Yup...and Douji...while I won't talk about it...I disapprove highly of satanism. Wicca and other types of followings I can tolorate...satanism...I can't.

Meanings: From Old English "Wicce" (Wise), this is also known as Witchcraft. Wicca is an Earth-centred, Goddess religion, some of whose members claim that theirs was the religion actually practised by historical witches, but was misrepresented throughout history as Satanism. There is in fact little historical evidence as to Wicca's ancient origins. Nevertheless, it is relevant to the WMT as its modern form contains large elements of the Qabalah, ceremonial magic, and Sex Magic. This may stem from the influence of the founder of modern Wicca, Gerald Gardner, who was a member of the OTO and was influenced by Crowley

Satanism Meanings: Historically, the Catholic Church used to label every practice which smacked of magic as Satanism or Black Magic. Unfortunately, a number of bona fide "white" magicians such as Raymond Lull and Nicholas Flamel were caught by this hysteria. However it now seems that there might have been actual Satanic practices going on, centering around the infamous "Black Mass", in which lapsed Catholics poured hatred on their former faith. One of the most influential literary descriptions of Satanism is the novel "Là Bas" by J K Huysmans. In modern times, the late Anton LaVey concocted a brand of toned down Satanism, based on self-worship and instant self-gratification.
Any belief system that is somehow based upon a sympathetic reinterpretation of Satan. Contrary to what most people think, Satanism is not actually a single religion but a number of religions, many of which have very little in common save that they all favor a sympathetic understanding of the Devil. Varieties of Satanism have been practiced throughout the past several centuries, but usually only by isolated, solitary individuals, and these individuals were not exactly free to make their religious beliefs known in a public context.
Satanism is a religious or philosophical movement centered around Satan or another entity identified with Satan, or centered around the forces of nature, particularly human nature, represented by Satan as an archetype. Unlike many religions and philosophies, Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. wow....your really well informed.....and its kinda creepy that religion is even entering into the equation of this guild....wouldn't it be easier to just keep religion (no matter what it is) out of this place, thus keeping it a secular area for the free exchange of thought and role-play....?
