Rockman.EXE was called Megaman.EXE here in the states. I love that series~ the manga, anime and games<3 Enzan's american name is/was Chaud(he's the white haired boy on my sig bar) and his mother died when he was little and his dad wasn't abusive but was just a tiny step from it RE is shot for Resident Evil. It's a popular survival(well, use to be survival) game involving zombies(depending on which one you play(4&5 didn't really have zombies, but something like them)). Leon is my favorite from the RE series. He's almost one of favorite male video game characters, but is beaten by Link and Vincent from FF7
I know what you mean by being freaked out by something and it causing you to not be able to sleep. Have you ever seen the youtube cartoon Salad Fingers? I HATE that cartoon! It scares the §hit out of me and I usually like stuff like that. There's been a few times where I've had to sleep with lights on because I thought he was gonna get me!
Yeah, I'd have to say killing zombies with a few of my favorite characters would be the best dream ever... if only I didn't have one kidney, then maybe more of my favorites would have shown up...
Hope you get a good rest and not think about zombies~ And sorry for mentioning it. I didn't know they freaked you out

@JK: Manga can definitely apply too. XD
I think I would play Jumanji if I found out it really exsited, even knowing the risks. XD
I can sleep through light pretty well, and sometimes movement. It's sound that always wakes me up, and my parents just happen to be really loud in the mornings. XP
@Ghost: That's a pretty awesome dream. XD Never got into Rockman, and have never actually played RE, but I do know who Leon is, mostly because I'm a big fan of Survival-Horror games, so research ones I haven't played.
@JK: Wow, I don't think I've ever met someone who was legitimately afraid of zombies. Tons of people who believe they will take over and are preparing for it but yeah... That's kind of awesome. XD I always sleep with the fan on too! o.o Maybe it's because I need the sound to distract me from other sounds that will wake me up... but then again, I also live in Arizona, so it doesn't really get that cold even in winter with the fan on. XD That is scary though, that the power went out then. o.o
I love bad zombie movies. XD And Left 4 Dead. <3

@Ghost: Link FTW, though Sheik is actually my favorite video game character... and Boos and Luigi from the Mario games. ^^
I've seen Salad Fingers. XD I can see how the series would scare you, but Salad Fingers himself...? He's just so adorable and loving, I don't think he would hurt anyone. XD;; Then again, I haven't seen that series in forever. I have a friend who got a Hubert Cumberdale thong though...
I don't really have an irrational fears... they're all pretty rational, like people breaking in the house, or the place catching on fire, or perverts looking in the window... though sometimes I do freak out for a night if I play a scary game all day or something. XD

@Kitsune~ I don't know why I'm so afraid of Salad Fingers.. I just am. Like I said, I'm usually into stuff like that but that cartoon just scares the bejesus out of me!
I think you should play RE. My personal favorite is RE2 but also like 3 & 4, but 4 doesn't have zombies.... but the chainsaw guys in 4 freak me out. My sister makes fun of me for spazzing when ever I hear one rev up their chainsaw .... I also fear regenerators. My sister has to go through that hospital for me because the place is crawling with em....

@Ghost - haha, hey mention EVERYTHING. Anyhow reading about stuff like that doesn't freak me out, just zombies freak me out. I'm just saying if I had my own zombie dream I'd probably be really disturbed.
Yes I know Resident Evil, just didn't think when I saw RE I guess - seen all the movies and played one of the games (actually the game was the dawn of my phobia I think, actually being the target for the zombies - I made my now ex but then boyfriend play a lot of it for me because I was too freaked). Anyhow I haven't seen this salad thing but we'll see if I go look for it... razz
@Kitsune - guess I'm the opposite, noise will keep me up but it own't wake me up - light and movement get me everytime (when it comes to light more reasons I'm a bigger fan of winter - I can sleep more!!!).
Haha, and glad to be kind of awesome...^_~. And yea this guy rewrote P+P and included a Z. My friend got all jazzed last spring when it came out, I remember seeing her facebook status reading "Roxanne can't wait to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" and I replied: I hope you are talking about two different books here. But nope. It's not bad though I happen to really love P+P so I feel it kind of loses some of the more awesome elements in the rewrite.

@JK~ I don't care much for the movies... they kinda screwed up the characters from the games... Jill does NOT have black hair or smoke... she was my favorite chick RE character aside from Ada.... but then the games screwed Jill up in RE5..... I miss the original Jill Sounds like an interesting book. I should read it<3 Whose it by?
@Apo~ RE is like Silent Hill but I think SH does a better job of psychologically f'ing up one's mind... I've played all the RE games including the including Code: Veronica, which really messes with your mind if you don't play close attention, and only one SH game, but the one game screwed with my head so much. Those nurse things were BA though! I loved them when they weren't trying to stab me!

I'm sure the movie screwed a lot of things up. I have no doubt VG - movie productions are executed no better than most book - movie, I just haven't played any games that have gone there.

