Khane turned and brought her under the table with him, pulling bookshelves over it to create a makeshift shelter. It was dark, out of the way, and inhabited by a pair of psychotic, gun wielding, pointy thing having, whack jobs with a love of blood and gore and wholesale mass slaughter who were in the middle of making another one like them, no one would dare bother to disturb them.

Ayana took the liberty of coming to the library in order to find so peace, seeing as looking for a training partner was going terribly. She paced around, searching for a shelf, at least something to read.

Ayana grabbed the first book about her kind she spotted, just to see what this realm thought of her. She took it and founder herself a seat, in a bright red overstuffed chair. She had some difficulty curling up to read, so instead she sat sideways in the chair, her long legs hanging over one arm, and her back pressed against the other for support.

Ayana licked her finger and turned a page, looking at all the pictures of dragons. It was amazing, this place had many more kinds of dragons. Ones that curled like smoke, and others that were far larger than any creature she had ever seen. Not once did she see anything that looked like her.

Ayana glanced sideways at the boy sitting next to her. How dare he, sit next to a great dragon like herself? She wasn't in the mood to start an arugement, or even make any demands from him. Instead, she let him sit and read. She had nothing to worry about, so she pleasently ignored him.

Maja snaps his book closed and leaves the library.

Van walked in behind Ciara catching up to her with his hands in his pockets. He had put his guitar and amp in a locked closet that the janitor had given him the key to.

"Well you know where not to go. Any sections that are popular won't be the right place. I'd say try something like Paleontology or history or some other section where the dust is thicker than the books."

Van was a little ways away when he saw Ciara fall through the floor. He ran up to the hole where the trap door was and looked down. He couldn't see well through the dark. "Hey babe, you alright?" After what she had told him he had figured it best not to mention her name.

Van hated to admit it but he had no idea who Ciara was if she was so famous. He had always stayed away from mass media and figured that he could find out later without her having to know.

"s**t." Van grabbed the chain off of his waist. it was only six feet but it would make the fall easier. He fastened the chain to the book shelf using a spare dagger. God I hope this holds. He slid down the chain with the dagger from his hair in his mouth. He let go towards the bottom of the chain and landed on the floor with a slight thud.

It was datk and Van couldn't see well. He grabbed a match from his jacket pocket and lit the dagger on fire. It had been one of the things he had put into it in the forest when he was training and now it would serve as a decent torch he turned to see Ciara.
