Yukal stopped suddenly and turned toward the brunette. "W-what? Of course I am taking care of them!" He frowned and growled slightly. "Why would any mistreat something? I don't get it..." He waved his hand and started to walk again. "Oh... if you are looking for a village or something it's this way..." Yukal pointed down the valley. "It isn't too far. You can come with me if you want..."

"Do you talk to your plants? Every day? Apparently it's good for them. But I guess that's only if you're a plant freak, like most of them," he said, gesturing back towards the Kingdom of Earth with his thumb. "I'm not really... looking for anything. I've never really been here before, so I thought it'd be fun to explore," he said, shrugging. This was only partly true - it would probably be more aggravating than fun to examine a place so blinding as this.

"Actually, I do." Yukal gave the taller boy a small smile and folded his arms behind his head. "Explore? There isn't much to explore around here... There is some nice scenery, but nothing really overly dramatic or anything. Or it just might be that I have never left the Light Kingdom, so I wouldn't really know what other places look like... I'm rambling..." Yukal cheeks turned a light shade of red. "Y-you look terrible... If you come to my house, my mom or sister could make you feel better than new or..."

"Whaaat? Terrible?!" He looked horror stricken and grabbed the other's shoulders, his mouth turned down in a pout as he spoke. "This face? Terrible? That's... that's cruel!! To call a royal face terrible!!" He looked - and acted - just as impulsively and immaturely as a little kid.

He let go of the other after a moment, dusting his hands of against each other and said, "No big deal." He seemed to have completely forgotten his prior incredulity - he was too in the moment to care about anything that happened five second ago.

Yukal sighed when he felt the brunette remove his grip from his shoulder. "You said... royal. Are you a prince or something?" Just then Yukal noticed what the other teen was wearing. His clothes were much more expensive looking and fine than anything Yukal owned. For some reason Yukal became extremely frightened all of a sudden. He had spoken to royalty before, when the King would call his family to his corridors or when he visited their house to check up on his soldiers. But this boy was so much more intimidating. He seemed almost... dark... "Are you... from the Kingdom of Darkness?"

"Prince... hmm..." he said, feigning ignorance. "Sounds about right. Darkness? Sort of," he said, giving the other a small wink. "Haven't the rumours spread to this kingdom, then?" he asked curiously, turning now so that his back faced the other. "I know practically everyone in the Kingdoms of Earth and Darkness know, but I would have thought there would have been gossip spreading to neighboring Kingdoms as well..." he murmured thoughtfuly.

"Gossip? I'm usually by myself, so I don't really hear any of the gossip. Oh! I never caught your name, I'm Yukal Ray... which I already told you. What's your name? Ah! Sorry, I'm rabbling again..." Yukal tilted his head to the side and smiled brightly, trying his hardest to be friendly with the strange boy. His shyness had died easier than normal, and he was glad for that. "Come on, you need to get cleaned up!" Yukal grabbed the brunette's hand and pulled him along in the direction that he had pointed to ealier.

"Sayael," he murmured. Without warning, he was yanked onward by the small boy. "Cleaned up? Just because I came through the Kingdom of Earth doesn't mean I'm dirty. Cleanliness is Godliness as far as Father is concerned and... do I really look that bad?" He broke off in the middle of his rant to ask that simple question, looking quite dumb-struck.

"Sayael? That's a cool name. And yes, you seriously do look that bad. I don't lie. And besides, who said anything about you being dirty because of the Kingdom of Earth? It just seems that you have been traveling for long that..." Yukal smiled at the the taller boy before caming to a normal paced walk. "So... What do you think of the Light Kingdom so far? I think it's beautiful, but I have lived here all my life."

"It's er... light," he said, shrugging slightly. "Much brighter than even the Kingdom of Ice, and you can be blinded there from the reflections off fresh snow or ice." He looked around himself. It was... nice. Very green, but still too bright. "Besides, I only just got here and haven't really examined my surroundings too much," he explained.

"Ah, true..." Yukal hummed alittle to himself before asking "So, Sayael, how old are you? I'm sixteen myself, I was just wondering because you seem so... I don't know... older I guess. Not that I'm saying you're old or anything I'm just..." Yukal blushed a deep red and looked at the ground, "Sorry... I didn't mean...". 'Stuuuupid...' Yukal mocked himself alittle as he started to hum, out of pure embarrassment.

"Eighteen. It's only two years, but I guess it's just 'cuz you're short, huh," he said, grinning broadly. He ruffled the other's hair slightly with a hand, the part of his mind that cared absently wondering why in hell this boy was humming?! Perhaps he didn't know that it was annoying...

(Arg, sorry. Gaia was being all bitchy and junk, then I went to watch The New World...)
"D-don't call me short!" Yukal clenched his hand in tight fist and glared up at Sayrael. He shook his head quickly and sighed "And don't touch my hair..." he reached a hand up onto his head and tried to fix his red locks. "I had it all perfect and now you ruined it..." Yukal pouted and crossed his arms playfully.
Soon Yukal could see some small buildings and smiled widely. "Almost there!" he happily skipped ahead of Sayrael and hummed to himself again.
