Mergex was suddenly oushed out of the rock by Gordon. He growled at Gordon and started flinging volleys of blackfire balls at him. Gordon precceded to the same with his chaos ba;lls causing a mini-explsion blasting them both in the lake.
After a few minutes they emerged and spread there wings and faced each other. gordon and Mergex both charged at each other and the both disappeared in a purple and red poof. They appeared over the lake every few secobds fading in and out fighting each other. What the others would see is them planting one move on each other. When the poofed they foot sat there almost unseeable speeds.

Sora watched best she could from where she was levitating. She frowned, eyes narrowing, as she watched contently, although not seeing much. She wondered how it would turn out; they seemed to be pretty evenly matched from what she saw, although she knew, or hoped, Mergex woud pull out the victore. From where she stood, she felt useless; what could she possibly do?

The energy that had been transfered to Pander burst out of his chest, forcing itself back into Ishimaru. Even energy transfers were out of the question for the Van Lunatic family. Natsu would be the same as Pander. Even from heaven he was compelled to find her. She seemed well enough.
His focus turned back to Yume and the others. He could see his body and the look on Dirge's face was that of horror. Pure horror. Pander laughed as he lit a cigarette. He had almost quit too. God looked at him but said nothing. Pander lit the cigarette anyways.
They'll be fine right?..
Quite.
Good.

Yume loked at Ishimaru and Pander. I should've warned him... She shook her head. At least he wasn't trying to kill him...she took a cigarette from her pocket and lit it with her black flame lighter.
I still can't believe that so much has happened in so little time...we met at the hot springs...we went to our village...we took care of Natsu...then we came back...we went clubbing...and somehow, we ended up here.
She laughed a little bit at this. A lot really did happen in such little time...she looked over at Ishimaru. His past was troubled...even more so than hers. Tears brimmed her eyes as she remembered what the villagers did to him when he was discovered associating with her.
They tore off his wings and burned them. To an angel, this was the biggest sin--to remove your wings. To have them removed forcefully, was a disgrace. No-one was supposed to have been able to even touch his wings. There were more things, but...they'd drive her crazy even thinking about it.
Yume took another puff of her cigarette and then crushed it. The three of them all had dis-quieting pasts that they couldn't put behind them even after so many years. She sighed and looked over at the boys. They'd better wake soon, or she'd fall asleep and let them be taken by someone...

Dirge growled at the comatosed Pander. He never thought anyone of his blood line would be so reckless and loving. He had fallen in love and had a child. Once his wife had died, he became cold, caring only to find a way to protect his family. God gave it to him on his death bed. Creating for Dirge the beastial body he now resided in.
Such a fool too risk himself like that. He will be the end of me if he continues like this.
Jangen was still inside Pander's body. He took control of Pander's lips, using his own energy to power the activity.
Don't talk like that grandfather. He will be the end of both of us. Now. We have to stop that don't we. Protecting him protects us, though we don't matter as much as him. We will come back if he has children. Remember that.
Oh shut up Jangen. I know all this. I made the deal with god remember. And yes. We do need to keep him safe.

Yume looked at Dirge and Jangen. Pander having kids? She felt the heat go up to her face. Taking out another cigarette, she held it to Ishimaru. He was awake--had been for a few minutes now. He took it and took out his lighter from his pocket.
Little Pander and Yume babies...how cute.
Shut up.
You know, I tried, but I just can't seem to...
You ditz...
Yume and Ishimaru playfully glared at each other and then laughed. Pander was always poised to attack even in un-consciousness, but still...she couldn't help but worry about him. She took his head in her lap and stroked his hair, dis-carding the cigarette. She looked down fondly at him.
It looks like we've had quite an adventure, haven't we?
You speak as if these were your last days...

What are you talking about? What are you not telling me?
Promise me that you won't say anything. To anyone. I have a life-threatening disease...while I was in our village, I walked to a pharmacy for a check-up, and...I had somehow acquired this disease. It shocked me too, but...as long as you, Pander, Natsu, Amon and Dirge are beside me, I feel like I can do anything.
Yume...
I was going to die anyways...somehow...it was inevitable, but...I just never thought that it was going to be this soon....
Yume smiled through tears. Everyone she cared about...she had to leave them, and she had no choice...

