Ok so someone uploaded the entire new episode on YouTube today. whee Yay. So I've -finally- seen it. I loved the part where he ran away from Cameron...it sent me into a giggle fit. Oh how I missed House. heart

just a reminder to everyone, white text any possible spoilers, there are people in the guild who live in the UK, Australia and other places who are not yet seeing season 3, so let's be concientious and not spoil the sweet House season 3 goodness for them!! thanks guys!

*waves* I'm new, too. I also just saw the ep, so I can't not ramble.
Okay, well...I love having House back. I still love the characters and the actors and the dialogue and--most of the time--the writing. This episode hit me like any other--I laughed, I scowled, I smiled, I cursed, I cared, mostly.
I have some problems, though.
Highlight for scattered thoughts spoilers yay!
1-How the living hell can House walk? Even if he doesn't have to deal with pain anymore, there is muscle missing in his thigh. He shouldn't be able to use his leg like it's whole, because it isn't, whether it hurts or not.
2-I love Wilson, I really do, but oh my God he was being an a**. He really needs to stop accusing House of addiction because I'm sorry, he was not addicted to Vicodin. He used it to deal with pain, not to get high. If he didn't take his pills on a strict schedule he'd be in complete agony. House couldn't allow that because he needed to be able to concentrate to do his job.
I could deal with Wilson thinking it's All About The Pills, but the show seems to endorse that and it kind of pisses me off.
Then there's the fact that in this episode Wilson wasn't just making House think he was tearing it down. He wasn't acting like a friend--he was hindering, and it made me hate him, and I don't want to hate one of my favourite characters.
3-Um, Cuddy, I understand the sentiment, I really do, but. What House was asking to do was not risky. I'm glad you went and tried it anyway, but putting a lesson before a patient? No.
4-Since when did House not care at all about his patients? Yeah, it was subtle, but I think it was always more than the puzzle. In some instances--Luke in The Socratic Method, Anica in Deception--it's obvious. He put his patient ahead of everything else, and that's one of the key reasons why I loved him.
The writers seem determined to smash every worthy trait the guy has in favour of angst and rebirth or...something. Make him admit he's a useless, dangerous b*****d when he saves a life almost every week, and when he doesn't it's really not through fault of his own.
5-No clinic scenes.
On the upside!
1-I like Cameron's backbone and hope she keeps it this time. (I still thought she was pushy, and unprofessional at times, but that's not exclusive to this episode.)
2-Chase is adorable.
3-It's about time Cuddy did truly put her foot down, I just didn't particularly like the circumstances.
4-At least House is still snarky and clever and bluntly perceptive. I still love him, and it will take a hell of a lot to change that.
5-Like I said, the acting was good all around as always, and I did care about the patients. I found the end a bit hard to swallow--should the shot have worked that fast--but it certainly hit a chord nonetheless. It was the scenes after that pissed me off.
6-Okay, the skateboard was neat. Implausible, but neat.

House was so amazing today!
so exciting!
so suspenseful!
so.... heart

i can't believe he's back on his cane... crying
and that Chase told a Yo Momma joke. ROFL.

If I had been in the room with Chase I would have thrown him down on he table and screwed him right there, because that part made me laugh SO hard and he was just so adorable. (Probably too much info. Sorry.)
The kid was cute in a little kid way. I felt bad because his parents didn't believe him. They seemed really mean. Is it just me or do they stick needles in people's eyes all the time on this show? neutral
There was totally sexual tension between House and Wilson in the office. Don't deny it. It was totally there. And I'm not even a HxW shipper.
And Cameron was totally hot. I love this show for having so many hot people. HOT DAMN.Fea Line This might be old to some of you, but Since when dose Cameron sleep with her Co-workers?

When I originally saw house, I saw the episode where cameron bitched about not being put in charge. Foreman made a comment that she was sleeping with all her coworkers and would therefore be a liability. *highlight for semi-spoiler* I thought she slept with House....because that just made sense. But no. She had crazy druggie sex with chase.

Tonights episode what awesome!! I admit too, that I'm jealous of that girl. The whole '6 months and counting thing'. Very teasing.
