A couple months which is more than I can say for Clana. I mean Clana had a little thing in season 2 for like a day then Kal went to metropolis. Then Clark kissed Lana in Legacy but she decided to leave for Paris. In Season 5 they were together but always fighting most of the time. I mean Lexana fights a lot too and they have a lot of problems but they work through them and usually put it behind them. History of Lexana

They have about the same number of episodes but Clana was on the rocks most of their episodes. Like Reckoning (2nd time) when Lana was like "we need a break."
Lexana isn't perfect either, but they are together more consistently.

There aren't even as many secrets between them. At least none that effect their relationship. A majority of Lexana secrets are business related. Clana, Clark was CONSTANTLY lying to lana about himself, and Lana was lying to him about spending time with Lex. which can only lead to bad things.

`Chloe Sullivan` There aren't even as many secrets between them. At least none that effect their relationship. A majority of Lexana secrets are business related. Clana, Clark was CONSTANTLY lying to lana about himself, and Lana was lying to him about spending time with Lex. which can only lead to bad things. Still, Lex has lied to her face on many occasions which could affect their relationship ALot more than with Clark...I don't think I need to lay out the examples for you.

zach61092 ALot more than with Clark. You have got to be kidding. Nobody's lied more to Lana than Clark. I doubt anyone's lied more in general than Clark.

Lex might have lied to Lana's face but it was about stuff that can easily be set aside. I mean Clark is lying about who he is. Lex doesn't want Lana to see the bad side of him but Clark, by not telling her the truth, is basically showing the worst side of him cause it is fake.

Clark's secret isn't that dark, but I'd say it should affect their relationship about as much as Lex's, especially since Clark's has snowballed into this massive web of "secrets and lies" that I'd be insulted to find out about if I were Lana.

Clark was honest about his feelings for her. Except for the episode where he lied about not loving her anymore- I personally hate that episode in season 5. The fact is, Lana knows that Clark loves her and she loves him too.
The lies about his past are the only thing that I can say Lex: 1 and Clark: 0 in that aspect of their relationship with Lana.

He told her of his dark past with Duncan. I mean she wouldn't say,"You've been more honest with me than anyone's ever been," without it meaning something. And she was in tears I might add. When Clark finally was upfront with her about his feelings it was way too late.
