodded eagerly. "Fetch."
Carlos bolted, changing to his wolf form soon after reaching the door. He loved a good hunt.

"No, Night. I do not wish for any kind of revenge; what I got, I asked for. Call off your pets, or they will die. The little Koorime is /not/ in a forgiving mood, as you can tell." She gestured towards the wound on her stomach.
Kasai had followed the girl, suspecting her plan, even though the process was more than just a bit painful. In her weakness, she had to use the wall for added support. Her condition wasn't good, and her blood had already soaked the bandages. And yet, revenge was still the last thing on her mind.

After Hiei's momentary vanishing, the fox at once found him when the creature screeched. And, of course, he held no sympathy for the snake... that kind of thing was finished. The younger girl obviously had sent them to attack, so apparently none of the residents were innocent.
The reptile's attack had made Kurama quite a bit more cautious, though that didn't show much. The main difference was that his eyes seemed to dart around, in addition to them seeming almost glazed as he scanned the area using his other senses, as well.
He kept silent, not only having nothing optimistic to say, but nothing the other would wish to hear. His mood was, well... normal, but not so because he was with his closest friend, who he would usually tolerate more.
The red-head walked on, not bothering to wait. Maybe he would manage to get ahead enough that he wouldn't have to practically run to keep up.

Hiei returned to his quick, vanishing pace, thought he kept closer to Kurama. The trees rustled with his movement and a few times branches fell from the trees, having met the katana. Though he stopped once more on the ground to look around. The ki of the other creatures he had felt was fading. Were they backing off?
"They're being called off. She's going to just let us run off?" he said lowly, turning to narrow his eyes at the fox. He looked around once more. Then, turning again as if with realization of something, his eyes opened more.
"The portal we came through..."
The Jaganshi growled, glaring again and returning once more to his fast pace.

So it had taken that long for the fire demon to realize... well, now that he had, maybe the fox could speak with him about it, maybe formulate another plan of escape. Certainly he didn't want to wander forever, which it seemed Hiei would do. And, of course, then the kitsune would be forced to abandon his composure and collapse.
As for the creatures retreating, Kurama knew better than to believe it wasn't some kind of plot to bring their guard down. Though the possibility remained that they really weren't meaning harm anymore.
'...but I do not wish to hurt you.' Somehow he thought the psychic had something to do with it. Even after being hurt, she had shown them no hostility.
"Hiei, what do you suggest we do now? I would not want to displease you by keeping all the fun of plan-making to myself." His voice held a bit of almost-humor, though he was serious.

"Kasai. You should rest." Night led her to the couch in the fourier. "I still need to call off Carlos. You rest I'll get him."
Night materialized a silver whistle about the size of her pinkie. She ran out side and blew hard. No sound came out to her ears. But all manner of dogs, foxes and wolves heard.
Carlos stopped in his tracks. He was being called. What to do. He looked at the fresgh trail, then towards the direction of the whistle. Decisions decisions...
Carlos sighed and headed back to the mansion, but not before howling to signal his return.

The Koorime glared, as if unappreciative of the trace of humor he heard in Kurama's voice. Not slowing down, but making sure to stay close enough so that the other could hear him, he continued to slice branches off of the trees he came close too.
"I suggest you keep up before I leave you to wander alone in this hell hole, Kurama," Hiei hissed, ricocheting off of a tree to speed off of another. After a moment, he spoke again. "We are going to find another portal. And then I am going murder everyone in Spirit World."

Kurama just stared for a moment, whether it be at the fire apparition or just into space. "Nice plan."
He was totally out of it, so the comment might have seemed sarcastic, but it did seem fitting to some extent. They'd have to find a portal eventually, though he didn't quite see where Reikai came into it. The only thing they did was close the portal at the agreed time. And Koenma was nice enough to open a portal in the first place.
His pace did not quicken, however. As it was, he was aching terribly, and he wasn't whining. So the Koorime could deal with it.
Then he winced, hearing the ear-splitting sound of the whistle. It was easy enough to figure that it wasn't summoning him, though that still didn't soothe his sensitive ears.
And more importantly, what did the females wish to do with the one they were calling? He concluded that it was Carlos, but that was obvious enough.
