Malik muttered something under his breath, obveously unhappy with trying to take care of the creature.
Yami Malik wrapped around Ryou's leg as the little hikari got close, not wanting to sit here alone.Not that he would admit he wanted someone around.
Malik frowned, then sat behind the yami,not wanting to take care of him,but the egyptian knew if he did this, no one would bug him about it later.
He didn't touch Yami Malik.

Jou sighed as Yami no Malik grasped Ryou's leg, recognizing this behavior. It was something he'd wished he could do at home more often then not, although he would never admit it himself anymore then Yami Malik would- just to be close to someone. After a good enough beating he would lay in bed and hold onto a pillow for a lack of anything else, listening to the sounds of his father trudging through the apartment muttering to himself. He closed his eyes at the memory, trying to block out the fact that sooner or later, he would have to go home. Sooner or later. Somehow, this scenario beat that scenario out by a long shot.
"You okay Ryou?" he asked quietly, not opening his eyes. He didn't know how Ryou would react to the wounded man on the ground grabbing him like that.

Malik muttered under his breath.
"If he's not,this..thing..is going to have more trouble than being incapacitated.."
The egyptian put his hand on the yami's shoulder gently,but Yami Malik didn't react.

Ryou gasped a bit when the dark figure on the ground grabbed his ankle. It was like a shadow comeing to life or something of the sort. He frowned but made no move to try to get away. He sort of felt sorry for him...
"Its okay...we arent going anywhere..." he said to Yami no Malik, feeling weird saying something like that to him...something comforting. With a sigh he looked over to Malik. He smiled a little bit and looked towards the window, the sun was starting to go behind the trees...the time sure did go by fast.
At the thought his stomach growled, he hadnt had anything to eat except for breakfast. Which was one toast. He frowned and looked back to the hands around his leg.

Yami Malik continued to hold onto Ryou,not caring what he said.The creature curled up around Ryou's leg, causing the millenium rod sticking out of him to shift slightly.Pain seared through the creature's body,but Yami Malik ignored it.
Malik yawned, then lay down next to the yami, starting to feel tired again.
"Is it just me,or is it already night time again?"

"Night again...!? You've gotta be kidding..." at this point, Jou's voice began to sound a little panicked. Okay, one night and a day away from home wasn't bad. But two in a row? How was he supposed to explain that!? And if he went home like this, his father would assume he'd been out on the streets fighting again...
The blond groaned as he slid down on the step, sitting down now on the floor next to Yami no Malik's head. Slowly and almost absentmindedly, he reached out to lay his hand on the creatures head and run it over his hair. He couldn't help it. The guy was acting too much like a kitten or something, for crying out loud- and it wasn't like Jou was thinking straight. His thoughts were back at his apartment, with his father.

Yami Malik felt Jou hand run through his spikey hair,making him feel drowsy.The creature's grip on Ryou's leg began to loosen,his blink getting slower and slower and his eyelids drooping lower and lower.Finally he let his body uncurl from the other hikari's leg.
Yami Malik felt strangely..comfortable,near them.He couldn't explain why,nor would he admit it.
Malik sighed and looked over at Jou.
"What?Did you have somewhere to go?"The smaller egyptian's lavender eyes stared into Jou's intently.Not that he cared about it, he just didn't want a long silence to start.

Jou continued running his hand through Yami Malik's hair, watching him relax before looking back over at Malik, locking gazes with lavender eyes. "Well, yeah. Home. But I can't... go back like this," he admitted, gesturing towards his arm before putting his hand back down into sandy locks.

Ryou watched the two silently. He was amazed that even someone like Yami no Malik could look...so relaxed. He turned his gaze back towards to Jou. When he mentioned his arm, and his own arm seemed to respond with a little pulse of pain. "Do you want some medicine?" he asked Jou, forgetting about his own pain for the time being.
The sunlight of the setting sun shone right through the window, lighting up the room greatly, even without the power. Ryou winced at the sudden light change and closed his eyes.

