Belamos hugged his daughter back, enjoying the moment of peace. He was not sure how many they would have left. "You're welcome" He said softly. Once the moment passed he stepped back as his daughter released him. Looking down at her, he was preparing to give a new directive when he noticed her eyes had shifted from the green of her normal days to a familiar ringed hue. 'Rinnegan?!' He thought to himself, eyes wide with surprise. Quickly he composed himself, bemused by the latest turn of events. She really was her mother's daughter if she was able to use the Rinnegan already- a feat that took Tsuki decades to unlock. With a snap of his fingers, Belamos would reflect the light in front of Aurelia. This made a sort of mirror effect in that she could now see herself reflected in the open air. "It seems you are more like your mother than I believed, Aurelia" He would let her look at her new reflection for a moment before continuing "Your eyes have changed. You have unlocked the dojutsu called the Rinnegan- the same technique your mother was able to use" She would, undoubtedly, recognize her eyes as the same ones her mom had. They were a hard thing to forget. After his explanation was through, he would gesture to the door before starting off that way "I will explain more soon, sweetie, but for now we need to visit the Kages. They will want to see this for themselves" He would wit for his daughter to accompany him before setting off, holding her little hand in his.

Mako haulted just shy of striking her downed opponent. Stepping back, she re-focused herself. Dismissed by Belamos without further training, Mako exited the training area and stalked the halls. So far this village hasn't shown that much of an interest in teaching me jack. I guess I'll have to learn on my own. Coming to a stop in front of the library, she entered cautiously. Not seeing anyone present at the moment, she made her way in deeper. Walking up and down the aisles, Mako observed the various titles of references. Basics of botany. Basics of battlefield strategy. Ha! Kill the other guy. Mako eventually stopped and removed a scroll labeled Lessons of Ninjutsu by Hiro Kawashi. Mako sat down and began reading. While the scroll went through the theory of chakra, Mako tried to feel out her core in the same way as described. Surprised to find how easy it was to tap into, Mako read intensely. Following each step presented to her she began her study on the nature of Ninjutsu.
The first thing she worked on was disturbing her chakra. While the idea of illusions sickened her, she knew misdirection could be deadly. She held a handseal, and focused her chakra to flow faster then suddenly stop before continuing. In this way, the chakra that was influencing her own could be overtaken and broken.
Second, she worked on her control more in depth by focusing it to the soles of her feet. Making her way to one of the sturdy bookcases, she hesitantly took a step up it. After a few tries, she managed to climb all the way to the top.
Sitting on top of the bookcase, she focused on a nearby chair. She reached out with her chakra and latched onto it. In a brief moment and a puff of smoke she had switched with the chair.
Molding her chakra, she quickly created a copy of herself using the bunshin technique. She examined it for any discrepancies and once satisfied dismissed it. She noted that their were advanced elemental forms of the same technique with greater substance.
She heard a sound as someone seemed to walk by the door. She briefly applied her chakra to make her appear as if she was the chair still stuck on the bookshelf. A stranger poked their head in, but not seeing anyone, moved on.
Mako checked for additional reference scrolls and selecting them, She checked them out at the front desk sign out sheet. Placing the scrolls in her pocket. She headed out in search of another training room, hopefully one with water.

The hug shared between father and daughter was something that brought the girl some amount of joy in a long while. Aurelia pressed her face into her father's warm body. Never again would she be sandwiched in a family hug, the familiar braid of her mother's dangling within arm's reach. She recalled the many memories of her mother while feeling a bit nostalgic for her. The child's eyes burned for a moment like she was going to cry but no tears formed. When her father looked surprised, her expression turned to that of concern. "Daddy?" She asked before he snapped his fingers and used the light near him to reflect it back at her. The effect was a mirror which showed her what he was shocked at. Her eyes at changed completely. "M-My eyes!" Her hands slowly rose to her face, watching as her reflection blinked and wore an expression of uncertainty on it. "They look like...Mommy's."
