*At first Maggie can only look at him in surprise. It's been such a long time for her since she's seen him* . . . Kyle . . ? *seeing the look on his face though, she kneels down next to him, speaking gently* 'Tis alright, *she assures him* 'Twillna take much for us te clean it up.

*Kyle smiles as he recognizes Maggie. He runs up and gives her a hug* I knew I'd see you again!

*Maggie opens her arms to catch him as he runs up to her, returning the hug as her memory of their last meeting comes back to her more clearly* I'm so very glad te see ye, too, Kyle *she tells him, trying to push back the worry in her face and voice to smile back at him*

I just wanted a book to read *he says, pulling away from her hug and looking at the bookshelf* but the one I wanted was too high to reach. I'm sorry I knocked all the other books down.
*he starts to pick them up, a book at a time, and puts them back on the shelf*

'Tis alright, truly. *she tells him again, moving over to help him put the rest of the books away. Once they're back on the shelf, she smiles over at him again* There now, good as new.
Which book did ye want te read? *she offers* Mayhap I can reach it for ye.

*Maggie rises to her feet again and follows where he points to see the book, and quickly realizes that - at her height (or lack thereof), it's out of her reach as well* Hmm . . . I'm afraid I'mna tall enough te reach it, either. *she steps back for a moment, considering* But mayhap if I lift ye up, we can reach it together.

Careful - oh! *Once Kyle's balance is thrown, Maggie's is, too. She stumbles, tucking him against her to make sure she doesn't drop him, and falls backwards to the library floor with a thump*

Ow.. *Kyle bumps his elbow as they hit the ground. he scrambles to his feet as they hit the ground* Maggie, are you okay?

*Maggie hits the ground a little harder than Kyle does, but even then it's not enough to daze her for more than a few seconds.* Good heavens . . *She blinks, then pulls herself back up to a sitting position* I'm alright, Kyle, *she answers, more concerned about him* Are ye?