@Ghost: Some people just have things that freak them out like that. XD I'm terrified of Bombchus in the Zelda games, for example (not the items, but the actual monsters in Majora's Mask).
I've watched people play RE before, and it was interesting, but I really suck at FPS, especially on consoles. Not to mention, I just have a hard time getting into Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Eternal Darkness, because they're just... er, sorry if this insults anyone, but they're not that scary at all. I started playing horror games with Fatal Frame, Haunting Ground, and Clock Tower 3, and those games are just... terrifying compared to the more popular Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. They're interesting games, but I just can't enjoy them as much since they're not as scary as what I'm used to.
@JK: Salad Fingers is pretty messed up, though cute in it's own way. I never was super into it, but it was entertaining at least. Kind of a select taste.
Nah, I sleep through the light of day easily, though I cannot fall asleep in the day time. XD;; I've never been able to take naps or anything.
That's such a strange book idea. XD I didn't like Pride and Prejudice though, so I probably wont' bother picking it up, even if it is zombies.
@Ghost: Though Pyramid Head was scary enough, like I've said, Silent Hill games just weren't enough for me. XD;; However, the one coming out soon for Wii (and PS3 and 360? Not sure...), which is a remake of the first one, I believe, looks much better... it asks you questions at the beginning, then depending on your psychology, changes the game for you. And you can't fight in this one; you just need to run from the monsters, who will organize ambushes on you, and that sounds a lot scarier to me.

@Kitsune~ It doesn't offend my in the slightest, I was scared of it when I was little but I was one of those kids that were afraid of everything.... I'm not scared of SH, it just f****d with my mind... I don't like my mind being messed with.
And as for things that freak people out, in RL I'm TERRIFIED of spiders. The tinest one will have me screaming for someone to kill it. I didn't use to be afraid of them but my mom got bit by one when I was little and now her leg is three times the size it should be and she has severe health problems with it so I guess I'm afraid something like that will happen to me... but in Zelda, the huge ones in Twilight Princess don't even faze me.. but the ones in RE: Umbrella Chronicles scare me so bad that I have to have my sister go through certain parts for me. It makes me sense because the LOZ ones are way more realistic looking...
I was watching my best friend play SH once and she completely flipped out at Pyramid Head... it was kinda funny to watch. As for the new one coming out, all you can do is run?!?!? Where's the fun in that??
JK~ They're gonna make a 4th RE movie and they're gonna make Leon Latino.... as a Leon fangirl I'm upset, I'm not racist it's just that they made Carlos a white guy and Leon a Latino guy.. that's completely reversed!! Besides, an emo Spanish guy?? WTF??
@Apo~ My sister got my into survival horror.. she's SUPER into RE and worships Wesker, but my friend was playing SH when I went to her house one time and she let me try it out... I was so confused at what I was doing.. I was running around in circles forever!! I fail at SH!!
I get to play Devil May Cry this Halloween~<3 My best friend bought it and I'm going to her house for the holiday weekend<3 I think we're gonna be saloon girls... or zombies.... maybe zombie saloon girls....? Anyway, I've always been into DMC but never had the system to play it on so I'm super excited to get to play it. I'm gonna fail so bad, I just know it XD;

@Kitsune - yea, I don't know if you'd like P+P+Z disliking P+P, I mean I dislike P+P+Z because I just love the original P+P so. I wouldn't recommend it though, like I said he doesn't augment the plot much, and the biggest changes are character changes, which I think are for the worse. He kind of detracts dimension from the characters. Maybe it's just my generally being a character based (versus plot based) fan, but that just seems like a bad move.
@Ghost - I expected they'd make a 4th, the 3rd makes absolutely no sense where it ends. I do like the movies but I don't play the games (as the only one I ever even played part of scared the crap out of me, hehe). Sorry that it's going to traumatize you though - don't watch!!
Not to be racist either, but just on names if you heard Carlos and Leon you'd think the Spanish guy would not be the one named Leon. But yes I hate when they do massive character changes from a primary source - race especially. I mean it's like I spent my whole life in love with a man I thought was white and discovered he was a potato...haha ok AWFUL example, and I'm not obsessed with potatos...just b/c I happen to talk about them a lot.
Anyhow I can't really picture emo Spanish guy, that'll be weird - or he'll just lose the emo I guess.
HAHAHA...ok I'm sitting here finishing this "post on the zombie thread" and then realize, wait, there is something off about that. This isn't a zombie thread is it? I guess I'll see what it is after I hit submit but oye, that's funny. Think it's dreams. So to finish on dreams - which sadly aren't YGO related - last night I dreamt I shoplifted (something I've never done) truffles and bought a TON of diet lime coke. Like eww...~_~

@ Ghost: Whenever I play L4D with my friends (She lets me loan her copy, and I play against her brother and his girlfriend), I sometimes fail, but I love Versus >8D
I have never played DMC, but I'd like to. F.E.A.R also looks good, and so does RE.

Hmmm.... I haven't heard of half the things you've all mentioned :/
@Ghost: Salad Fingers freaks me out, too! I love watching it, since I love scary things, but... and especially the last three are really creepy XD
In RL, I'm terrified... of people looked into my window, getting kidnapped/killed/whatever else in the dark (I love it when it's dark, but I'm afraid of random people at that time ^.^ wink , and getting stung by a bee.... I haven't gotten stung yet, and I don't want to find out if I'm allergic especially in the middle of marching band practice <.<;
And nothing in the Zelda games really scare me... with the exception of this ONE thing... but I sadly don't remember what it was.... it was either in Majoras Mask or Ocarina of Time....
I still haven't had any YGO related dreams... sad
