Makkah was happy the Underground was doing well. She was looking forward to checking it out, and reasoned that it'd likely be a lot more fun once she was older.
As the wind whipped past them Makkah stifled a cough. She was layered pretty heavily but the wind was powerful and chilled everyone to the bone. Cerpin must've noticed as he offered his concern.

”Oh, nah, I'm f-!!”

Her words were muffed by the scarf being wrapped gingerly around her. She was shocked and a blushed in embarrassment of this sudden gesture of care.

”Oh, t-thank you! I, uh, guess it couldn't hurt, y'know?”

She barely knew this big sponsor of hers and here he was offering the clothes off his, like, neck or whatever! The girl held the scarf to her chin with a smile and whipped the reigns of their toboggan sharply, trying to catch up after her brief lull considering this kind act. She was determined to get as far as they could as fast as they could. And also to have a wicked fun time singing afterwards.

"Kyaaaaa! What is wrong with you? Can't you steer?" Flydra elbowed the annoying boy hard in the ribs. "Then again, the bags under your eyes look like black holes. I'm guessing you're half blind." She snapped at the other tealblood. She was the aggressor here and he'd best not forget it!

Bunsen laughed, pushing to match Volkei's quicker pace. This was great!

"halp meeee"

"Good." The redblood carried both leads over his shoulders, pulling them tight. "Just so you know," he added, "I'm very competitive. I have no intention of losing this thing." He gave his partner a stern look.

It was a joke? Probably?

"If it does, you can keep the scarf!" Cerpin joked back to keep the mood light. Makkah was a cute kid, blushing like that from such a simple gesture of kindness. Maybe she wasn't as used to people taking care of her. Some purplebloods were like that, keeping to themselves and taking care of themselves. Not everyone, if Aerona was any indication, viewed highbloods as deserving of kindness. He still needed to work with her on that.

"So... what kind of trouble have you been up to after the show wrapped up? Raising chaos in NHC?" He laughed and continued pushing forward to keep their toboggan moving.

Bunsen let out a little cheer as they continued to pick up speed.

"Are the goggles helping with the snow?" Volkei shivered and hugged Mio closer for warmth. Bringing the cub had been a bad idea. It was getting hard to see him in the deeper sections of snow. Bunsen had had the right idea to wear a jacket. And shoes. And goggles.
