Chikuu Maiden of Night Chikuu Does anyone know where to get a Champion's Orb? I know the special memory card in Japan came with one when you started your game, but in-game I can't find any pieces for it or the orb itself! And i really want one... crying Well, according to Game Faqs, you can get a Champion's Orb in the Big Hole Ruins during the Jeane recruitment quest. There aren't any pieces for it. But my guide (the official Brady Games one) says that there isn't a Champion's orb there. Then again, Brady Games guides aren't that trustworthy anymore. I'd look through the ruins again just in case. xP Hmm... Yeah, I have the guide too and it says nothing about it. I'll check in Eresh's dungeon place, since I've never been there and that whole area for where you recruit Jeane... Jeez, what a hassle. Thanks for the help. If I remember right, the chest with the Champion's Orb is hidden somewhere in that room. I do remember that I did get the Champion's Orb during Jeane's quest though so it is in the big room. Though I am not sure if that is the same room that you are talking about since I never recruited Eresh yet. (I decided to go with Euram, it was not worth it >_>)

The big open area or that huge a** room? I haven't recruited Eresh either, so that's one of the reasons why I was wondering where it was...

Ohsaka Eresh > Euram. Euram sucks! And getting Eresh was worth it, the levels of my party jumped so high afterwards. 3nodding N00b! Just because Euram can't fight doesn't mean he sucks! He has an awesome tactical skill for war battles, and plus, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Eresh has liek, none.

But the good thing is that if you have Egbert and Cahari equiped with the Firefly rune *the one that attracts more enemies* you'll get lotsa money and fast! And it's a splendid place to train as well. I think got my sunbeam orb/piece (can't remember which one was it sweatdrop ) in the big room that leads to the underground ruin. It's in a tresure box on top of the platform when recruiting Jeane. I'm not really sure it'd been awhile sine I've played so my memories' hazy.

Chikuu N00b! Just because Euram can't fight doesn't mean he sucks! He has an awesome tactical skill for war battles, and plus, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Eresh has liek, none. scream Eresh is still awesome and I find her Thunder skill is more useful than Euram's Rumors skill. Getting Euram is just easier for those who don't wanna go deeper into the ruins. And besides, Euram is just unlikable..how can anyone argue character development? But I've never recruited him, all I know is he "becomes a man" after Sialeeds kills off Barows. Still, I think Luserina has more b..ahem "guts" than he does. talk2hand

Euram however is not a fighter but he's like Snowe......... and that's why I like him......... he has a great character development P.S Anybody got pics of the Falena's Finest Unite....... ever since I used it on Sialeeds it became my favorite............ Now I'm gonna keep on using the knights........... yay biggrin

Typical pubescent boys. And Euram is very likable, if you have fine tastes and a good eye for deep character. Trivolties such as skills should not be placed before personal traits. YuBeR_13 I actually prefer Euram than Eresh since you already have a lot of mages so I put her in the back of my list... This man speaks the truth. Unless you're some kind of Mage Whore, the only mage you'll need in SV is Zerase. And besides, Eresh has poor syntax and is way too short.

Well I guess I can see where you guys stand and your reasoning is acceptable. But I still dislike Euram, he's just of no use to me when I played the game. Anyways, onto something more amicable..

Personally, I never liked his character much, and I hated Salum but I was just curious to see what would happen if I tried to recruit him after his encounter with Sialeeds(+1 Respect for doing that)
BTW when I do go to recruit Eresh, will I need Jeane in my party or can I just go with anyone?

You need Jeane in your party. You can recruit her later on, I'm not sure when specificaly. Just after you recruit Jeane, I guess, since that is pretty later on.

Ohsaka 28 years?! No way, then Georg would've been hella old in the rest of the Suikoden games he appears in. Supposedly, Suikoden V takes place 6-9 (not sure at the exact number) years before the first events of I. Lucreta must be in her late twenties or early thirties despite her appearance. neutral Actually, I was just counting up the years between each game. I had heard that Suikoden V began ten years before the original Suikoden and ended six years before Suikoden. So still, it is ten years. Then you have the Gate Rune War. Three years later is the Dunan Unification War. Fifteen years later is the Grassland war. Adding those up together, it is at least 28 years. So Suikoden V takes place 28 years before Suikoden III. I think that Lucretia was at least 22, still.
And according to TheirStar.com, Georg was 29 in Suikoden V and 41 or 42 in Suikoden II. That does make sense since Suikoden V was thirteen years before Suikoden II.
EDIT: Oops. I found an error in my previous post, which made people confused. I meant to say that Suikoden V takes place 28 years before Suikoden III. I forgot to put the three there. Excuse my mistake.