"Your eyes have changed. You have unlocked the dojutsu called the Rinnegan- the same technique your mother was able to use. I will explain more soon, sweetie, but for now we need to visit the Kages. They will want to see this for themselves"
Aurelia listened and grew worried. Had she done something wrong? Did her mother experience this when she unlocked her Rinnegan. She let out a small huff and walked forward, taking her father's hand. Her smaller one held onto his larger one. It took some doing but she used her free hand to secure her mother's old headband around her neck. It fell loosely on her upper chest. A good place to keep it for the time being. "Sorry, Daddy..." Aurelia said as they left.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion pivoted on her heels, spinning to face the squid. Her eyes narrowed in on the reflective surface of his glasses as she gritted her teeth in a desperate attempt to not bite the head off of her friend. "It's supposed to be a secret..." She replied, words dripping with withheld rage. Who could have told him about it? The kage? Surely not; they were the ones who swore her to secrecy. Even with Toso's ranking within the village, surely he wouldnt be privy to such information. It must have been that other... the red-haired man. So it was just a ploy... a trick to get her to drop her guard. But why tell Toso? Was he in on it too? Shion, dizzy and foggy from mental exhaustion, took a step cautious step backwards as her eyes nervously darted around the area. Something wasnt right here, and she'd find out what it was or die trying.
"You seem tense Shio-nee. Bloop. I merely wish to chat. However, I suppose your answer implies that my source was right." Toso would look down to the ground momentarily then back up. A grim dark aura casting a shadow over his eyes before he'd raise his head once more to the same blank looking expression as before. "She brought it to my attention the condition we share bloop. It seems we've more in common now." Toso's hands moved up to the buttons of his attire only to see they were unbuttoning on their own. Internally he would say Yuki that's not necessary. but despite that thought, there was a settled reality that it was his will, not hers that was unbuttoning it but it still felt nice all the same to believe it was her spirit doing so. The crease would open beneath the ascot to reveal a spiral of sorts. A rainbow spiral that seemed to be seeping in a rainbow-colored liquid ever so slightly like you'd see from soap bubbles, but twas a seal that bore similarities in design like Shion's own. Likewise to make a point again noticing this Toso's skin would likely look all the easier to see as glossy.
It didn't take a genius to put two and two together. Any dunderhead could piece it together, reports of a big gooey monster and then the thing vanishing. It had to have gone somewhere...and that somewhere was clearly in Toso based on what he was repping on his V-neck zone. The suit would then start its almost magical method of putting itself back together. He couldn't help but think how his bartender and himself also had this fashion manipulation in common now. Though recalling his resteraunt...ick. Was all he could seem to think about.
"I happened along this way and into you after just returning the core facility to its former glory bloop." He'd ease into what he was about to ask with small talk. In truth even he wasn't quite certain he'd be ready to deal with what kind of response Shion would give him. More over is she remained internalized in her thoughts and didn't say anything...he'd have to assume the worst and base his conclusions on what Saiken was willing to share about what the Nibi told her. Moving the conversation along mentally preparing himself before a chuckle. "Bloo bloo. Though I've doubt you've any interest in that bloop. Shio-nee bloop... I hate to be so forward but would you care to share you current relations with your tailed ally?"
The use of 'tailed ally' while unknownst to Shion was what was called a trap of the tongue. It was an equal part a question and a way to determine Shion's familiarity with her demon and also how she saw it. If she dismissed it as an ally is her response Toso would conclude that Shion was indeed a prison keeper, if she agreed in his claim that it was her ally then they were at least on believed friendly terms, and if she was uncertain what to call it...well there would at least be room for mutual understanding...Toso was lucky, Saiken was an incredibly temperate and reasonable creature. Whether the same could be said for her kin was an unknown.
Saiken would be attempting to communicate with the Matatabi. Their conversation would be reserved to be just between them less Saiken aimed to share. "Mattabi in what conditions is your host keeping you? I ask this time not in concern for my host's interests but in yours. I would also like to ease your worries about my condition. My host is a commendable sort. The place in which I've been given is quite open. If I were to explain it an ever-expanding marshland. He seems to provide me his memories as a form of amusement. I cannot deny some have been amusing. Though I cannot deny, if I ever sought freedom I could achieve it quite easily. Though I am honoring a form of 'contract' you could say between us."

