(ooc: Oh hey its all cool... *swings about the kunai she got at her convention* tee hee its all good)
At first Kaida was confused, but she quickly understood what all was going on. "Shunketsu-Sensei...You can be proud of me later. I think we should go help the others at this point..." Kaida walked over to Kohana and Maiko. "Stick near me...we may be in the company of 'friends' but there are still others out there that would have you dead." Kaida bent down for a moment and picking up her sensei's headband she wiped it clean and handed it back to him. "Here sensei..."

Kinoru sighed slightly counting the seconds as the whips came closer. He wasn't consurned about the one aimed at his legs, or arms. The only one that gave him the slightest worry was the one aimed at his heart, that was the one, and only one he truly needed to avoid. Finally Kinoru through an explosive tag on the ground and caused it to go off, creating a slight cloud of smoke, right after the first he caused several others to go off making more smoke and moved into the tree's. Even though he was quit easily visable as he went into the tree's, he didn't care. "30 seconds" Kinoru said as he dashed through the tree's circling the girl, changing his direction and footing as he went.

*Shunketsu accepted his headband and tied it once again around his head...*
Shunketsu: Kaida, follow Kita and take Kohana to Ramengakure...be careful...as for Kinoru and Edge...I have a bad feeling something bad is going to happen...and but it's not their well-being that I'm particularly worried about...
*Shunketsu took off into the trees...lucky for him, Kinoru was actually close by*
*Kita started walking towards Ramengakure...limping would be the correct term as her thigh was injured...*
arrow Vs Kinoru
*Kinoru was visible...and that's all they needed...Kinoru dodged the initial attack as expected...the three whips connected and the one aimed for the chest tied around the other two...the original then sent her two clones airborne in Kinoru's direction and once again had him surrounded...this time, as the 1st whip released its grip from the other two, all three were already in extended positions, being just that much closer to Kinoru, leaving him with just that much less seconds to counter...*
*Kinoru's jutsu would be taking effect any time now...but before it did whatever it did...the three once again sent their weapons spearing towards Kinoru*
*a sphere of flames surrounded Kinoru...and the whips hit the flames but refused to penetrate it...the sphere eventually began to take its shape in the form of three clones of Shunketsu...each one holding onto a whip...*
Shunketsu: Iva...hold your attack...
*Shunketsu spoke to the girl from below...*

Kinoru looked at the girl and smirked, but not because Sensei was there, his Jutsu would have drained just enuf of her natural energy and chakra by now "Sensei, I wouldn't worry about here, not now anyway" He said still smirking. As he spoke the girl would feel like something was crawling, or in this case growing under her skin, and would begin to feel like something was constricting around her heart, along with slowly feeling weaker "Thats the secret of Oujuo Zamen no Jutsu, it can be fatle to the user, but to the target, it means death. Thus why it's called the death seed jutsu" As Kinoru spoke the plant growing within the girl would be continuing to constrict around her heart, and also start on other vital organs as it grew. As Kinoru finished speaking he colapsed from exostion, the jutsu had used almost every ounce of his energy in chakra to preform, it was a miricle he wasn't dead, but kinoru knew one thing before he colapsed, that girl was strong, cause without Kao, that jutsu could only work on a shinobi with a fairly high chakra level, or someone with lots of energy.....

*as the girl slowly lost her strength, the cage around Kao disappeared and Kao was released from his prison and the paralyzing jutsu...let's hope Kao can land on his feet from high places...*
*meanwhile, Shunketsu took quick action...immediately he took the girl and set her against a tree...he revealed his empty eye socket and his chakra poured into it to form his chakra eye...*
Shunketsu: Touketsu Yomi(Frozen Hell)
*a burst of high-density chakra was sent forth, seeping into the girl's chakra systems and the plant as well...basically causing it to halt...the plant would stop tightening its grip around her heart and organs, which was all he could do for the time being...she couldn't move at the moment...but she'll live...*
Shunketsu: *sigh* who knew Kinoru had such a devestating technique...I swear these Ramen-nin should speak before they attack...
*in the back of his mind, Shunketsu knew he needed to find Edge...but both Kinoru and Iva were unconscious now...*

Kao landed almost perfectly on the ground and ran over to Kinoru. He promped him up on his back and ran up to Shunketsu. He whimpered slightly

Walking over to Kita she placed a gentle hand on her shoulder to halt her before presenting a field first aid kit. "Let me see your leg.... better we get this alil cleaned up now than wait for it...Just in case we encounter any further trouble.."

