Taki trailed off and started eating.
Meanwhile...
"Im going to go watch... If not help alittle..."
Ral walked out of the barrier.
"Outlander, I shall be your second..."
Ral stood ready for any sort of attack from Vain's army. Kori appeared right next to Ral.
"This could be fun!"

Once they both were finished, Daishi stood, leaving some coins on the table to pay for their meal and turned towards the door. As he did so, he noticed a few of the men giving Taki certain 'looks' that he'd recognize on any man. He wondered why he didn't notice last night and shrugged, perhaps he'd been too lost in thought. He gave disapproving glares at the men before wrapping an arm protectively around Taki's shoulders and walking out. He sent a telepathic message to her, giving her a small apologetic smile
"Sorry for being so forward, I don't like the looks you're getting from some people here..."

Taki said nothing but a small smile crossed her lips as she began to blush. She leaned her head against his side and closed her eyes as they walked.

Cyrus frowned slightly, then got up "Let me handle this, Tallie"
He headed out of the chamber and to the entrance, scratching the bulge on his back. He stepped through the barrier and faced Vain "I have a proposition for you......if you are not a weakling, of course"

Daishi smiled as he watched her from the corner of his eye as they walked out of the town. Once they were out of sight of the sentries and in the forest, Daishi stopped and looked at Taki. He sensed Catalyxe's barrier along with the Haut soldiers surrounding it. He smiled a bit; he had an idea.
"I sense a barrier around the others and I don't think I'll be able to teleport us through though I have an idea...Have you ever gone so fast, that you're invisible to the naked eye, and if you have, do you mind?..."

In one easy movement, Daishi picked Taki up, one hand supporting her back and the other beneath her knees. Holding her securely, he gave her a reassuring smile.
"If you don't mind, I can run there and past the soldiers before they can even blink. I promise I won't drop you or anything..."

How about your soul gets sent through a one way trip to a Soulnado, where there is NO coming back? Naw, I wouldnt want that, but sure, I accept your chalange. But let me make the rules clear. You and I, one on one, NO weapons, and NO powers. Just a straight up fight. i don't want ANY excusses to be made if either of us lose. Fair enough?

Daishi gave a soft chuckle and sped off, the trees and scenery flashing around them.
I won't let anything hurt you...
He ran through the ranks of the soldiers and through the barrier, the only signs of their passing was a great burst of wind, causing some banners to sharply snap in their wake. Once in the cave with the others, he announced their presence as he did a spin with Taki in his arms.
"We're here!..."

Cyrus nodded, then smirked "Very well, I will wait for you in this forest at dusk.......now, if you woudl be so generous as to call off your men, I will take my leave" He turned to the others "Not a word of this to Tallie!" He stepped through the barrier and went back into the cave, then went and sat back down next to Catalyxe
"Cyrus, what went on out there" Catalyxe looked at cyrus seriously "I hope you aren't keeping anything from me"
Cyrus blushed deeply "Tallie, you know I would not hide anything from you...I just used my powers of persuasion to make Vain and his forces leave for now...that is all"

Vain: Troops, move out. I will be taken care of this on my own.
Soldier: SIR! You sure this is wise?
Vain: Yes, tonight will be their down fall. Its the Red Moon, my strength will be at its peek, and the true evil within will be unleashed.
::The soldier nodded and sarting moving the troops back to their main camp::
