Saïx watched her as she slowly begun to calm in his arms. That's right. Just a bad dream...It's not real. He thought with a smile. He left her try to pull away and he let go of her instantly to avoid a struggle.

Keep going? This late?

"Are you sure, Tifa? It's late...we could all use more sleep..." Saïx said, his voice in a whisper. He felt tired now that he went to sleep at all. But...Tifa had a point in needing to find Sora and the others.

Damnit. Why did he have to give into this woman?! If it were Axel or any of the others he would have easily protested.

Love sucks in a way. You get soft and look like a fool. He muttered to himself. He hated it...but he felt so complete feeling such emotions. Damn it was so confusing!!

Standing up after a heavy sigh, he nodded his head. "Alright. Let's go find the Keyblade Bearer and his friends. I hear Kairi and Xemnas is with them." He mused, thinking about the events he had heard.

Sloth and Envy were there as well... He hissed. What if Sloth was still there? He was actually wondering if he should avoid fighting...

Fighting right now would only cause problems. They need to reunite first and go to the other worlds, stop the Heartless Organization and destroy Ceaser...

Easier said than done.

Kairi blinked, "They hurt....? Oh...that's right, your feet. We should get them fixed up." the redhead reached into her side pack and dug around for a potion and some bandages. "Here, this will help" she handed Xemnas the potion and wrapped the bandages around the cuts.

They needed to get back, she wanted to know how Sora was doing. Kairi looped her index finger in and out of the ribbon on her back, she could barely keep still she was so worried. "Tell me when you feel up to walking, ok ? We have to get back."

Aerith wasn't a big coffee drinker. It usually gave her an overwelming headache, but she could sip at the expresso. She was a bit surprised at what her friend had said, "Leon? Really?" she blinked, "I kinda figured, but I guess we'll have to wait until this fiasco is over..."

The brunette sighed and looked over at the marketplace. It looked like someone was running towards them.

Cloud!?

Before she could get up to greet him, she was whisked into a hug. It was so fast, Yuffie was cheering. People were gathered around them, staring. After a moment, she finally realized what happened, and she couldn't believe it.

She had told him that she liked him online, and she was a bit worried when he didn't say anything. He had just told her to wait for him here.

She would wait forever for him.

Words wouldn't come, she had no idea what to say. She fumbled around in her head, searching for the right words, but to no luck.

"....Cloud!" it was the only word in her head, and she was glad for it. Aerith wrapped her arms around him. This could possibly be the happiest day of her life.

Cloud heard his name once before Aerith hugged him. Yuffie started to cheer. He suddenly found that with all that happiness, he was slightly embarrassed. There was a small crowd around them…but he just didn’t want to let go. The blonde didn’t know what had come over him, but he just wanted to stay in the warm embrace. He just wanted to stay how he was. It was just so…perfect.

As Yuffie suddenly ran off, Cloud found himself just a bit more embarrassed. He let go of Aerith and smiled at her, his face probably showing just how he felt. He looked around at the staring crowd. They were all smiling and happy. He was smiling, too.

“Sorry it took so long.”

Aerith couldn't help but smile. They were both so happy, "What do you mean, 'Sorry it took so long?' You're here, aren't you?" she stood on her toes and whispered to him, "And I couldn't be happier" she smiled and hugged him again...then she finally noticed.

Oh man.

People.

Lots of people.

They seemed happy for the new couple, but their presence was starting to slightly irrate the brunertte.

"Uh...let's head back to Merlin's...or atleast someplace quiet?"

Cloud was still smiling. They both seemed beyond joyous. She hugged him again, and the blonde just had to wonder if she noticed the crowd around them.

Oh. Now she noticed.

Cloud nodded, agreeing to go to Merlin's. He reached over and took her hand, walking down the street towards Merlin's.

"Yeah, I don't think I'd mind being out of this crowd, either."

From what he had been figuring lately, Pride wasn't a half bad man. Then all of a sudden, everybody says he's one of those Poo People...

Snap.

Xigbar raised his head up from his wonderful dreaming and stared at the two that were talking. He ran a hand through his hair, before sitting up and sliding off the computer desk-thing. Pride had left by the time his long dreams were gone. He frowned and looked over at Riku.

"M... My head feels hazy." He simply stated as he rubbed at his head. He looked over at Riku, who looked... Disturbed. Before he could do anything, however, Riku collapsed asleep in a chair. Xigbar made a face as he picked up Riku, easily carrying him. He glanced over at the computer and sighed as he left.