Toso, on the other hand, would be met with a scoff from his fellow host. "Relationship? Ally?" The girl's mouth opened for a laugh, though it would be stifled by a still yawn as another wave of lethargy crashed over her. The frequent ups and downs of being the Nibi's host never ceased to irritate Shion, but at least fatigue eased the migraines. Shion pinched at her temples with one hand, dragging her thumb and index fingers down to rub at the dark bags beneath the girl's eyes. "No... you... are an ally, the Kages are an ally..." her words weakly trailed off for a moment as her eyes slowly slid into a heavy lidded stare. "This thing... It's... it's a nightmare; it's evil." Another pause followed by another yawn. "Do you know what it does to me? What I have to go through every. Single. Day? You dont think I've tried talking to it? What do you think I was doing before you showed up?" As shion spoke, her tone would remain dull and listless, but there was somehow an increasingly anxious energy behind each word. "It doesnt want to talk. It doesnt want to compromise. You know what the first and only thing it ever said to me is? 'I'm going to make your life hell.'" It was a bit of a paraphrase to be sure, but still very much carried the message she had received before the nibi locked itself away from Shion. "All it wants to do is torture me."
Toso's head cocked to the side slightly. It was then followed by a sigh. " True. That does quite sound nightmarish. Bloop. Yet, have you ever stopped to consider what you've in turn done to the Nibi? Toso walked up to Shion who was visibly irrate and at the same time looked drained and exhuasted. It was because of this the squid did not fear his following actions. It was almost humerous in a way as when he grew closer he stuck both his hand under Shion's pits and picked her up like one would a toddler. He'd then walk to a tree and sit down placing Shion in his lap as though it were kindgergarten classes story time. The motions all played out like some slice of life comedy as though Shion was a baby and Toso the babysitter. Before she could express distatse in being treated this way he'd put his hand on top of Shion's head, it was, like petting a cat, and perhaps in a sense was oddly soothing to a degree. Perhaps it was to stimulate the Nibi while also comforting Shion though while it may have stimulated one it would maybe be putting the other to sleep. especially with a voice like Toso's.
Toso would then go on what sounded like a tangent as he continued to pet Shion's head. "Shion-nee do you recall the time five years ago when Shiro sentenced you to punishment for disobeying orders. You lashed out at him I'd say in a similar fashion with how you disagreed with your sentence. Bloop. Confined to that temple, bored, and with a nagging irritation that you were helpless to oppose his authority feeling your sentence was unjust in every manner. bloop. Toso would then make a sudden movement placing both his hands on Shion's shoulders. Enough to cause a brief startle to prevent her from passing out and to get her attention. "I doubt you'd be very talkative then, would you? You'd undoubtedly loathe Shiro if that were the case bloop. Spend every moment thinking about how you could get him back for such an injustice and in any moment you could, you likely would in moments of defiance. SHIONxxxxxMORI By all accounts, Toso should be dead right now, nothing more than a vaguely squid-shaped stain on the ground. This was an affront that demanded immediate recompense. Shion's height was always a touchy subject, and now to be carted around like an actual child? If it werent for the crippling exhaustion that currently wracked the girl's body, there would be no deity in this world or the next that could spare Shion's wrath.
For now, she'd imply sit in place and listen to Toso as he dumped exposition like he was written by Kojima. His points were... questionable at best. What did he think Shion meant when she said she was trying to talk to the Nibi? "Yeah, that's all good an all, but the difference between it and me is that I was willing to talk to the old man when he came to talk to me... her words trailed off into a shocked yawn as Toso moved her off his lap and once again adding another tally to the list of transgressions for which she would soon demand satisfaction. "I do think it's a living thing, but... ugh... it's so stubborn. Like talking to an angry wall," her words would trail into a mumble as her eyes drifted downwards, clearly missing the irony in how she basically just described herself.
Toso laughed, silently to himself that he was able to escape his jostling of Shion uninjured. Then he continued to speak. "True. Yet, one could say you talking back was also out of obligation bloop less you be considered treasonous. bloop. I do believe you're missing the point I'm trying to present Shio-nee. The Nibi has no obligation to you whatsoever, bloop, especially when they see you as its captor. What I'm saying is try as you might to talk to them, they have no reason to want to talk to you. They may be tormenting you but as irritating and as frustrating as it may be you need to shoulder the fault of containing it to the point where it feels all they can do is lash out and then perhaps you can make peace to build a new wall. Toso would then take the moment to remove a single brush from the brush case kept in his front pocket. The same one used to repair the gates and the core compound the Kanji for Octopus and Armaments on the case. Modoru Gumo was seeing less and less use, but perhaps it was due impart to the fact it was the brush he believed to be the one that committed the first affront to his beliefs. Truly though it was particularly unwieldy for anything aside combat. Between his fingers, like fancy folk wield their cigarettes Toso stated the following proposition.