*Shunketsu brought Iva to the group...with Kao carrying Kinoru following up behind...Kita took a look at Iva*
Kita: it seems like your students are already masters at killing...
*Kita coughed a bit*
Shunketsu: I see...you didn't get rid of all the poison did you?
Kita: didn't have the time to...
Shunketsu: hmm...treat your wounds in the village...pausing here is unsafe...
*Shunketsu turned to Maiko*
Shunketsu: neh, Maiko-san...would you mind carrying Iva here back to the village?
Maiko: huh? wha? we're going to go pillage?
*apparently she had snuck some whiskey while Kaida and Kita duked it out...*
Shunketsu: *loudly* TAKE IVA BACK TO HER VILLAGE
Maiko: eh? ooooh...*hic*...sure thing...
*she took Iva from Shunketsu and waited for Kita*
Kita: well...let's go then...*cough*
*Kita leads the way*
Shunketsu: now...to get Edge...

Kaida disappeared and suddenly appearing next to Maiko she grabbed the whiskey and dumpped what was left out on the ground. "You really shouldn't drink so much... We need you alert and sober.... because I don't think you are a master at drunken fighting..." Kaida soon then followed behind Shunketsu.

After getting a clear picture of the system Edge knew this was probably a stalemate. Neither could reach the other without setting off somekind of defense. So for now he waited till they made the first move and find some kind of opening to at least take them by surprise or have himself die probably a lousy death.

Shunketsu: ok...so...you're going to leave Kohana in the protection of a drunk woman and a limping ninja...smart...
*Shunketsu turned around again and headed for Edge...*

Kao looked at Shunketsu for a second then took off after Kohana and the other's, swiftly catching up. He followed behind, still worried about Kinoru

Edge kept considering his options. Any move he now made would cause possible problems giving his opponent the chance to catch him. Both it seemed had very little in terms of catching the other out. So it all came down to who wanted the victory more. The plan was for him to be decoy but since they knew what was going on it seemed fairly certain the others would have been targeted. He could only assume they had been prepared for it and were now safer than he was. He knew from the battle so far that the enemy couldn't hear, see or probablt smell him. So unless he made it impossible for the opponent to detect his movements this would be a bit tricky.
Possible ideas soon came to mind as he kept himself ready. Try and collaspe the network of ropes by cutting off the air supply to where the ninja remained. Maximising his sound output could do the trick and with such a wave it would be very hard to find the time to react. The other was to use his exploding tags like mines and set off timed explosions to disrupt their detection system for him to close in and plant a tag within range of actual effect. For now he kept considering the options clearly maintaining paitence as best he could.

*she gave up her detection plan and went all out...all the ropes in the network began to shift...and eventually move...quite quickly...the ropes churned the dirt in the vicinity in a pattern...drawing in everything towards the center...any underground rocks would be headed towards the center as well...the plan was to get everything together and compress it...hopefully crushing Edge in the process...all the ropes around the center rope was on the move...if Edge was anywhere within the network...he would feel the earth behind him pushing him towards the center...*

*before long, Kita would have successfully led Kohana, Maiko, and whoever was following to the village...right before...she collapsed on the ground...medics rushed to the scene and took Kita and Iva to the hospital while some field medics tended to Kinoru on the spot...another nin, with a bandaged chest where a little blood was still seen where three slash marks were present, approached Kohana and bowed...*
nin: Kohana-hime, it is an honor that you would come to our village after what we've done...I sincerely apologize...
Kohana: now Yasuo...we've known eachother since childhood...you used to be my bodyguard before the Ramen-Tempura incident...no need to be so formal...tell me...how is my father?
Yasuo: I feel obliged to tell you the truth...your father isn't doing too well...but his health should hold after he hears of your safe return...
*Yasuo eases up out of his bow and turns to Maiko*

*Yasuo examined the group*

Maiko: DIE! *Maiko had a pretty slow speed, so Yasuo jumped out of the way...he wanted to be nowhere near where she landed her punch...Maiko's fist hit the ground and a half foot deep crater about 3 feet in daimeter was carved into the earth...*
Yasuo: Maiko! Calm down! I can assure you that...
Maiko: bull****!
Kohana: Maiko, stop...
*Maiko paused right before she was about to leap into another punch*
Kohana: let him explain...
Yasuo: as I was saying...we did not kill Botan...we did not even pursue you until you came within Pocky Country's borders
Maiko: what? but you attacked us all the way in...
Yasuo: Maiko...I can assure you...that was not us...we may have wanted Kohana back, but we aren't stupid enough to go into another country with such few numbers...
Maiko: but they donned Ramen headbands
Kohana: I should have known the fighting style was off...
Maiko: what...are you saying?
Kohana: did you notice the use of ropes at all during that fight? Ropes are the trademark of the Ramen-nin...and when Botan was killed...
Maiko: there...were...no ropes there...
*Maiko just started bawling loudly at this point...*