The computer screen lit up and a chat window appeared on it.

PrgTrn: Oh good, the users are safe.
CmdStm: NOSHITSHERLOCK. And this is your fault that I couldn't get out in time and make Sephy come.
PrgTrn: He would have killed everything that moves!
CmdStm: Would you rather me go out and kill everything that moves and everything that doesn't move?
PrgTrn: That does not compute.
CmdStm: SHURE IT DOES COMPY BUTT.

The screen turned off.

Finally, the bleeding and pain stopped. Xemnas wiggled his toes around as Kairi wrapped the bandages around his feet and helped him drink the potion. He licked at his lips, having problems drinking on his own as well. He was glad Kairi was here to help.

He waited a few good moments as he finished getting dressed. He felt all warm now. It was a very good feeling.

"Thank you so much, Miss." He smiled as he held onto himself. He stood up and practiced walking a little more before he nodded. "Yes, Miss Kairi, we can continue on." He said as he proudly walked along a little more.

Was Merlin's house always this far away from the marketplace? It seems like it's taking forever to get there.

Yuffie trudged down the side street and into the borrough, feeling like she was made of lead. Part of it she knew could be chalked up to being incredibly tired: it had been a long day, and the seemingly constant battles hadn't helped much. However, the real underlying cause had to deal with the emotional roller coaster she was now riding with no end in sight. Granted, she was happy for Cloud and Aerith, estactic really, but along with it came a gradually overpowering feeling of melancholy. Not only was she being constantly reminded of her own relationship problems, but she had lost the only other person she could truly comiserate with. Silently cursing herself for her selfishness, and choking back tears, she kept trudging until she reached her destination.

Without her usual hyperactive spark, she pushed the door open, walked in, and silently closed the door behind her. Keeping unusually quiet, she moved over to a relatively empty corner and sat down, pulling her knees to her chest. "Aerith and Cloud are coming...." she said to no one in particular, "....did anything interesting happen while we were gone?"

Get away from trouble. Get away from battles. Get away from things that you aren't capable of handling. That's the way to deal right now Namine. You may be useless, but at least you can stay alive until you figure out who these people are and what is going on and why they seem familiar and...

She stopped and set her hands on her knees, her breath coming in heavy, heavy gulps as she tried to slow the painful throbbing of her heart. I want something normal. I want to be around people I recognise and trust. She inhaled again, though it was difficult on her part. Her head spun a little, which made her consider that she wasn't used to running around at all.

This isn't fun anymore. She straightened and closed her eyes briefly as she pressed her hand to her side. It wasn't fun to begin with.

Why was she so scared? Inside, she felt something curl up over her heart, spiky and sharp and burning. Honestly, she had no idea. She shook her head and blinked back whatever it was that made the back of her eyes feel hot and moist. But she was and the rest of the world could go to oblivion until she got over it. She wasn't abut to cry. NO.

Shrugging off the fatigue she felt from running up the rather steep inclines of uneven rock that led away from the battle to up to she-wasn't-sure-what, Namine walked this time (running made her feel like she was guilty and avoiding something) and took the time to view the way the place changed drastically around her.

It was a city. A small one, but a city nonetheless. And it was pretty... in it's own way. At least, that's the way she saw it.

Walking through the paths and ways, she lifted her hand to trace her fingers along the walls. The texture was like rock, but smoother, and it made her think of Twilight Town and how it was so nice to be there -- nevermind that she'd only been there a short while. Her thoughts turned to Roxas and she couldn't help but wonder if Sora was right and that she'd see him sometime soon. Why do I even want to see him? she frowned to herself, feeling her cheeks grow hot. She was terribly attached to someone she'd just met -- and had hung out with for only a brief amount of time.

I wonder if he's... She halted almost instantly and swallowed at the sight of him lying curled up outside of a small house that lookd like it had been squeezed in-between the ones around it.

Why isn't he inside? Walking close, she tiptoed near enough to peer down at him, hesitating only because there was something curled up in his arms. Something blue and breathing. What is that? She wondered, swallowing again as she curled her fingers into a fist. It wasn't fair. She wanted to be in Roxas' arms. Whatever it was that was there now didn't belong there.

She did.