It was an appeal to Shion's career if not for herself, then have her swallow her pride for her nation and the people in it. Truly though this was a dual ploy. Toso was starting to fear that Shion and the Nibi would be constantly at odds with one another. Saiken was most certainly picking up on this. Toso didn't want to consider the possibility of ousting someone he considered a friend and comrade so this was his gambit.
"Bloop. Shio-nee. I can weaken the seal. The Nibi, if they are as violent as you say, will seize that opportunity. bloop. It will likely be the start of a power struggle between the two of you. A communion of discussion, what may be considered a shouting match, a moment to belt your feelings against one another. Concentrate on me if things start to get violent and I'll endure bloop." Toso closed his eyes momentarily. "It may very well be incredibly unpleasant not unlike mine where It felt as though my very flesh was set to melt bloop." He'd then open his eyes as the he reached into his pocket to remove the brush case once more and opened it. In his left hand was the open brush case ready to put the brush away. In his right hand the one brush he'd removed was floating in his palm ready to do something. It was very well something like a red pill, blue pill moment from the matrix with the atmosphere being produced. He'd then say in the same voice as always. Deadpan and monotonous. The young blue-skinned woman stretched as she entered into the pool area of the academy. She quickly discovered she was alone. Stripping down to her underwear, she dove into the pool and swam a few laps. Slipping out, she sat along the edge and dried her arms off. Retrieving the scrolls from her clothes, she read up on a few techniques before putting them into practice.
Mako stood up and channeled chakra down to her feet. and stepped onto the surface of the pool. Though it initially took a great deal of concentration, she began to find it easier to regulate the needed chakra. Soon she was running and jumping around the pool.
Mako ran through a few handseals before reaching into the water. Squeezing their hand, they ripped out a tanto shaped blade of water and made a few practice swings with it. Throwing it to the side, the water splashed back into the pool.
She focused hard on a point in the distance as a few drops of water rose. They formed a small mirror that Mako could see her blue-grey tinted skin in. She held it there as she prepared her next jutsu.
Using the mirror as target practice, Mako flicked specks of water towards the mirror. She continued her efforts until there was a consistent impact on the mirror. Mako headed back to her clothes where she had left the scrolls.
She examined the suiton scroll one more time, then realized she had missed a couple. Going back to work She focused first on manipulating the water in the pool to form various shapes. She drew the water up and let it splash back down.
Getting a feel for how water could be drawn and manipulated, Mako took a deep breath and focused on channeling chakra to her chest. Feeling as though she were almost drowning, she spit out a single stream of water that nearly reached the other end of the pool. She practiced it a few times more to feel more comfortable. "This ninjutsu stuff is actually pretty cool." she chuckled to herself.

Sheva decided to move on with her training; though she felt as if she would be able to take on anything; there was something strange in the air. The air of the village, even in the dojo was tense. She opened two of the scrolls and placed them next to each other, she was going to do what she did in the Academy... CRAM.
She looked at the scroll closest to her and smiled, it was another sensory technique. She had already proven to herself that she had developed a knack for it... it was time to further hone her skills. She took a deep breath in, from what she read the Jutsu was essentially a security system. What better place to place the technique then right on the floor. She used a one handed seal and slammed her hand to the ground. Her chakra rippled all along the floor and out into the hallway. She learned early that her reach was vast and precise. She held the release handsign and began to absorb the information that the jutsu was feeding her, though there was no one near; the jutsu stayed on the floor until Sheva used the release handsign again.

Sheva closed one of the scrolls only to move the second one forward and open another. The one closest one was a jutsu that would come in handy later, as the other that she opened was a close relative. She read through the inscription on the scroll and decided to try it for herself. She took a pencil that she found on the ground and drew the seal that was one the scroll. She needed something to seal within this inscription. She reached in her pocket and pulled out a single kunai (( 1 )). She carefully placed it on the sign and placed her hand on top of it. Channeling chakra, she activated the seal and the kunai was immediately consumed by it in a small plume of smoke.