Malik groaned,the sudden light hurting his eyes.The egyptian rolled over,shielding his eyes.
Yami Malik growled in agitation at the light,closing his eyes tightly.
Malik finally face Jou the best that he could with his eyes closed(he actually turned the opposite way)
and said.
"Why can't you go home?"The egyptian turned his face away from the light.
(Ya..must come up with biggg plot somethings.. eek )

Jou merely twitched at the light, closing the one eye closest to the window. His hand continued to try and soothe the "beast" on the floor with a slow petting motion, the rest of him not ready to move quite yet. "Maybe some asprin or somethin', Ryou... that'd be good. I seriously owe you for all of this."
He then let out a heavy breath and turned his attention to Malik.
"Just can't. How would your sister feel if you came home with a broken arm?" he asked quietly. Well, knowing Isis, she'd probably be curious and worried about it, but he decided not to bring that up himself.

"She'd be curious and wonder about it.Why?"Malik was beginning to feel agitated,not likeing the way Jou was beating around the bush.he tryed his best not to show it yet,though.
Bakura scowled down at them from the darkness of the attic.So pathetic,mortals.Even Yami Marik had become weak,allowing them to take care of him like that.The white haired tomb robber made no noise,his theiving instinct allowing him to be totally silent.His brown orbs stared down at his weakling hikari.
'So naive to my plans,always resisting his inevitable control of my body.'Bakura growled mentally.
'But now I don't have to share a body any longer,and now I can even dispose of those pathetic fools.'He began to smirk,silently watching,waiting..
(Just say if anyone wants to play Bakura.For the sake of plotness!*cackles*)

((haha well I WOULD but I wouldnt know what to do with him...so I dont know XP))
Ryou nodded to Jou and left the room to the kitchen. The sun didn't light this room as much, considering the window didnt face the setting sun, and it made his eyes more comfortable. He grabbed a bottle and took out two pills. As he reached for the glass a shiver ran up his spine. He didnt understand it at first, his eyes looking around curiously. Was the window open? No...
Trying to dismiss the feeling he poured some water and started back into the area infront of the stairs. He handed Jou the glass and pills before walking over to the couch and sitting down, facing the others. "Because she is your sister." Ryou replied before Jou could. He sort of felt that Jou was uncomfortable answering it. "You can stay here another night if you want" he said to Jou and smiled a bit. "I dont care" Ryou added and put his head on his hand. The light from the window seemed to make Ryou's white hair glow slightly.
Once again an uncomfortable shiver occured and he looked towards the window. That one wasnt open either. He felt as though this had happened before...but he tried to ignore it. He was probably just tired or something.

Bakura watched his hikari shiver.He had pondered pouncing on Ryou when he was in the kitchen,but decided against it.The yami slipped back into the shadows to wait for the right time.
Yami Malik lifted his head and peered up the stairs,but not seeing anything,he lay his head back down.The creature could have sworn he saw that pathetic fool,Bakura,up there,but he didn't say anything.
Malik sighed as the light finally faded,leaving it quite dark.The egyptian sighed,sitting up,not feeling tired for some reason.He felt a strange feeling there was more than 4 people here,but he didn't see anything.
Bakura began to smirk as darkness settled into the house.He stepped silently back to his other position.
'This will make my plans run easier..'The tomb robber cackled mentally..

Ryou tried to push that feeling back in his mind but it was still there. Once again he looked to the window. Still it wasnt open, nor was the door. Then why did he feel so cold? With a startling realization he looked towards the others. Slowly getting up he made his way to the stairs. "I...I have to go get something" he said softly and started upstairs. He must of been just tired...thats all. He tried to reassure himself. What he thought was gone from his life forever...might just be back.
Finally he got to the end of the hall, standing in shadows. The darkness surrounded him like a blanket, and now he wished the power was on. It felt scary, even with 3 other people downstairs. His brown eyes darted to his sides as he walked inside his room...
((woo...there X3 maybe something will happen *shrugs* I am just so bored))
