Takiko-chan Wow, DVDs in the US are really expensive... All anime that I watch is fansubbed. sweatdrop for sooo long ive wanted to get the dvd's but i dont have money...i feel broke sweatdrop

Solara_Chan I know I want to finish some of the series I have been collecting but I don't have a job, so that means no cash! Hopefully I get some from my family for my birthday... for me i get money every birthday, christmas, and every other 20 babysits xp or my dad may feel generous or guilty so he sends me some extra cash, even when its against my own will sweatdrop

I'd have to say is makes me happy being an adult for this reason: I earn my money and I get to spend it how I damn well please.
I have always had great parents who would get me and my brother things from time to time if they thought we'd earned it. When my mom knew what we were interested in she would scour for things to give us when it was appropriate. I mean for Valentine's day one year I got two DVDs of Sailor Moon S o_o It was sweet. One Christmas practically all my presents were anime DVDs. And it reminds me, my mom is going along with my ex-High School's Japanese club trip to a Japanese outlet mall in Chicago with a Kinokuya (huge Japanese bookstore) so I need to give her a list of anything I'm looking for >^^<
Though I noticed a definite change when I got into college, I'm hardly home as I used to be even being just 45 minutes away. So when my mom visits or I go home usually we go shopping and pretty much every time I get a DVD or manga or something on my mom. Though I do try to be reasonable and keep things cheap or decide if its something I really want. I want to be independent, and my mom just wants to help and keep me from spending so much myself ^^;;; Heh, parents.

you're lucky sweatdrop my mom mocks me whenever i dont have the money to get a manga, let alone anime stare and my dad'll spend money but not too much. i think the most he'll buy me is worth only one dvd...so what am i gonna do, wait over 8 years to get all the dvds of FY? stare (how many dvds are there anyway...?)

I saw a girl's list (she loved Amiboshi) and ocasionally, she would randomly write "Amiboshi..." as one of the "symptons" (sp?) xp really? sounds good to me lol well, i have officially made my own little tamahome section in my binder that contains a few of the best pictures of him and some others in my opinion...then i kept talking about how i would save my money from my summer job and babysitting this year so i can get that darn series, even if i do have to spend more than 150 stressed (oh and "symptoms" but nobody's peeved too much about spelling errors like that right? 3nodding ) wow which sticky am i in anyway?? if this is imadoki i'll try to get back on topic about how i may add other pages to my binder of koki or something heart (not forgetting all other bishi of course, just referring to koki here especially sweatdrop )