Pander won't be pleased.
I agree. This will turn him back to his old self most likely. The emotional blow of you dying will tear him apart. We don't mean to sound rude of make this out to be your fault, we are just stating facts.
You opened him in a way that no one have ever been able to before. He even opened up to me more during this time. He loves you with a firey passion.
If you must go, go before he wakes. That way it will be easier for him to continue living. If he sees and watches you die, he would find someone to slice off his head.
s**t. His energy is comeing back faster than I thought. Yume. If you plan on him not seeing, now would be a good time to leave. He will be back in minutes if not less.

Yume looked at Dirge and Jangen. She was going to die, and they wanted her to leave before she could say goodbye to Pander.
You want me to leave the person I love...without saying goodbye? I refuse to leave, and I don't want anyone to die. I'll do something. I still have some time. A few months at most.
She stared at the ground, thinking of a way to get Pander to not have a mental and emotional breakdown. She'd spend as much time with him, Natsu, Amon, Ishi, and Dirge and Jangen as possible. A few months, and she had so much she still had to do...almost in tears again, she put the back ofher hand to her mouth so she could muffle the noise of her sobs.
Yume, we'll find a way to cure you. Somehow, we'll do it. You'll live, Pander won't have a breakdown, and you'll get to do all the things you've ever wanted to do.

Pander returned to his body, his eyes snapping open and a growl escaping his lips. His finger came up, pointing at Dirge from inches away.
You son of a b***h! I heard everything you said to her. And you too Jangen. How dare you! If she died then I would get someone to chop off my head.
He stood up, drawing the obsidian black dagger from his thigh. He spun it around his finger then stabbed himself through the heart. He grunted in pain but continued walking. He let his hand drop as he moved towards the shimmering water. He stuck his head under, drinking slowly but deeply.

Yume stood up and lifted Panders' head out of the water for a moment and took out the obsidian dagger from his heart gently so as not to cause him pain.
Don't cause yourself any pain...I'm not worth it.
Yume don't.
I'm sick and tired of everyone worrying about me so much...
Ishimaru looked at Yume. She was breaking. Breaking like a deteriorating book--slowly, one page at a time. She was so fragile, but she refused to admit it. He looked at her;so selfless. The epitome of perfection. Her only flaw was that she cared just a little too much.
Yume was staring at the dagger in her hand. It was...so close. So easy to just...she shook her head. She couldn't do that to Pander. It was just...it would hurt him more than it would hurt her. She was sure of it. If they found a cure, then it would obviously cost a lot or be hard to find and obtain.
If we can't find the cure, just in case, I just want to tell everyone this. I...
The words caught in her throat and she felt tears well up in her eyes.
I love you all, and I'm grateful that God has given me all of this, although I am undeserving. I'm sorry that I wasn't a better companion, and I hope you'll all go on and live better lives without me as your burden.

Gordon and Mergex stopped landing on opposite sides of the lake. " His speed and power has increased. His knowledge has also jumped. Well we will see about that. BLackfire Jetstream!" he screamed as he raised his hand a jetstream of blackfire launched over the lake and consumed Gordon.
Mergex laughed at Gordons demise. " Oh my...this is great! What a great ending!" he said laughing. But he suddenly stopped to see something slowly moving through the stream. " It cant be! It cant be!" mergex screamed.

Sora's eyes widened as she saw him still moving. "How... is that possibly?" she said softly, her hands covering her mouth in shock. She didn't know how Gordon could still be moving. "Are we sure he's... normal?" she questioned, not speaking to anyone in particular. Can... most people get up after that? she thought, suddenly glaring at Gordon. Just die already; your life can't be worht that much, can it?!

Mergex pushed harder but Gordon kept going. A red aura shone from the middle until it explode cutting the attack in to. Gordon stood there with no expression on his face. Mergex stepped back but in a flash Gordon charged and rammed him in the stomach and into the air.
Gordon flew above Mergex. He grabbed a leg and his hair and slammed him over his knee. He then slammed his fist into his stomache causing him to slam into the ground. Mergex smashed into the ground. After afew minutes he jumped out of pit looking angry. " I wont be defeated!"