It was a dreamless sleep. Why? Wasn’t everyone else having dreams? Was that a bad thing? Everyone else had them… why not him? He had a heart. He should be able to dream his own dreams. Sora’s weren’t bad, they just weren’t his. But now… now he had none of them.

The boy began shivering, even with the alien in his lap. Roxas hadn’t even noticed when Stitch had crawled near. Nor had he noticed that the person he wanted to see the most was right beside him.

Namine.

Namine.

If only he didn’t have this mess to deal with. He wished it could go away.

Why him?

She saw him shiver and as if her body was tune into his, she became aware that her hands were cold, though damp. She wanted to pull him close, but she wasn't sure if that would upset the thing that had crawled up beside him.

She just wanted to get close. There wasn't anything wrong with that, right? So Namine opted for the best thing.

She inched close, her fingers curled around the hem of her skirt as if holding on to courage. Roxas was warm, despite the fact that he shivered which should have meant that he was cold. Warm was good. Warm was comfortable. Warm meant safe.

We're safe here, together. She thought, though she wasn't really sure if it was the right thing to say. Namine reached up and brushed a strand of hair from his closed eyes and leaned in, her cheek against the solidness of his shoulder. She breathed in and closed her eyes -- not to sleep, just to rest a bit.

We'll be safe.

What? Warmth? Who… what?

It was dark out, so Roxas’ eyes did not have to adjust to the light. He looked down in his lap to find Stitch there, probably as happy as could be. When did he show up? He was lucky he was so familiar or else Roxas would have been more than frightened to find such a creature so close.

He was about to rub his eyes so the drowsiness would dissipate when he noticed someone else… someone he had not seen since they were in Twilight Town.

Blond hair… a white dress… blue eyes…

It was her. It was really her. She was here. Since when? Had he fallen asleep when she showed up? How could he! She must have thought he was a fool… some weak kid who couldn’t even stay awake through the night.

But that didn’t matter. She was here… with him.

A grin, goofier than he would have liked (well, he did spawn from Sora), spread across.

“Namine!”

She jolted to attention and blinked at the smile he sent her way. It made her feel all warm inside in a good and wonderful way. "Hi..." she murmured softly, her cheek still there, resting against the reality of him. "Are you okay?" She asked him, shyly, noting that he had the nicest, kindest eyes ever.

"Are you tired? I saw that you were asleep. It is stuffy inside?" She looked over his shoulder, calling attention to the house behind them.

Stitch stirred, disgruntled at the sudden presence that seemed to be suffocating him. Making a soft noise of dissent, the tiny creature stirred, pitch black eyes opening to see something white and blonde and....

"Oooooooh....."

Pretty.

Blinking and tilting his head - things were weirdly big when one was less than a foot tall - Stitch stared up at the pretty girl in wonder. Roxas was apparently already awake, judging from the stirring and the talking.

Flattening his ears to the side of his head delightedly, Stitch watched quietly as the two talked. Of course, it has to be noted that Stitch indeed did have a dreadfully nonexistent attention span, and did not like to sit quietly for long periods of time, especially now that he was awake.

Reaching out with a tiny paw, the little summon tugged on the white fabric experimentally. "Eeeeeh! Eeeeh!!"

She blinked several times and looked down, her eyes growing wide as she stood up unexpectedly now that the... whatever-it-was was awake and tugging on the only set of clothes she had on hand. She might've tripped if her feet hadn't had the sense to promptly untangle themselves underneath her.

Now though, roughly three feet away, she felt flustered and in order to recover whatever was left of her dignity, she smoothed her clothes. Her cheeks were pink -- she was sure of it. They were the onyl warm patches on her face in spite of this cold. And then she remembered that Roxas was still watching and that the little yelp that had struck the night had come from her.

"Uh..." she smiled weakly, a soft uneasy laugh lacing her words. "Hello...?"

Heeeey, it moved!

With an excited chitter, Stitch slipped out of Roxas' lap, gambolling delightedly towards the girl before settling beside her left leg. His large ears flattened against his head, Stitch flashed her a grin full of teeth and held up a paw in greeting. "H-Hiiiiiiiiiii....!!"

He wasn't too used to speaking, but the critter was a quick learner - words were useful, after all - and he had picked up things here and there.

Besides, it felt good to be understood by other people besides Sora and Roxas.

Following the greeting, however, the little blue alien promptly attached his small self to her leg in a hug.