The second scroll was how to retrieve it. Sheva bit her thumb and let a few drops of her own blood fall onto the used seal, she slammed her hand against it and there was a small plume of smoke. She waved away the smoke only to see that the kunai had reappeared just as she had sealed it.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Though she'd never admit it, Toso was correct as always and Shion was once again moved by the squid's words. She was more than willing to work with the demon but given its attitude towards her attempts to bridge the gap, she couldnt promise a pretty resolution. Rising to her feet, Shion took a few moments to ready herself for what was to come. A few deep breaths and a few back and forth paces seemed like enough to prep the body for the tortures described to her by Toso about the unsealing process. "Okay... you got this. Let's show this thing who's the boss around here. Okay... Okay..." She'd mumble a pep-talk to herself in an effort to ease her anxieties about what was to come.
Shion would place her back to the tree she was unceremoniously carried to, facing away from any prying eyes and getting as much privacy as she possibly could for what she'd most likely need to do next; expose the seal to Toso. Being the brain-geniuses they were, the Kages thought it would be a good idea to place the seal in the center of the girl's chest, adding an extra level of unease to the scenario.
Shion threw off the jacket that almost doubled as a second skin for the girl, exposing the tanktop hidden beneath as well as what was surely a new development for Toso. Hidden beneath the jacket were two inked tapestries tracing up the middles of the young host's arms, over her shoulders, and once could assume down her torso. On her right, a twirling torrent of storm clouds send stylized winds down her arm as lightning arced in the unmistakable shape of the old Kumo iconography. On her left, a parade of spirits and monsters of all shapes danced their way downward from a series of tree branches extending from her collarbone and down the shoulder. With one last nervous breath, Shion checked the surroundings to make sure she was in the clear, then lifted her shirt revealing one last tattoo centered between her breast: the demon's seal. Shion's face flushed red with embarrassment as she looked away from Toso. "H-hurry up and break the seal before I break you," she'd bark, her attempt to keep her intimidating presence being broken by a brief stutter.

Mako dried off completely and got dressed. She retrieved a map from her pocket and followed it to one of the academy's training areas. She noticed a sign on the wall near the entrance that read: Meditation before training. A clear vision is paramount to success as a ninja. Mako rolled her eyes, "That sitting around thing? You mean they actually do that? Whatever, I'll try it if it helps." Mako took a seat and tried to focus on a nearby training dummy. She thought to herself, I'm going to hit that thing really, really hard.
Her thoughts seemed to be intensely focused on crushing the innocuous object as though it were truly offensive. I'm going to break it. Shatter it. Smash it into tiny bits. She even briefly imagined doing just that, but ultimately came to a decision. "I can either sit here and think about doing it or just do it. I like the latter better."
She stood up and made her way over to the training dummy. Slowly weaving back and forth she approached it in a slow zig zag pattern. Attacking it from the side, Mako smashed a right round kick into the dummy.
She followed the kick up with a tackle and grabbed a hold of it. Lifting the training dummy from its anchored position, cracking the training floor in the process, she threw it down.
A scent seemed to fill her nostrils.Copper? crossed her mind as she looked around. Taking a deeper breath through her nose, she looked down to notice it coming from her leg where a small scratch had appeared. Mako's eyes twitched and slowly seemed to turn white.
She reached a hand up into the air. Wisps of indigo sparks arced from her hand to the Guandao on her back. The polearm dislodged itself from its holster and flew into her hand. The electrical discharge slowly dissipating in the process.
She hefted the blade and brought it smashing down on the wooden dummy. Again and again she struck it, reducing the training tool into smaller and smaller scraps. When her rage was at last satisfied, Mako grinned with her sharp teeth on display.

"Well now first and foremost you should start considering the Nibi as a they as oppose to a 'thing' bloop. Secondly it would make good to think less about being the 'boss' as it were and more that the two of you are co-workers...or rather two bosses running the same company...bloop. Ah but listen to me prattle bloop." Toso would thusly follow Shion to the more discreet angle of the tree. Saiken would chime how poor of an idea this seemed to be. For her kin to ignore her so blatantly could spell that they were in an even worse condition that had initially been anticipated. Toso himself fully realized the risks involved, he would be relying on Shion to maintain a level of control to a degree to where she could at least focus on him rather than the surrounding inhabitants. Although it would at least pay to bank on a little insurance.
Shion looking away as she bared herself was the ideal time to do so. A seemingly seamless transition would occur after a brief moment that felt like falling after she blinked. Two holes were painted beneath them and had transitioned the duo into Toso's 'dimension' Isekai Junsei. A blank white expanse that was free of prying eyes...and free of casualties. Although before Shion could voice her detest to have the man hurry up he'd wag the metaphorical finger. "Bloop, preparations will take time so do be patient." Suddenly what felt like a tickle between Shion's breasts would occur if she looked down she'd see that the single brush that floated earlier like a key had pressed itself against the seal on her chest. The ink of the seal would begin to slowly turn like a clock counter-clockwise it was slow and while not physically agonizing it would be mentally as it felt like hours when only seconds were passing. As the seal turned Shion would begin to likely feel the burning flames of the Nibi start to bite at her skin if it was already seizing this moment.
Toso was turned the other direction, his back to Shion. As much as he admired the fine body art of Shion that was all there was to admire...of course, he wouldn't say that out loud...Shion wouldn't need the Nibi's power to administer a deathblow if he had. "Let me ease some anxiety, here you needn't worry of injuring anyone aside myself or buildings. You can remain solely focused on your discussion." The rest of the brushes contained in Tako-Buso would begin to float around Toso as well. One of them was selected and grew in size while the rest retreated to the case in his pocket. Toso would then firmly place its end in the ground with a tap as its head became a glowing white liquid and the rest of its length looked to gain a bluish tint. Clearly, the squid was readying himself. His head would perform a half turn. "I have the utmost faith in you Shio-nee." His head would then look forward to his direction once more. "After all. It's very likely I'll die if you can't bloop." He said the words casually, plainly, as he always does. But there was no denying the weight behind his words. If Shion couldn't get it together she'd very likely have the death of a friend on her hands...but of course the Nibi would know this to.
Then before Shion could declare takesy backsies if she got cold feet. The brush that was pushed up against her chest finished. The brush would zoom back to Toso as he caught it in his free hand and placed it in the case. He'd then close the case with a snap, and in that instance, he'd raise his head to the empty white sky of Isekai-Junsei. "Let your heart to heart get started." Another tap of the brush, Like the sound of a heartbeat the once medium in strength seal was then officially weakened a single step. If the Nibi was to make a grab it would be now. If it was anything like his own experience he could only imagine the pain of feeling as though you were being burned alive, and while it may have seemed as though his guard was down it was anything but as he patiently waited with his back turned for a sound of aggressive movement doing so as wished to not see what could be a Shion in agony.

❞ ·.¸¸.-Techniques Used<-.¸¸.·´❞ •Technique Name: [Isekai-Junsei]: (Otherworld Imitation) [-40] Rank: Varies Type: Bloodline Description: [Isekai-Junsei] is the cultivation of Toso's original technique [Tosō-inku] and using that knowledge combined with the knowledge of extra-dimensional spaces produced by fuuinjutsu allowed for the creation of truly amazing technique. [Isekai-Junsei] is essentially a pocket dimension that can be accessed or escaped into via drawing some form of entryway in the real world i.e a door or a hole. Upon opening or entering said space one of two things will occur. A blank white location that seems to extend for miles on end or essentially a mirrored world of the current thread is produced only in black and white. Drawing another entryway in the mirrored or blank world will create a similar entryway in the real world from which to exit. The exit method isn't particularly discreet unless per say the exit was made on something hiding it or is well hidden to begin with. The world inside of [Isekai-Junsei] can then be entirely manipulated by those inhabiting it. This involves its user and any individuals who may be inside. This manifests itself in the ability to create black and white structures and objects and things from sheer imagination as though the world itself was a blank canvas. Objects made with the intent to do harm require an amount of chakra to do so of an [X]-rank and will only last [1-post] thereof and will be treated as [Spiritual] for interactions. Anything made without this malicious intent otherwise will not impart a cost. [Isekai-Junsei] can thusly emulate threads like a Dojo or Academy for appropriate reductions and also offer a place for individuals to compete without the threat of structural damage. [Isekai-Junsei] primarily functions as an excellent utility for tutelage, isolating problem targets, tactical bastion, and a safe haven. But above all else a place where creativity thrives.
